And maybe some people involved in this trade take a step or two further on their own and include something a little stronger when they approach the gym owner or the local health food store. Benjamin Franklyne wrote: OK - so this is interesting, to say the least. In many respects. Not really new however. As for Elsewhere briefly - all I recall him saying was something to the effect that he doesn't always agree with White Wash - but he has found accuracy as to White Wash's statements about facts. **There is no reason to condemn him for that.** And yes - he and I have had our disagreements. Significant disagreements - but on his being condemned for this - well I stand with Elsewherebriefly on this one. More interesting - is that while Elsewherebriefly was, in fact, speaking more in terms of evidence known to be relevant - I'm surprised that the apparent outrage was not greater about the multiple pages of content by which the relevance has yet to be ascertained. Secondly - as far as I know - no one knows what happened to Maura. We are here to try to figure out what happened. Given the facts - a whole variety of things could have happened. Some dad or mom could stomach reading - some mom or dad might not, and some in between. Just because a scenario is stated as possible - or a person believes it most likely - doesn't make it an attack on Maura - they are simply possible explanations for the set of facts - and if anyone should be angry at anything - it should be at the lack of facts available. Now - Eurobserver and I happen to disagree slightly on weather Maura had anything to do with Vasi. I just don't happen to think so - but I do see that it could be possible. What I think is more possible - and very important possibility to consider - and that Eurobserver helped me come to realize - is that the Saturn could have received its prior damage on the drive up North. Prior damage does not involve Vasi in this situation. The math shows that if the Saturn was taken up the state roads - the car would have been driven at speeds higher then what the road is designed for - and this would lead to other earlier drive away accidents prior to the final one. By no means am I saying that Maura was in that car. The theory I have for the secret boyfriend possibility ignores prior damage. But truth be told - I don't think there was prior damage. But truth also be told - I know I'm not qualified to asses this - but I do know who is - and three cops debating in a break room aren't qualified either - unless they were engineers - or they retained engineers. We don't know who helped with that.(Here's something Elsewherebriefly will disagree with - and I think he has the right to.) My theory of a secret boyfriend involves two possibilities: a predator that was charming (Like the hillside strangler) or legitimate and that she started a new life. I also think she could have been kidnapped or Murdered at Amhurst by two people - one that at least looked like Maura. This is what I think is most likely - ties in with earlier radio reports - pings - the family not seeing ATM Liquor store videos. Not checking for blood evidence (assumed) because Maura was believed to be in New Hampshire - Mr. Atwood's maybe. The family's belief that she wouldn't just take off. Someone that knew her well enough could have lied to her about the death in the family - your dad called while you were (somewhere) and he said uncle/Aunt (someone) died and he wants you to go (somewhere)- waits for phone calls and emails and strikes (Part 1) I have always believed that what ever happened to Maura began in Amherst. I don't believe she left Amherst on her own free will.

hi Lady Grey and all.oil change stickers show mileage and location that are paid for with cash or credit cards. If the saturn was worked on over the christmas break ,it is on file on the sticker which was put there by the garage and then removed from the windshield. maybe they fixed the lights, if they were fixed.AS for the junk mail .Did Maura get an email or mail on Monday feb o9 from a ski resort in V.T or New Hampshire, offering winter deals, ,i dont know. But something happened in MAURAS PRIOR LIFE IN AMHERST OR BEFORE that caused her to vanish .i think we all agree she attended school in Amherst.i think we can all agree she is gone. Her life was in AMHERST .Why she left may tell us where she is .One more thought ,what if the saturn was damaged by someone in C.T. or M.A. over the christmas break.Lady Grey i dont want to get into a back and forth with you about somethig that is a theory.ALL THEORY IS GOOD UNTIL IT IS PROVEN WRONG. TAKE CARE PHILIP

Wowzer...... Haverhill minutes of meetings back in 04 tell of damaged vehicle and repair. CS lied about a few things in the few days after Maura went missing. These are facts and are the truth. He even stated he didn't go looking for Maura that night because he didn't know the area that well!!!...Why doesn't a cop know his area he works in?

