Good evening everyone, Did the re constructionists of Saturn accident say for sure that something either fell on it or her car hit an object higher than that of Saturn? The damage does not look like it hit a guardrail. Also, what are the details of this supposed first accident that was heard on the scanner? This should be looked into in more detail, as it seems this may be were the scene began, not weathered barn. Any thoughts?

Hi Sara, I'm pretty certain the accident reconstructionist determined the damage to the nose of the Saturn was from something metal from above. I believe Detective Columbo suggested a a trailer hitch/ball. Yes, someone reported hearing an earlier accident over the scanner re: woman in a one single vehicle accident left in a private vehicle. Yes, it has been discussed that Maura may have been in a prior accident within 1-3 miles of the Weathered Barn.

Are you making the assumption that Fred doesn't know anything that he hasn't already said? Are you speculating? Or do you claim to know this as a fact? I wasn't expressing an opinion on that at all. Simply making an observation of your post, which you've now clarified for me.

I dont have time to talk about anything that has happened because, forgive me if I insult anyone, but it has already passed. Again I hope maura gets found, or the responsible parties are found, and I hope that her case is not the past. But my involvment with the case, doesnt even need to be the past, since its not connected. I will pray for Maura and everybody in this world that suffers, sadly not everyone can be helped Hi Petrit, thank you for checking in and speaking up about your lack of knowledge of the events of both your accident and of Maura. I hope you are well, and feel active, healthy and whole. Thank you again.

Thank you guys, Linda has said to me to stop by here and share my knowledge. I am sorry for my appearance being a liittle bit of a let down, but I really am uninformed. I wish I could be of better help. I really do. If you guys do write to me, and I do not respond its not that I am avoiding you but I really dont spend a whole lot of time online other than when I am at work and thats really work related but I will try my hardest to stop by whenever I can and answer any questions that might arise.

I have just skim read the "New Place' but..just a few thoughts.. Sharon was the original author of the Timeline...the following from my memory...Soon fter Sharon arrived she somehow got wind (phone message at motel?) of a meeting at Police Station...She couldn't get hold of Fred and family about this meeting...because of lack of cell use. She spoke of racing to get there and arrived just in time. She asked CS for pen/paper to make notes...He in essence said that there was no need, that he would give her notes/info. after....and he didn't....This wasn't the Bethlehm Press Conf.at night. Anyone else remember..? Didn't find that bit...as yet...but, I have just skimmed. Advocator...job very well done.... Hi Paris

Are you making the assumption that Fred doesn't know anything that he hasn't already said? Are you speculating? Or do you claim to know this as a fact? Well, I assume he 1. Knows the Saturn's physical and mechanical system condition in Bridgeport; 2. Knows whether it was towed or driven to Amherst, and if it was driven, the identity of the person who drove it; 3. Knows whether the Saturn was repaired before late afternoon on Monday, February 9th, and if so what was fixed and by what repair shop; 4. Knows whether he saw the Saturn in Amherst before the late afternoon hours of February 9th; and 4. Knows whether any of the front-end damage damage visible in the photographs taken at Lavoie's, or elsewhere after the accident, was visible or otherwise apparent the last time he saw it. M

FireCat wrote: <quoted text> It's in the Journal Opinion. I cannot access the archives without a subscription. Betcha White Wash has a copy of it around, though, dateline and all.(I have multiple copies of everything I've ever published, so that's not a jibe by any means, WW)

You are a DREAM and thank god you showed up! Oh and Dawn THIS IS NOT BORING! Thank You! So would LE need a search warrant to acess that information on the serve yes? Dawn wrote: I am going to leave one last message about the phone and then call it good. If you dont answer your phone - a feature called no-answer transfer goes into effect -after 3 rings the call forwards to voicemail which sits on a server on premise of the wireless carrier. That call is not handled by the towers and NEVER shows up on a bill. Call yourself right now - dont answer and logon to view your calls online- look what you will see ? It wont be there the tower never handed off the call. That call is actually handled by the telco/landline carrier and goes through the central office. This is an area that I am an expert on.. This is what I have been doing since 1990. Boring to some but I do know telcom.

Hello all,
I´ve been thinking about the mysterious red truck observed by witness RO in Swiftwater. It would seem pretty obvious that the truck and its driver is most likely in one way or other connected to Maura´s case, whether as a "helper"/friend or in a more sinister capacity.
There is some confusion as to whether red pick-up trucks were stopped on purpose or not by Haverhill PD shortly after Maura´s car was found empty at the Weathered Barn curve in Swiftwater.
Even so, it could be argued that the red truck in one way or other may have been directly or indirectly involved in Maura´s first possible accident a few miles west of the Weathered Barn site. It is possible that the red truck may well have been observed at a likely first accident site and that this could have made it of interest to LE after Maura´s abandoned car was found.
I truly think that the mystery red pick-up truck and Maura´s subsequent disappearance are related, whether in a sinister way or not.

I just sent the police log to the other site once uploaded see for yourself states trucks. RO didn't make the statement about the truck until later! How would LE know to stop all red trucks? Hi all . I have always wondered why it took Maura one hour to get from Kennedy Hall to the point where she bent the toyota. Did she go somewhere else first .I think the Quality Inn was maybe 10 minutes away at the most. Was the party, the toyota bending and the quality inn, in somewhat a straight line.Take care philip
