What is important about that, is that, the same question was raised by the Westmans. One thought they saw a man, the other thought they saw a woman... Ben, this is an interesting (and strangely coincidental) point. You've made quite a few, and they are NEW ones! Each time I studied the POI pics or videos in Jennifer Kesse's disappearance, I got a different sense about that person: petite or muscular? male or female? 5'4 or 5'9? Posters spent a tremendous amount of time photoshopping and analyzing those pics, and it's sad that even with images of a POI, there have not been answers in her case. As for the Westmans' observations, it could be that the person's gender was ambiguous here too. But I'm stuck in the rut of thinking it's the typical differences in witness impressions. This happens in our family all the time and I'm ready to put it about #5 on the list of why people divorce. Keep thinking of new stuff, Ben, and maybe you'll shake some of us out of our rigid stances!!!

I'd like to think of this group as one happy family: the EvilDoerGettersons, because we're going to get the Evildoers that do the Evil deeds they Do.
Firecat, get your fluffy tail back here and help me gramat-tat-tize my words coreectly and spell my sentences - I've been granted title to a bad English deed. Or something.
Boy I'm waking up way to early to go to continuing education.

Thanks for the answers Lady Gray. So it is a fairly substantial backpack as I thought. Pretty typical of what the kids use in High school and college. Actually have seen a fair number of that manufacturers' product around. Thanks, B.

In reading about Christopher Gray's murder in Haverhill, NH, I couldn't help feeling the ache of his Mother..and, of course his relatives and friends. Also, as has been written by people of the area, they are all sickened. Imagine this same ache for Fred and Laurie, and family...not being able to hug Maura anymore. The following isn't rational....I don't care.....just wistful thoughts...perhaps, maybe one of those many aching hearts in that area knows somebody, who knows somebody, who knows something about Maura....and now understands and now feels the need to talk.....maybe....

I just lost a long post where I tried to put together the time line whiston was working on that placed Maura near the weathered barn closer to 7:12PM than 7:27. I think it was whiston and/or another poster who also placed CS's vehicle there earlier (need to check those posts --- darn no search function here). CS was driving the back roads like Goose Lane and was witnessed by a Cottage Hospital Worker. Swiftwater Store, French Pond Road, maybe even Valley Road (?) were cruised at some point by CS and Atwood. Monahan was in the area too as Robinsorday said. She also said in one post that she wasn't sure if there was one person or two in the red pickup truck. I'm wondering if things happened in a different sequence than I thought. Could Maura have pulled off quietly (before the later noise Westmans' heard) front-end first onto Old Peter's Road to check directions, cell phone, or car damage and could an abductor have approached her there? Another poster who can ID self if desired had strong speculation that Maura was abducted at the weathered barn area by the perp. Maybe the perp told her that her Saturn was blocking Old Peters Road and he'd move it for her (or she should) by backing it out onto 112 a ways. CS knew that liquor was missing from the Saturn and he arrived/returned at 7:46. Weeper had an opinion about something (accident) happening a mile or more away, which seemed (can't find post) to be in the direction CS's, Monahan's and Atwood's searching was. There has to be another witness who saw something happen, maybe saw the red truck (before RO told this to Monahan another day). Atwood may have known something was seriously wrong and that's why he stayed outside in the bus, maybe asked by CS to watch the road. I think his reported statements were not true and designed to protect the investigation (idea from another poster). He may have stayed outside in the bus to talk to CS again and help. Atwood seemed very energized for a late-middle-aged, overweight, after-a-long-day-of-work man who talked about "running back to the house" in a way that seems to indicate something more important going on than a broken-down car. He cruised quite a distance after talking to CS looking for "a girl" who hadn't been gone very long --- how could she get so far on foot?, so I think he was looking for the perp's vehicle. I think the area he "searched" is critical to who they suspect. Can people help me put this jumbled idea together? A poster (who again can ID self if desired) didn't think it was Maura who Atwood spoke to and had good reasons for why Atwood wouldn't ID this person. That statement plus whiston's "new time line" posts made me think the events of that night might've happened in a different order.

I was always under the impression that Atwood stated “he ran into the house” figuratively meaning from the bus when it was parked in front of the door to his house. At least that is the way I have always interpreted what he said. Not that he ran down the road in a 100 yard dash like his hair was on fire which by all descriptions he was ill equipped to perform. hi Quija and all.the cottage hospital witness saw the vehicle that sgt Smith was driving 0n feb 09 2004 parked near the saturn at least 15 minutes before mrs Westman called 911.He reported he had just come from a call on Petticoat Lane. Was he there twice, i dont know. The information about the cottage hospital witness came here through Weeper.I assume it was checked out by the P.I.s.If mrAtwwod had a problem getting through to 911 because of reported line problems how and why could sgt Smiths vehicle be at the saturn before mrsWestman called. She stayed on the phone with 911 until sgtSmiths vehicle arrived, for a second time, if we believe the witness from cottage hospital.does anyone locally know what happened to the suicidal youth that sgtSmith went to assist after he left the saturn at the weathered barn. Was he a local or was he in some kind of treatment getting help .Did he really exist at all .I have heard that sgt Smith found nothing at the electrical tower on or near lime kiln rd.and also that sgt Smith followed the ambulance to cottage hospital.anyone know the facts .take care philip

