Thanks for the reply Shack re: articles of clothing found on remote trail.

Fish & Game has been conducting all of the searches and there's a hatchery in Warren.

http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/Inside_FandG/...

In the link above there is a photo of a truck used by the hatcheries that I believe is a samilar type of vehicle as the red truck seen by RO on Feb 9th.

this is what CS stated in the accident report.{When the vehicle was towed from the scene by Lavoies I recovered a coke bottle that contained a red liquid with a strong alcoholic odor} While looking over the NH State Police possessed property report date of report 6/25/04 with a possessed date of 6/28/04 there is listed 1 bottle of Diet Cherry Coke {opened} Cherry coke is red so I guess that explains the red liquid.
I have been told that cherry coke is not red. I will go check at the store tomorrow.

Anne...just a thought..and I do not expect, nor do I want an answer. You had specified a number of people who heard THAT scannercall. I am sure you have gone over every word, that you all
heard, with the family. But, I wonder if the PI's (Weeper)also have that information. As we all know, it is not in the Grafton Log..

Elsewhere, I remember how fast people talked about what they knew about Mr. Powell's crime......wish the same was for Maura.

Yeh ..that truck pictured looks like I imagined...Have been to that hatchery..a few times..once to get info on Fish n Game...
(I am not one to enjoy dead stuffed critters)

Citigirl...could those red licorice straw things that Sharon mentioned, be the coloring...? OR Red wine..? Can't recall if the Franzia was white or red.

Just a thought.....does licorice really melt without a good amount of saliva to break down the sugar in it? I don't have any to try it with but would love to hear from anyone who has tried it.

Why is it that after 4 years of Maura purchasing liquor on the day she left, we now hear she might have bought it on Saturday, along with friends. Someone saw the receipt. Saturday would have been mentioned earlier if this was the case. I think this is more B.S. Why?

Obviously the red liquid in the container was wine. Why do we keep trying to find excuses for the alcohol, instead focusing on why Maura left Amherst?

Even if Maura was drinking, it's probably not the reason she is missing. Why are people trying to make exuses for her? It does no good.

Why is it for 4 years we have been led to think there was video of her in the liquor when there isn't. I mentioned saturday as a possibility.

Possibility fine, all I have read in the past 4 years is that the booze was purchased the day she left. As far as the video, how has it been disapproved? Why was it said there was a video, but no family saw it?

"I'm convinced she was going to call me Monday night and was going to make out the form," he said. "If she wasn't going to do it, why go to the Amherst police and get the form? That makes me think she was unable to make the call. That's why I think she's been physically harmed and is in danger."

"Her father, Frederick Murray, believes his daughter was given a ride from a person who won’t come forward since he helped her leave the scene of an accident, or a person who gave her a ride and then abducted her."

"To take a break or start a new life, she would need money," Murray said in a telephone interview. "She hasn’t used her ATM card, she hasn’t used her cell phone, she hasn’t spent a dime."

The above posted statements were made by Mr. Murray three months after Maura's disappearance.

We are going on five years and still no Maura.

It doesn't sound to me that the Murray family has been bull shitting anyone!

We are getting no where trying to keep Maura's reputation untarnished. Not saying we have to trash her to solve the mystery, but we need to face some facts and not overlook things that might be offensive to some people.

"Scarinza said police believe Murray got a ride from the accident scene.

"From that point on, it’s destination unknown," he said.

Family members believe she would contact them if she could, so they believe she either is being held against her will or has been harmed.

But Scarinza said searchers found no sign of a struggle at the scene or any other evidence that she has been harmed."

What about the spider crack on the interior of the windshield? An expert accident recontstuctionist concluded that the spider crack was caused by something metal from above.

Possible signs of a struggle?
