Anne, I'd hope that some of the basic things OH MY said early on were being investigated until they have enough???... and I guess i'm starting to understand why details about evidence, etc., aren't being released.
Teague? Following the hostage release story. It led me to Chatham. Seems like your family (and extended family) are really active and highly respected in the community. There's sure a lot of celebratory town feelings. But, alas, gotta inform you... still no SS# yet. Or favorite color. Hope no-one's messing with your yard again. |

Don't remember if she was present for that one or not.(not even sure at this point of the date of that particular search) I do tend to trust what she says, she's got no reason to lie or mislead. This is just weird, and from out of left field, and.....well, weird. Shackkkk!!! HERE KITTY KITTY KITTY!!!! |

O.K. not to be conspiracy theorist or anything. Buuuuttttt, Ask yourself this? What is a defense lawyers first question? Ans: How was evidence gathered and what was the chain of custody of it? That is the first way out.... So hypothically speaking if None of the evidence gathered so far is usable. Then that maybe the direction this has been led on purpose. And that would bring light to the theory that someone in a powerful position/authoritive position is directly or indirectly involved. That would explain alot. Now with that said, I like the theory of problems prior or at school more. But just throwing out some stuff in the back of my mind. Trying to keep an open mind. |

Judged: 1 Just found a nice picture of the Solid Rock Assembly of God Church in Barton, in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, where Maura may possibly have been seen on Fathers Day in June 2005. Check it out on: http://meeyauw.blogspot.com Driving past on a warm & sunny summer day like the one when this picture was taken, I can well understand if Maura may have been tempted to go inside for a while... |

Thinking about a few things here from past conversations/readings...not sure how much is fact or fiction, or somewhere in between...... the man who gave the knife to Fred said his brother and his girlfriend had started acting weird after Maura went missing--that the man thought it might be involved with Maura.....he died not long after that--I don't know that the man was ever identified and I don't remember it being specifically Claude's brother.
As far as Maura wanting to be a physician's assistant.....actually a physician's assistant is quite similar to a physician...they can prescribe medications in most states and in rural areas, may even be able to work indepedently of a physician..... it's similar in nature to a nurse practitioner but less "whole person" based and more "symptoms of disease" based....I believe its a master's level education like an NP. The person who does blood pressure's etc. is a medical assistant. |

My motto (this is after having been an RN for many years and still counting) "Every BODY needs a nurse" (patting myself on the back as I type--passed my Nursing boards 11 years ago this week!) |
Hi --- Uhhhh --- I was being mis-read. I believe nurses know as much as any medical person needs to know. I choose to see my nurse practictioner rather than my excellent internist. My sis-in-law, a nurse, has shown us all these things as well as having the benefit of being right THERE to evaluate a physician's or surgeon's performance in a way a doctor would not. WHAT I THOUGHT WAS... the "physicians's assistants" I've met had job descriptions more like "aides". I'll check this out, but do not EVER think i and everyone i know does not respect a good nurse to the extreme! Like the rest of you I've spent time with loved ones in the hospital.... etc. etc.... and nurses are extremely knowledgeable angels.
So now there's just checking on the job description in diff. states of a physician's asst. and a physician's aide to settle the semantics. Sorry to rile anyone. Nurses are our wonderful health care providers. ok, enuf |
|
By the way, how did you all get the idea that I was putting nurses down? I have never reached the level of responsibility and achievement a nurse has, and I don't think I said anything except... Maura had transferred to UMass to study nursing. Later a family member said she wanted to be "a physician's assistant". The PA I dealt with during my folks' illnesses did not have the authority to issue RXs. She was great! But her responsibilities differed from RNs. This was 3-9 years ago and maybe the job titles have changed. If you don't stop me, I will talk forever of everyone my sis-in-law, our RN, has "saved". So let me know when to stop, ok? Let me know you realize it's a misunderstanding!!!!!!! Gee!

OK, it's been 2 minutes and no-one's posted. I'm sitting here with lists spinning through my head of all the times "our nurse", my sis, saved us. She did CPR on my uncle, she got my dad to the doc when he had an aortic abdominal aneurism at 89 and would've bled out, she's managed the healthcare, paperwork, monitoring of meds, acute observations of symptoms, and choices of specialists for all our relatives. You'd better stop me because I'm perseverating here. And this is not the topic we're here to discuss.

We wii, Good post, when I consider the libelous post that Oh My made, it makes me saddened as there was a lot of truth within. |

OK two more posts, an Our Father and two Hail Mary's and you'll be forgiven..... LOL |
I was at the search by the professional cadaver dogs. The PI team kept their plans and themselves at a distance from family and onlookers. HPD and NHSP were invited to participate. They did not. Those are facts.
|
|
I assume from all relevant facts the search by law enforcement ended early on. Why?
|
|
Moose --- thank you! pheww!

|
Moose! I just noticed! You gave me TWO MORE POSTS?! Oh, you're gonna regret this! It could be lengthy.
On-Topic: I am stunned (again) that HPD and SP did not participate in the cadaver dog search. That is truly suspicious. Uncooperative. Not suggestive of even wanting to solve Maura's case. |

Hi all,
Not one single post from BeagleBart today. I very much miss his always insightful and highly interesting input here. With all due respect to you all, this board is just not quite the same without the participation of BeagleBart! I hope that he is out celebrating the release of his cousin from the Colombian kidnappers. Hopefully and God willing, the day will come when we all may be able to celebrate some really good news pertaining to Maura. Let´s all pray for that. |
Quija, good to know I misread. Wait, that came out wrong.....good to know that it's not what you meant.
One more post and you're home free.:-p |
|
I did not know the renters Oh My spoke of but I did know some of the other people that he was accusing. What he was saying about them was untrue and rediculous. This isn't the first time Oh My claimed to know "things". |
|
Euro, I too hope he is celebrating the release of the hostages...I just keep worrying about whomever is 'after' him!
