Actually, I need to clarify what I just posted. In Maura's luggage, were bra's for jogging and for everyday wear. Panties were not on the inventory.

Or maybe what you see is a SMALL select group of attack ducks who may or may not be from the area, who are all out enforce to exert their WRATH.

Maura was a beautiful young tourist, 5'7", 120 pounds, and twenty two years of age when she went missing. Instead of considering the possiblity of her being victim you look inward at yourself and weigh the possibilities on how you are treated. It's great that you got a flat and some nice people stopped to help. Are you young, beautiful, 5'7", 120 pounds? I just got finished reading an article where Montreal treats all of their missing persons as homicides. It really is a crying shame that every state here in the US does not. Thus far Nevada is the only one. This is a crying shame. It is almost five years and Maura's SS#, credit cards, and banks accounts have remained untouched. She has not contacted her family. But yet and all people are still considering the runaway theory. Whose Whack????????? What the heck are you talking about elsewhere? Looking inward/looking outward. Huh? I never said it wasn't a possibility that she was a victim but I think it's also a possibility that she wasn't. Read the poem again elsewhere, it tells s story by someone that obviously loves her. I think that both possibilties should be looked at if the truth is ever to be found. I may not be quite as young and beautiful as I was and no I don't weigh 120 lbs but there are a couple of women that would fit that description that jog these roads everyday safely. They seem happy as they run by. Like it or not I am here the same as others and that is to help find Maura but some of you are certainly going about it in a strange way.

Yes LG...and appreciate you and friend setting me straight..again sorry..it was unintentional. and..Inflections are so easily determined here... Hard to believe.... Although, again it is simplistic..nobody wants to find out that perhaps Maura was murdered in their Haverhill area. Guess it is basic defensive human nature. Can't say that I blame them. There's been enough crime there for the last 4 years. I am sure that they have had it. We all want this crime solved. Tyson..thinking of you....

Wowzer wrote: <quoted text> I asked a while back who the person was that saw the underware at the bottom of the tree. I then asked the person when she came forward if she had taken pictures or told any LE and she stated no. I asked this for a reason. When I first saw this stated on the old site I could'nt believe it as I went by the tree all the time and always looked there and never saw any clothing.I drove that same day to the tree with a friend and we saw no clothing. I asked two people that I know would have noticed and they also said they never saw any underwear or clothing. This has bothered me for quite some time but now I don't really care if I get slammed for stating the truth as I see it about this. There WAS clothing found on the other end of 112 in the vicinity of split rock and I did see a bra hanging from a tree and clothing on the ground. There was also a garbage bag a little further away with what looked like more clothing in it. To me it looked like it fell out of someone's pickup. It was also being picked up by what looked like LE so someone must have reported it and it was checked out even if some think LE just sits around doing nothing. I was the person who found the underwear at the base of the tree that weekend, but I knew very little about Maura and the search at that time. It was when I first learned of it and I was actually investigate a picture of someone else which had been rudely placed on the tree also. The picture was disturbing to me..........and I didn't know about the underwear found in other parts. When I returned to remove the picture, the underwear was gone.....apparently someone else took it.

Wowzer wrote: <quoted text> Evidently by your last sentence you think I am lying. Good enough. If you would rather believe the drama and fabrications that's up to you. This is exactly why I never volunteered information on the MMM site. And I also remember the Liko sign story. I also got out and took a look. Another important fact elsewhere... I do not lie or make up stories!!! I was actually walking the dog when I discovered it---not in a vehicle. And yes, it was when Liko Kenny's picture showing a sign of victory was posted on the tree.

I would like to see the reactions of these citizens as to whether they agree or not. I don't think it's the general consensus. This would all, of course, be with the understanding that it's confidential. I think it would be best if it it's researched by the Caledonian.

sophie bean wrote: I intended to stay away, but the level of absurdity is far too great to be ignored. White Wash, you are well aware that - "They have told Fred all they can just because Fred doesn't like it does not mean they have not told him!"- is not true. Fred sued for the release of PUBLIC documents. I understand that you are perfectly comfortable with the idea that the general public, including NH residents and taxpayers, should not be able to obtain or even view PUBLIC documents, and that those PUBLIC documents can and should be exclusively viewed / obtained by those who claim press credentials if they are chummy with LE and / or PUBLICALLY ELECTED officals. And PLEASE - "Fred is/was suing the ENTIRE STATE. Seriously do some research on what really could happen here!" - are you actually saying that suing a government is something that should never be done because "bad things could happen"? If so, thanks in advance for proving the point that I make below. However, this remains a democracy with representative government which is, whether you happen to like it or not, responsible and accountable to the citizens who elected these officials. Since the state of NH was found to be unlawfully witholding this access to citizens, it is completely irrelevant that you happen to feel that citizens shouldn't have that access, and the state of NH was sued quite appropriately. I will say once again that the level of outrage at the notion that citizens would even consider questioning "the big guys" and their pals, to say nothing of actually questioning them, says a great deal about the climate of NH - both the fact that "the big guys" and their pals feel untouchable and the fact that citizens, as nearly as we can tell, feel that "the big guys" are untouchable. Lest this seem "too harsh" and "unflattering to locals" - as I understand it, and please correct me only if the things I state as fact are in error - the "restaurant" which recently changed management in Woodsville, the one which was fairly openly running various illegal and dangerous operations on and from the premises, is within a poor pitcher's stone's throw from an elementary school. Please tell me if it is correct that this "restaurant" WAS known to be runing these activities. If that is not true, I have been mistaken, and I apologize for that. SopieBean, This was an excellent post!

I gave my opinions as many others here do and tried to give some true facts which wasn't excepted very well. Because all of this time I have defended my area and my neighbors against lies, accusatory remarks and name calling does that make me a spokesperson for the area. I think not. When did I ever say I was speaking on behalf of the area. Gosh the attack ducks are sure lively tonight. Lady Gray wrote:****I think it would be a great idea for an area media source to go around and read to the area citizens, the sentiments that are expressed on here and I would like for them to see the manner in which they are expressed.....with the venom and hatred that is portrayed.**** Are you for real?? The venom and hatred to the area citizens is certainly not coming from me. It wasn't me calling the people all kinds of digusting names on a public forum. Yes that just might be a grand idea Lady Gray but you can be sure when the reporter comes to my house (which I'll make sure that he will) he will get not only an earful of what some of you think of the area citizens but he will also get proof of all the horrid things that were said about us including the slanderous remarks made by some and using the immediate area people's names in these slanderous remarks. Lady Gray can you answer this? Is this how you go about trying to find out what happened to Maura because it seems to me that when someone comes along that just might be able to actually help they are chased away by the attack ducks. Why????

Lady Gray, I am local and among many whom do not feel or have ever felt attacked....let it go..it does not represent the majority of the citizenry of Haverhill and area.Do not bend toward this unbased criticism. There are those whom speak loudly with their cruel words that only reflect upon themselves.

Hi, I'm Andy Rooney. Ben Franklin told me that you wanted a reporter to go up into Grafton County. That's a good Idea Lady Anne. I think it would be a great idea for me to go around and read to the area citizens, questions I have yet to ask on 60 minutes. I would like for them to be seen in the manner in which I express them before editing... Why do they call an Orange an Orange but they don't call a Bananna a Yellow? They should call raspberries small purple bumpies. What is the correct response to I $hit you not? Thank you for $hitting me not? Clearly if someone $hat you, you'd know it. The other day I went to the market and picked up a bell pepper and shook it...it didn't make any sound. Who ever thought of the expression $hit eating grin? Why would anyone grin after such an activity?

What purpose would he have had to stop at the dorm?
