Found this...big whoopie....scroll down to NH..the first one NHSP Major Crime etc
that still has only 5 people listed...Maura's info sadly lacking....(no mention of area missing)

The second one Concord.(Cold Case)...has 3....all geographically Concord South...

I really just skim read.....disgusted that so few were mentioned..perhaps someone will
mail them a list....;-] to bring them up to date.....

Shack, It really is funny to note these descrepancies! It sure looks good on paper! Just try to remember VT and NH were voted top 2 safest states in the country! Giveme a break! How are these things figured and by whom?

I do not understand why you keep saying that you were banished from Maura's forum.

Afer Helena's month long, induced coma,and several weeks of recovery it was noted last year on the forum that it may be eventually shut down.

Helena's health and well being are more important and those whom, genuinely, care undstood this.

Please don't feel like you were singled out or banished.

To whomever posted on the last page, it's true that Maura didn't carry a wallet: she wrapped her cash around her "plastic" and put it directly in her pocket, as per a family member.

Geez...did I forget that she might have had drivers license?...seems that I do recall that Sharon wrote that Maura kept those items wrapped..with a rubber band, in her pocket....OK..my stupid...

And as far as Canada is concerned...I brought my passport, birth certificate with me.
and all they wanted to see was my drivers license....('bout 5 years ago)barely looked at it....but, we were 2 old ladies on a Genealogical quest....hardly suspicious. Well, Maura didn't have a car ..so she was driven across the border...? Sorry, I can't comprehend that.....

hi all ,elsewhere.i got an email from Helena telling me that i was not able to post on the second and since closed forum because i kept asking about Mauras life in amherst ,as did other people ,and mrMurray had 'DEEMED IT' not important .i posted dozens of times 'best to Helena 'on my posts , i do understand that a lot of people for whatever reason have put years of time and effort into finding Maura Murray and i look at the last forum and think what a way to stall and waste these peoples time and effort.most of the 'facts' i have, came fom that forum.ask where the facts have come from they have come from the now closed and not available forum.i am not sure that some scum bag got Maura in N.H.BUT WHY SHE LEFT IS IN AMHERST AND HER PRIOR LIFE.Where is the Murray family here to say yes or no to the facts.again this is deemed not important.elsewhere do not pull the Helena in a coma with me unless i am supposed to look like a loose cannon.i could list all day the contradictions in the press and really odd things that were reported on the last now not available forum.Mauras life was a mess .she left it to get away from those crazy bastards that were around her and the fact that not one of her so called friends or family has posted here makes me sick.i hope she is somewhere ,happy and content and chugging on a vanilla cofee thingy from dunkin donuts and not too worried about her prior life which mrMurray has deemed not important,take care watch amherst philip

Advocator, if she was in a "dissociative fugue state" she probably wouldn't know what they were - but I still say that would be a diagnosis best made by a very competent psychologist. I think that we agree to disagree on this, and that's cool.

With Maura wrapping her money around her plastic and keeping it in her pocket (thanks for the clarifications on that), then these items including ID probably were not in the backpack when she left the vicinity of the Saturn. I was just thinking that if she was in a "fugue state", she might have lost the backpack but probably not what was in her pockets and at some point would look at those things. Wouldn't a person realize something was "wrong" if in a fugue state, and go to the police or to a hospital? I'm raising these questions not because I agree or disagree about Maura possibly being in a fugue state -- I really don't know what I think about that idea -- but because I'm not sure how a fugue state "works" over things like finding ID on one's person. Not that anyone here is an expert, but some may have read more about it than I have.

Voting is done based upon an opinion. They were not voted the top 2 safest states in the country. They are the 2 of the safest states in the country based upon the US Bureau of Justice Statistics. According to the 2004 stats VT is 48 and NH is 51st the safest in overall crimes. VT is 49th in violent crimes and NH is 48. This includes statistics on all 50 states and the District of Columbia. I hope this helps explain how and who figures these.

You bad bad person, for speaking your mind. That is not allowed here. Just kiddin. I think there are alot of people that have the same wonders or thoughts as you.

I know that I find it interesting that Mr Murray has never once from what I know visited any site to offer any answers to any questions directly. I am not sure why someone who says he would do anything to find his daughter would not do that. Maybe someone here who says they speak with or know the family can answer that. I have never heard a compelling reason. I'm just curious.

To the brave soul that disagreed with me. What are you disagreeing with? Did I state something incorrectly? Has Mr Murray indeed been on some site answering questions? Please enlighten us. That red x has really hurt my feelings so you have accomplished something. Seriously, I know you can't see it but there is a tear in my eye. But, we still don't know why Mr Murray hasn't answered any questions directly.

As for NH being the on the top of the list for safest states in the US.

Why don't you ask over half the women in NH who reported being physically or sexually assaulted at some point in thier lives.
