I learned about Maura through Brianna Maitland. I found Brianna's photo on the FBI website. I called my mom and in turn she told me about a beautiful young U-Mass student who went missing. I couldn't find anything on Maura on the FBI website or NHSP website for that matter.

It took MONTHS for Maura's info to be posted on the NHSP website. If I'm mistaken about this, please by all means correct me.

Sorry there was a receipt from the liquor store
on the inventory list of the car and has been
confirmed by the family.

If there was no receipt or record why would there be talk?

Since the wine she took from School was still in the car!

I wanted to be sure to thank you for providing an approximate time frame as to when the cell phone/ping records search warrant was executed.

HANSON - The family of a missing 22-year-old is demanding to know why police apparently failed to investigate one of the last telephone calls she made on the day she disappeared.

At 1 p.m. on Feb. 9, Maura Murray called a Wakefield couple who own a condominium at the Seasons at Attitash resort in Bartlett, N.H., that was for rent. Murray's family has stayed at the resort.

But the couple, Dominic and Linda Salamone, say they have never heard from investigators.

I think you're reading incorrectly, combined with imprecise grammar.

The RECEIPT was found in the car. The LIQUOR is missing from the car.

Of course, it is a presumption that the liquor made the trip and is in her backpack.

so many times..family could possibly have found
some clue from it. Investigation within that first year was seemingly minimal. Even the POC
in NHSP has changed. Has this become a cold case?

Always possible that the various items originally in possession of LE, including the computer and its contents, were first inventoried by LE, then released, then re-confiscated to determine any possible changes. Not implying any changes did occur, but this may have been LE's thinking at the time. Just a guess.

* 1:13 PM - Maura calls another student and leaves a voicemail. No significant information....
* 2:05 PM - Maura calls 800-GOSTOWE for approximately 5 minutes. Later research shows...
* 2:18 PM - Maura calls her boyfriend for approximately 1 minute....
* 4:00 PM or earlier - Maura e-mails one of her bosses and some of her teachers to inform ....
* 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM - A dorm mate reportedly sees Maura leave the UMass Amherst campus.
* 4:00 PM or earlier - Maura goes to an ATM and withdraws $280 from her account. Video surveil...?
* 4:00 PM or earlier - Maura purchases $35-$40 in alcohol while still in Amherst, Massachusetts.
* Video surveillance footage shows her to be alone.
* 4:00 PM or later - Maura apparently leaves Amherst, Massachusetts and likely heads up Interstate 91 north.
* 4:37 PM - Maura checks her cellphone voice messages.

I realize the above time line copy/paste is old...but, my question(s) are ...Which is true ...video of her at ATM.?
OR Liquor store?.....AND, what time between 12:55PM and 4:38P is this "Ping thing" of a call TO
Maura from a Londonderry NH Tower..AND, specifically..what date was the request from NHSP Landry...
regarding the "Ping" from Tower.(Was it before, during, or after the Lavoies turned the car over to NHSP OR was it before, during or after NHSP retrieved car items from family....?)
I recall that in the Spring of 2005 Lavoies still had the car.. AND car items were retrieved by NHSP..in that same time period.(June 2005)

These are very simplistic questions that would not interfere with any type of criminal investigation.
What could possibly be the implication of no direct answers.

PS All items/contents from Saturn just handed over to the family within the first days implies
to me that HPD didn't think anything about this situation as to it being any kind of investigation.

Further to Quija's post, I've tended to think as well that the Saturn ending up on the SR-112 location was not a "staged" event. Although, it may well have been in 2 accidents that evening. And I believe it was in fact Maura in the car at that time.

However, if there was ANY kind of criminal element involved in the Saturn ending up at that spot, my theory is that it was due to car-jacking. In the year previous (2003), that style of Saturn was one of the most-stolen cars across the country (I used to have a link to that information, but no longer have it). And if the Saturn had been car-jacked, then the young woman seen by the SBD likely was not Maura but by happenstance had some general resemblance to her (age, etc.)... and there may have also been a young man present initially.

hi all .amherst ma to londonderry nh is about 2 hours.londonderry nh to woodsville is 2hours and 20 minutes.backtracking from 7.pm in woodsville the phone would have to be in londonderry by 5.pm so should have left amherst by no later than 3.pm.i am considering a 15 minute radius for the ping and i am using google which i think is a lttle reserved on the speed .i know its old and picked over but until we see a video with a time stamp or get a time on the ping who knows when Maura left or even if she did take care philip.

hi all Joe McGee reported that Maura called the Salamones at 1pm on the 9th .it is only assumed that she called about a place to stay.why would she go to a place that her family had stayed at some point in the past if she wanted to make a secret trip.they could stay there in the future.there are more phone pings out there,from the saturday dinner with mr Murray and before the phone was detected near londonderry .we just have to find them or any warrants that were requested to look for them.take care philip
