Hopefully, someone else saw them and reported it to LE. Even if it was someone's idea of a sick joke.

I too agree that Kur'ts poem tells a lot. When it was first posted on the MMM site, we were instructed not to discuss it. Whether we knew her or not, it's probably time to admit that Maura really is the All American Girl, with all kinds of conflicting emotions, bottled-up resentments, lots of love and the usual confusion.(I'm not a poet like Kurt is, but what he wrote makes Maura a more real human being IMHO.) I hope she's OK.

Since this is a public forum maybe it's time that it gets discussed. I am beginning to wonder why the truth is not welcome or wanted by some here and why when it comes to her previous life and her family it is taboo. I'm starting to sound like Whiston.

I did not accuse you of lying! Why would someone make something like that up. It is someone who owns property in your town and pays taxes who made that claim. And it wasn't Shack, I'll be damned if you drag her into this.

I know who said it and if it doesn't seem strange that no one else saw panties under that tree even though it was claimed that other people went to look after it was mentioned then they must all be um not telling the truth too.

I bet if I said I saw 3 men dressed in black trench coats with guns sticking out of their pockets all huddled around that tree with the blue ribbon there would be no doubts that I was telling the truth.

All you have ever done is look inward at yourself rather than looking outward. Maura was a beautiful young tourist, 5'7", 120 pounds, and twenty two years of age when she went missing.

Instead of considering the possiblity of her being victim you look inward at yourself and weigh the possibilities on how you are treated.

I just got finished reading an article where Montreal treats all of their missing persons as homicides. It really is a crying shame that every state here in the US does not. Thus far Nevada is the only one. This is a crying shame.

It is almost five years and Maura's SS#, credit cards, and banks accounts have remained untouched. She has not contacted her family.

But yet and all people are still considering the runaway theory.

I was at the tree several weeks back and saw the little red ribbon. My thought was I wish I knew who put it up so I could thank them.

I was WRONG about the Year that NHSP retrieved items from the Murray family. It was June 2004...NOT 2005.
A friend with better notes and records corrected me...The family only had the items from February 2004 to June 2004. My apologies for being
"absent without memory"...(The original Maura Murray Forum started in November 2004...and I didn't join until the Spring of 2005)

I'm going to list a timeline here. This is a very important timeline, and I'm referring to everyone reading this (Shack?), so pay very close attention to the dates. And the YEAR. This year has been corrected before but it has been ignored.

2004, May 29 - Maura's dorm items and computer retrieved from her dorm room by family.

2004, June 15 - Fred Murray files 1st Freedom of Information Act.

2004, June 22 - Fred Murray is informed that Major Crimes is involved in Maura's case.(hope!)

2004, June 25 - SIU of Major Crimes (State Police) go to the home of Maura's sister and retrieve items for which there is a signed receipt.

At the same time, the computer is retrieved. Receipt of the computer, by NH State Police, is NOT noted.

The items in Maura's dorm remained there until May 29th, 2004. Fred Murray had the hope that she would return. A parent's hope. He left her items in the dorm so they would be there when she returned.

What does one have if you don't have hope? You don't have a daughter. As Sharon has said, you lose your luggage, you don't lose a child.

Fred Murray has been played like a fiddle.

What you guys see above is a SMALL select group from the area. This group here do not represent the majority of comments and thoughts from the fine citizens where Maura Murray went missing.

Those individuals dare not post on here because, as has already been experienced by a poster here, they will have to endure the WRATH of posters as represented above.

For those reading and that aren't from the area, please know that the majority of fine citizens show compassion and concern for the Murray family.

Maura spent extended amounts of time at the home of Billy. Sharon has confirmed, with me last year, that while at their home, Maura would do her laundry, and, yes, she wore underwear.

Underwear was not included on the inventory.
