Not only that, we had an online discussion about whether or not she should call you (Quija, you're a she, right? LOL sometimes it's hard to tell with screen names!) and would A. feel intruded upon.

I think Beagle's crossed the line with the stuff he's googled and has been saying about my family and where they work, etc. He's gotta stop that. It's way out of line (also pretty way-out). I sure wish I had friends here to jump in and help! I feel threatened (for my family) by these posts and don't understand if it's just thoughts or a real threat. Guess no-one's online who will help?

There is information out there about everyone on the internet. Lord knows, there is a newspaper article about me floating around where I was misquoted and quite frankly I was made to look like a total jackass. Does wonders when I think about men whom might be interested in asking me for a date. Again Googling is a way of life these days.

With all due respect, that's usually as far as it goes. If your family has worked and lived normal and fairly mundane lives they will pick up on anything abnormal and one shouldn't hesitate to contact the authorities. Stalking and trespassing are serious matters.

Q...I won't say you are foolish...my Mom told me never to pet or feed stray dogs unless I was going to take it to the vet first. Please ignore.....people who get their kicks out of annoying others should be ignored. When they are not achieving any joy in doing so, he will move on to try to get attention from someone else.

If you are genuinely concerned or worried, print out all...and hand carry to a Police Officer you trust.
At least it will be formally documented, for your peace of mind.

This Topix started out ALL about Maura...and that is where is should have remained. It is a shame that some don't understand that.

hi all .i think only Maura knows if she had unpacked after christmas break.it was reported that she packed up her room before she left.so there is no fact on that.was Billy the one who said things had been taken from the walls . WHEN was the picture of Maura in what looks like her dorm room with Billy taken. would he know how the room should look.Euro, on the last Maura Murray forum it was said that that bend in the road just beyond the weathered barn had seen other accidents in the past.take care philip

When I jumped on the ole soapbox back home and things began to take on a momemtum it always seemed that the extermists and screwballs would come out of the woodwork. My desire to continue on in politics faded because of this

However, I will put up with it for the missing and remembered.

Elsewhere and Shack, thank you both for responding to my frantic posts. I don't think I've sent out an S.O.S. like this since my folks died. I'm extremely grateful to you both. I'm naive, too friendly, and have been made to look like a jackass so often that if I weren't married I'd never get a date! I think this'll be OK now. Didn't want to sign off until I told you how much I appreciate this. I won't forget it.

Report on the "Raykel" matter.

I had called the church in VT and left a message. The church did not call me back. Presumably they called the NHSP, because a detective with NHSP is who called me back. I have no problem with that whatsoever -- the goal here was to find out if "Raykel" amounted to a possible sighting of Maura, and it is totally proper for the police to follow up on that. We didn't know if it had been followed up on; the detective who talked with me took the information I had about this "Raykel" incident and told me it would be looked into. He was quite pleasant and polite, and told me that in a case such as this, clearly someone knows something and any suggestions and tips from the public are welcomed.

That sounds positive Advocator. I wonder why the Church wouldn't have called back though? Maybe they have been asked before and the authorities told them to notify them if it happened again. Just a guess.

On another note, sounds like things may be peacefull in here for a month. I don't mind Beagle, i just scroll by when he forgets to take his pills. But you all played right into Quijas hand. She succeeded in drawing attention to herself. Not being mean, but simply observing.

Yep, and the detective had to call all the way to Arizona to reach me ... Maura's case is known practically "coast to coast".

Well, it sounds a little mean to me, but yes, I got the attention/support that was really needed last night from several kind posters here. Don't know if you understood all the references to my husband, his brother, their workplaces, etc. in Beagle's posts (because you'd have to know the names)--- and the posts were intense and frightening. I always liked Beagle and it seems to be resolved now.
