If not for all the mystery surrounding the players at the Saturn "accident" site.....I might wonder. If I wondered it might go like "boo who, my car is stuck now, I'm gonna grab my liquer and go die somewhere. But I better run at least 5 miles away so it's harder to find me. Or if it were to run off or jump in a car, same thing. Boo, who, I'm going to start a new life and all I want is my baileys.....it's all I have time to grab darnnit. On the other hand if I thought I was getting a ride and could come back to my car I might leave everything I didn't need right now and lock it up.

Hello all,
Sorry to be mentioning this again, but I do happen to think that it might be vitally important:
Are there any computer-savvy people around on this board who may know how to upload a picture of Maura on her Wikipedia web site, which currently lacks a photo of her.
I´m useless with computers, so wouldn´t be any good here, I´m afraid...
Many thanks!

Hello again,
Just a thought:
If the first "mystery" accident actually happened on Rte 10/302 between Woodsville and the Rte 112 turn-off...
That is, as far as I understand, a fairly widely travelled stretch of road. Even so, it would seem that no passers-by noticed such an accident, or have I missed something here? Anybody knows??? Any known public references/witnesses to such an accident on that road? Very strange if none, I´d say...
Thanks!

I did it again, derailed, lol. What I'm trying to say is, why all the stories? You think maybe it's just because someone didn't do their job? I don't, I think they just didn't line up in the telling and so I keep going back to the reports. Did anyone think about the GUY WITH THE HOODED SWEATSHIRT, gotee (MS) that police tried to stop, but he left before they could question him? I know some people might be ok in just a hooded sweatshirt, Feb 04, but I find it odd that the "Maura" siting walks with this other story.

Too many with stubborn resistance and denial. Too much pseudo intellectual intrigue. Too much blame and evil directed at Maura and her family. Too little attention to Maura and her empty car on Route 112, Woodsville/Bath/Swiftwater in February 2004. My POC will be Weeper because he is a certified detective. At least the murderers of Powell, in Warren and the chap in Wentworth, were identified/charged within the last 4 years. Perhaps eventually, there will be justice served for T.Conrad and Maura. Good night Beth... What's wrong with this? All she's saying is there's some cleaning up to do and it's hard to do when people don't LOOK at the problem, much less consider there even is one. And as for Topix, who's who is anybodys guess. Do we hurt the family any? Yeah, I'm sure we do and I am sorry for that. And last, why bicker at all, let's find Maura somehow. Everyone here has had something to add, less the drama, speaking for myself now......

Everyone probably already knows this, but just in case some people don't understand how Maura's temporary presence at a particular location could be identified by DNA analysis... If, for example, a hair or blood sample were found in a vehicle, building, etc., then its DNA could simply be compared to that of her family, which would be close enough for determining informally whether or not Maura had been at this location.
I would guess the "blood bomb" may have served a purpose similar the XM post a few months ago, by the same poster, reminding readers that Maura's birth control pills were found in the car. IOW, Maura was not pregnant. Some may recall that Clancy and a couple of others immediately punctuated this point in their subsequent posts. There may actually be a very kind and generous reason for having posted this information. Then again, maybe not. Who knows?

By the way, when several of us were concerned yesterday that you might be cold, horizontal, and no longer crazy, I actually called your house and it (the HOUSE?) refused my call because I'd managed to hide my caller ID. It's not easy to make well-baby checks anymore, i guess. Back to Maura: Do most people really think that under the conditions Feb 9th(I'm not listing 'em again, and most don't concern the weather) Maura really began a 17(?) mile run that night? She's a smart kid and even if she ducked most cars, someone -- even along that deserted stretch --- would probably have called it in. Doesn't it make just a little more sense that the CW was confused or gleefully throwing a wrench into the investigation? Also --- to the poster who questioned (weeks ago) the number of cars passing by Maura's accident scene that night and the number of cars CE passed getting there... I'll research it if necessary, but i think Butch as well as several passing witnesses noted that same number of 6-7 cars in a surprisingly brief period. And, if I remember the Sheriff's Log from last year, didn't CE NOT go to the scene from the police station but from another incident nearer by? If anyone remembers it'd help.

Bill, I think maybe she means one person, two names, games....for some kind of gain or reason that's hard to imagine. And it seems she considers them intellectual though.

About CW, I just want to remind people that police went to HIM because of the help of one shop keeper. He had previously spoken about the siting to various people who did nothing apparently and some thought it was for reward. I've always wondered why the police and reporters implied that CW came to them.

Hello all,
Nice to see how very active this forum is today.
Whether the incident/accident of Maura´s Saturn at the Weathered Barn was staged or not and whoever actually drove the car, there are two things which completely mystify me, however much I try to think of reasonable explanations:
1. The crack in the upper left (as seen from the driver´s position) part of the Saturn´s windshield. According to various reports that I have seen, this crack was caused from the inside - not the outside - of the car. What internal force could possibly have caused such a considerable crack in the inner part of the windshield? If the driver of the Saturn (whether Maura or someone else) actually hit the windscreen with such force while driving, he/she must surely have been severely wounded in the head to a very serious degree.
2. The rag in the exhaust pipe. How could this possibly be explained? What purpose could it have served, one way or other?
I´m rather at a loss on both accounts here.
Ideas, please! Thanks!