philip, this witness whom weeper refers to is reliable and has informative information. The suicidal youth was returned before he followed through with his threat. Maybe you are not aware, but calls are common to this school that care for disadvanted youth...they stick very close to procedure...call even if it is false alarm. Most of the students are from out of state.

But... you're probably right, just his way of describing it... Do you think there's any question about the time the Saturn was seen there?

I just noticed Anne posted and knows about the school.

Just out of curiosity, what's the name of the school?(I'm thinking of relocating to the area within the next couple of years, and that's one of the nursing certifications I hold):)

"CS was driving the back roads like Goose Lane and was witnessed by a Cottage Hospital Worker. Swiftwater Store, French Pond Road, maybe even Valley Road " Just a clarification here---Goose Lane is actually not a back road--its actually the same road the hospital is on and connects onto French Pond Rd at its other end--for the area, those are actually pretty well traveled roads. Valley is off of French Pond--but also is pretty frequently travelled as a cut through to French Pond Rd and Goose Lane. Its not unreasonable to think LE would be on those roads in their travels.

Sorry to intrude here with this, but I was just looking at the latest thread about Floyd, and "Wowzer's" attitude toward me HERE is apparently the result of his (her?) completely unfounded, incorrect and crazy allegation that I am Liko Kenney's aunt. I have no idea where Wowzer got this idea, but if this is Wowzer's level of knowledge, we can dismiss anything Wowzer happens to say here. Unbelievable!

OK, well, I was prett angry about Wowzer's nonsense, but in the long run, the big picture, it's really quite interesting. Wowzer has apparently "concluded" (for lack of a better term) that, because I think that NH AG Kelly Ayotte acted illegally and prematurely by declaring the second shooter on May 11 to be guilt-free (never mind that it's a fact), that I am Liko Kenney's aunt. This should tell us quite a bit about Wowzer's cognitive and investigative abilities. I can completely understand how anyone related to McKay would be very upset at his murder by Liko Kenney (note my use of the word "murder" please), but it's a whole other level to call McKay's murder of Floyd jusitifable and to "accuse" someone from 200 miles away of defending Kenney (which I pointedly have not done, quite the opposite) of being related to him. If this nonsense is in any way reflective of the level of "investigation" in Grafton County, there really is nothing else that needs to be said about it, because it is indefensible by any standard.

Obviously, I meant Kenney's murder by Floyd. I'm sorry, but Wowzer's "accusation" in every thread where I've posted for the last day has me a bit angry.

Thanks for posting this back then, Wowzer. What a good reminder to not say things intended to be "damaging" without proof. Gosh, if you could post a sign on the back of my vehicle notifying NH residents "this is Liko Kenney's AUNT! do what seems best to you!!!" - I'm sure that you would. Good thing for me, I guess, that I live more than 200 miles from Franconia, have no relatives there, and don't drive anywhere near it. Wowzer wrote: <quoted text> No need to dig for the post elsewhere. Thank you for verifying the suv was cleared. I think keeping facts separated from fiction is important. When someone makes such a damaging statement as Reality Check did and states it as fact they should have proof before they put it on a public forum. Elsewhere it's ok not to agree with someone all the time. It's knowing how to disagree with courtesy and respect that I think we could all take a lesson in, myself included.

looking4...the following is only one of several sites about Becket School http://www.becket.org/schools/east_haverhill_... Sophie, just shake your head and snicker. And, think amusing thoughts about genetic testing in Haverhill. Ya know, "I'm my own grampaaah". Perhaps some of the residents are just plain angry because we know about so many criminal activities in the area. Maybe it has just been that way and they accept it. They don't want "outsiders" knowing their business.

I don't know, Shack, I'm losing my sense of humor about it - as if I ever had any - and I'm pretty sickened by the casual, completely irresponsible spreading of lies this easily disproved by LSD etc to those as gullible as Wowzer. If I lived in Franconia and was easily identifiable, I hate to think what some of the locals would do "hey, look, it's Liko Kenney's aunt! she picked on Mr Floyd!!!" - which is, obviously, precisely LSD's and Wowzer's intent. That kind of makes me draw a number of less-than-flattering conclusions about some - NOT ALL - of the local residents. If anyone there, like Wowzer, is this eager to be manipulated by someone like LSD, who knows what could happen. Not very pretty.
