Hello all,
Sorry Beagle, but here is another question: Just checked out the UMass Amherst Police Dept web site on www.umass.edu It seems that dorm security, where Maura worked, is actually an integrated part of UMass Amherst PD, at least nowadays. Anybody here knows whether this was also the case back in late 2003-early 2004 when Maura used to work at the secuirty desk of Melville Dorm? Thanks! |
I bet the Saturn was at the home of an amherst architect Thursday night. Or on a speed run to Bruno's.

I feel comfortable assuming it was, but by all means, feel free to call them and find out. What's your point? The towing? |

Judged: 2 2 1 You really are a piece of work with your garbage about not taking your eyes off Maura. Your eyes are not on finding Maura. Your eyes are on everyone else. Your eyes are on making things as totally confusing as possible by your constant quibbling and mamby-pamby posts that go in all directions constantly and DELIBERATLEY mis-stating facts and outright lying and then pulling back and saying you made a mistake and then you're right out there with another load of your own special bs. |

Judged: 2 1 1 It's you, Paris, and people like you who have deliberately tried to keep what actually happened a secret and you know it. |

Judged: 4 3 2 You would actually ORGANIZE. Ever hear of that word??? ORGANIZE???? You would behave like a team and not a bunch of whining broken records playing the same cut over and over and over. WAKE UP!!! It's been 4.5 years already and your commitment has NOTHING to show for itself. If you all spent a fraction of the time DOING something in a truly organized, structured way with a specific goal and a specified way of reaching that goal, you would be much, much closer to finding Maura. If that's what you really want to do. Otherwise, you are all addicted to the DRAMA of finding her. You are addicted to the MYTH of finding her because if you found the truth the drama would be over and you would have nothing to bicker about any longer. Whiston asks a million questions, but even the few answers he supplies are inaccurate at best. And that's putting it charitably. |

Judged: 1 1 1 This Topix group is as poisoned as the old XM site. Yes, a broader range of ideas can be accepted here, but not ones that actually might solve the puzzle. Because then there's nothing left to do. No more DRAMA. No more PUZZLING. As far as I can see - and sorry if I've left anyone out - but quija and Wowser are the only people who actually DO something and come up with REAL LIFE ideas. |

Hi Feagle F,
Have you been talking about the Community of Science over the past several posts? Darn! There's another question! That's what you want us to get away from!(I think. Join Websleuths to PM others who you instruct to join there too.) Okay, if we can, we've gotta get out into the world and check out PRIMARY SOURCES regarding any fellow human who is missing and whose area of disappearance we can access. Better than ruminating. I've ruminated a lot but I've only been to Amherst and Hadley a few times lately by myself and to Haverhill once recently with company. The Haverhill trip almost paralyzed 3 of us when we sensed so stronly where Maura was and what she had done (headed for the woods out of depression like her dad initially feared, and as Billy expressed soon thereafter, his feeling --- "she is no longer with us"). You get that feeling when you realize someone was in despair and determined to leave this life surrounded by mementos from beloved family. When the accident(s) and/or situation (bus driver, LE alerted) took away the possibility of a motel room, you do whatever you have to in order to fulfill your plan before you or someone else stops you. This is just my opinion, altho it reminds me of an old poster --- was it doc who? It just took me many more years to arrive there myself. Again, I'll say that at the isolated, dead-end site Molly Bish disappeared it was easy to get the feeling, "Oh, my gosh, she is no longer with us." in the Haverhill area... it seems less likely. I wonder if the searchers from the recent search will ever release where they looked. Did they use dogs, anyone know? Another question.... |
Judged: 1 If I showed them video tapes, confessions, displayed the paper trail of funds... If I had every proof that 911 occurred exactly the way they said it did, they would hate me. Not even the most ardent 911 conspriacy theorist wants to hear the real truth, EVEN if it supports his circumstantial theories. Why? Because he is out of a job, so to speak. He is left with ordinary, day-to-day reality. His bubble of being victimized as a renegade, as someone who KNOWS the truth, those days are over, even though he has been proven correct. He would rather keep the drama unsolved than move along after the drama has been solved. Same for those claiming to look for Maura Murray. This is nothing more than a little cottage industry on the side of the road. This is like selling a few hot dogs at a ballgame. There are real people out there with many, many times the ability of so-called PI's who could have this thing wrapped up in a month, maybe less. They are there and they can be found and then the mystery would be over once and for all. But, of course, that's the rub, isn't it? What would you do with no dramatic mystery. |

Hello all,
Sorry about this, but now I´m quitting this board for good after the recent onslaughts by a certain poster here. I´ve had enough. And this time, I´m most certainly not coming back. I don´t even feel like reading the posts here anymore. Perhaps other discontented posters on this forum may feel like joining me on Websleuths? All the best, Euro |
Judged: 1 I specifically excepted you and Wowzer, not that you wouldn't still take offense, but you two actually DO something and have something to SHOW for it. There may be a few others I have forgotten, but you get the idea. I am speaking of the people who constantly shift the discussion into the land of the vague and contradictory just to confuse everyone else. Their whole plan is to make sure no discussion takes place that is organized and actually makes real progress. |

Oh, I forgot to honor Susan Kleciak.
