In defense of LE (not that they always deserve it), they have to be extremely careful to have a nearly perfect case before a charge is made. Some states require a body for a murder pros, other states do not. States without a death penalty have less leverage when questioning a suspect or prosecuting a defendant. You get only one chance to prosecute. Lose it and perp walks.

Also, the forfeited and/or seized possessions of people considered potential suspects in at least three NE disappearances in two states have been surfacing in local western Mass. auctions for the past several years. Many if not all of these items have been directed to the local auctions by an intermediary who drives a brand new Ford Interceptor, a vehicle not usually sold to the general public.

Tom Conrad is a man who was murdered as he arrived home in his own driveway and lived near an active poster here. I beoieve CM also lives nearby.

Just up the road a bit, Albert Powell was murdered by crack addict Cary Indelicato. I find it odd so many murders/disappearances in a small area. Does anyone see any connection? Really ,what are the odds for the number of murders and disappearances in such a small area?

Yes, a Crown Victoria Police Interceptor - by Ford. Brand new.

LE must have examined the items before placing them in live auctions. They also tracked the destination of these items, many of which were quickly re-sold online, after the items left the live local auctions.

The number of stolen body parts used by reputable surgeons at well-regarded hospitals is staggering. An oral surgeon in NJ was recently indicted by a federal grand jury on 122 counts related to illegal procurement of human tissue. His company had sold nearly 20,000 pieces to various medical businesses. Many of the bones stolen from the deceased in mortuaries and funeral homes, for example, were replaced with PVC pipe. Other areas of the cadavers were replaced with rags.

A single hormonally induced harvest of 10-15 eggs from a very attractive champion female athlete with nearly perfect SAT's would bring about $100,000 on today's market. A larger, surgically acquired harvest would obviously bring much more money. If the black market already exists, which it does, where is the supply coming from?

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that all 20,000 pieces of human tissue sold by the NJ oral surgeon were stolen. I believe the actual number of stolen body parts is only a fraction of the nearly 20,000 he sold to brokers.

Crazy, for sure. That's why, when 4 stem cell companies are closely connected to both the $40,000 and $60,000 donations to the $100,000 Molly Bish Reward Fund, one has to wonder whether the old business saying, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer," doesn't apply.

Same stem cell companies were also very near John Regan, convicted of attempting to abduct Lindsey Ferguson, a young, attractive, female track star with established brain power. Just like Maura Murray. And just like Molly Bish.

If the circumstances surrounding Bish and Ferguson are unusually similar, and if Murray shares the same traits and potential fates as Bish apparently did and Ferguson probably would have, then why not tentatively see these crimes as related? Maybe they're not, but I'll bet a forensic accountant would agree that they might be.

From a strictly scientific point of view, the single most obvious feature these women share is good genes. And right now, good genes are very good money.

So then the question is begged. What conventional abductor/serial killer would chose his victims according to their IQ? And chose those most likely to successfully resist a kidnapping attempt, as did Ferguson?

With no progress in either the Bish or Murray cases for four and eight years now, these kinds of questions, once far-fetched, need at least a little honest attention.

By reviewing state and federal corporate filings, along with some other public records, it's not hard to see that this macabre scenario is far from impossible.

well im just trying to piece some of the local talk together. about 2 years ago i was talking to a friend and we got into a discussion about maura murray it was mentioned to me that maura may have been involved with a local construction worker that worked for an outfit in haverhill. knowing it takes time or many phone calls to form any type of base to any relationship. that is why i was asking for info to any prior trips to the haverhill area, for if murder is the outcome of maura's fate it is stated by david abrahanson that sexual elements are always involved in murder. it was mentioned that on feb 9 04 before leaving mass she made many phone calls one to a fellow nursing student. could that be the friend from east haverhill? could this friend have introduced her to a local or locals from the haverhill area? just speculating.

When claude's twin bro died,, alot of people did not want to think the worse.

It is so hard to think a young child could commit murder,,esp. if the perp is a young child although his death was suspicious!!!!!

his death bed confession that claude murdered Maura! I say pretty damning!!Claude was born and raised right in Bradford VT.