From cell web site: I called my friend last night and the phone just rang and rang. Then voice mail came on. So I was pretty much stood up. The guy called today and told me that his cell phone battery had died. He has an old cell phone and I'm not sure if he is telling the truth. When you call a cell phone and it's battery is dead doesn't it just go straight to voicemail? No, it does not always go straight to voice mail! There is a timer that the providers set in their network called T3212. It can be set anywhere from 6 minutes to 24 hours (most providers have it set anywhere from one hour to four hours). Anyway, this timer is like a "roll call". Let's say that it's set to four hours. If your mobile does absolutely nothing for four hours, it automatically sends a message (it's almost like a SMS) to the network and tells it "I'm still here!" If the mobile doesn't send this message, and the four hours goes by, then the network will mark this mobile as "detached" which means that incoming calls will go directly to voice mail. But until the timer expires, the network thinks the mobile is still available and will try repeatedly to reach the mobile and, after eventually being unsuccessful, go to voicemail. What could have happened is that his mobile sent the message "I'm still here" to the network and that was just enough to kill the battery, so the network thought he was still online for the next four hours, when his battery was actually dead. So, maybe give him the benefit of the doubt this one time. Mobile networks are very complicated things... PS By the way, when you turn your mobile off, before it actually turns off, it sends a different message to the network, saying "I'm off now, if anyone calls, don't try to reach me, go straight to voice mail." So that's different from the battery dying. With the above information LE would know whether or not Maura's cell phone was turned off. We know from the original forum that Kathleen and Tammy tried to reach Maura in the immediate days following her disappearance and the phone rang for a period of time before it went to voice mail. I don't know if they were able to leave voice messages which would be very helpful to know if her voice mailbox was full..... If her phone sent a detached signal, when and where did that occur? Does anyone know the length of time Sprint/Samsung sets the default timer for the roll call? Based on what info we have it appears the phone remained charged for a long period of time, but out of cell service because of the ping call, and subsequent calls from family/friends. But of course LE knows all of this.

Eurobserver wrote: Esteemed fellow posters, As a free-flowing debate is apparently quite out of the question on this board I hereby take my leave and wish you all the best. Goodbye. Sincerely, Euro Don't know where you have been lately Euro. This has been the pattern with a few of these people for years. I don't waste my time here either except to watch the stupidity. My favorites are the ones clearly driving the forum in the direction they want. It’s blatant; they don’t even attempt to hide it anymore. So either post without care to what those two say or you will not be heard. Use it as a catharsis to rage against the foolishness. While others are daily trying to put together ideas and scenarios that might make sense they just sit and lob hand grenades over the wall. Then everyone goes for another week trying to establish the stupidity of what the person said, of course to no avail but such a tremendous waste of time. Maura will be found not through anything done on this board but when some evidence shows up. While I think after 4 years of listening to what little we know about what happened, regardless of what some of the smaller unsophisticated minds say, I feel to my satisfaction I know what likely happened that night. I will wait and pay attention to see if anything new comes out but arguing with these people is such a timewaster. Life is too short. Let the people who have nothing but free time and no other skill set, two immediately (S&S) come to mind, start arguing with themselves. So either post without worrying about acceptance of your ideas or don’t waste your time posting. B.

Whoooooooooooooooooooooa! I just to be clear I did not post any such information! 1. I know that Ford indeed did not make a 4 door Bronco! 2. I know where the Police Dept has their Rigs repaired. 3. I know who the current owner is. Wowzer wrote: <quoted text> No need to dig for the post elsewhere. Thank you for verifying the suv was cleared. Elsewhere it's ok not to agree with someone all the time. It's knowing how to disagree with courtesy and respect that I think we could all take a lesson in, myself included.

Is there any actual ebidence that Brian Rooney was in the area on Feb 9, 2004? I have heard people say that he might have been there. If he was, he is more than capable of abduction and murder - as he's been convicted and sentenced for murdering Michelle Gardner-Quinn in Burlington. If he was actually in the area at that time, I'd say that's worth strongly considering. A lot more plausible than the secret boyfriend scenario.
