hi Ben and all with all due respect,if Maura was in the saturn on feb 09 04 she either took off or was grabbed.personally i am thinking the saturn was simply left there either due to time constraints or someone getting stuck in the snow.i dont believe someone tried to make it look like an acccident.i dont think the point of any forum is to find Maura by posting all the facts.it just cannot happen here.might as well post them on a tree on 112 and let anyone see them

No wonder the report was held back from public view, it doesn't jive with the publicly reported time frame!

Converting AM/PM to 24 Hour Clock

For the first hour of the day (12 Midnight to 12:59 AM), subtract 12 Hours
Examples: 12 Midnight = 0:00, 12:35 AM = 0:35

From 1:00 AM to 12:59 PM, no change
Examples: 11:20 AM = 11:20, 12:30 PM = 12:30

From 1:00 PM to 11:59 PM, add 12 Hours
Examples: 4:45 PM = 16:45, 11:50 PM = 23:50

Converting 24 Hour Clock to AM/PM

For the first hour of the day (0:00 to 0:59), add 12 Hours, make it "AM"
Examples: 0:10 = 12:10 AM, 0:40 = 12:40 AM

From 1:00 to 11:59, just make it "AM"
Examples: 1:15 = 1:15 AM, 11:25 = 11:25 AM

From 12:00 to 12:59, just make it "PM"
Examples: 12:10 = 12:10 PM, 12:55 = 12:55 PM

From 13:00 to 23:59, subtract 12 Hours, make it "PM"
Examples: 14:55 = 2:55 PM, 23:30 = 11:30 PM

LvsNH is of course correct.

2400 and 0 hour is the same time.

Also military time is never written with the colons.

i.e. 7:00PM is written 1900hrs. It is called nineteen hundred hours but it is still based on 60 minutes. Very simple, if it is greater than 1300 then subtract 1200 if it is less than 1300 then read as is. If it is less then 1200 then it is AM if it is greater than 1200 it is PM.

Ex.
1259hrs it is less than 1300 so read it as is. It is greater than 1200 so it is 12:59PM

1406hrs it is greater than 1300 so subtract 1200 leaving 2:06 it is greater than 1200 so it 2:06PM

0105hrs it is less than 1300 so read it as is. It is less than 1200 so it is 1:05AM

Paris, the only thing that gets divided into 100ths are seconds.(e.g., 19:50:59 being a hundredth of a second shy of 19:51) The minutes in military time are just like regular minutes. They'd simply go nuts if they tried to do that.

So the ambulance arrived very close to 8PM.

FireCat I'm not sure where you heard that. 19:50:59 is one second shy of 1951hrs. The military still uses 60 seconds in a minute in its time. The only thing that uses hundredths that I am aware of is the splitting of seconds. They use hundredths of a second i.e. 19:59:23.43 It is rare to see that as a time except when actually timing things with electronic equipment and only then when there is actually a reason to do so.

A better example would have been 19:59:23.89 Notice the decimal point after the 23 second mark. In another .11 seconds (eleven hundredths of a second) it would turn over to 19:59:24

Hope this makes sense.

Hours is straightforward. With the minutes it's taking the 60 minute rule (60 mins. per hour) and applying it to a base of 100.

In other words, you take the number of the second and divide it by 60 [in fractions, the number 60 is the number of minutes in an hour and .60 is the "multiplier" and is a 100th fraction (two to the right of the decimal)]. Example: 30 seconds is 30/60 or 1/2. 1/2 expressed as a fraction is .5 (or spoken five tenths) which is the same as .50 (spoken fifty hundredths).

The chart is:

01 = 1/60 =.0167 (rounded =.02)
02 = 2/60 =.0333 (.03)
03 = 3/60 =.0500 (.05)
04 = 4/60 =.0667 (.07)
05 =.0833 (.08)
06 =.1 (.10)
07 =.1167 (.12)
08 =.1333 (.13)
09 =.1500 (.15)
10 =.1667 (.17)
11 =.1833 (.18)
12 =.2 (.20)- You should start recognizing the pattern so I'll round from this point.
13 =.22
14 =.23
15 =.25
16 =.27
17 =.28
18 =.30
19 =.32
