Hello all,
Just a thought; Could the red dot on the left headlight of Maura´s Saturn - as clearly seen in one of the photos of the car - be a paint mark from say a red truck? Any chance of this being so? What else could it be? |
Judged: 5 5 5 (perhaps that is changed since 2004) I am glad that the MMM Forum people still "hang in there" Weeper coined us the FIT...Forum Investigation Team. He is a member of the real TEAM.I know that when I write something...a question..or a thought, I know that none of the MMM foks are going to snarl at me. They stay because of the original intent, to try to help.(not going to list them...you all know who you are) Scooter, you asked about the attack ducks...they only attack sissy city people..like Citigirl and Sxxx ;-] |

Judged: 3 3 2 Curious! How is it you know what le has and has not done. Experience has shown me that le frequently and intelligently does not always show its hand. My intent is not to offend you in any way. I would say that I am new to this forum and have tried to read as much as I can about this. In doing so I have read alot. Many items I read are later contradicted. I understand frustration especially by he family, but to accuse le of being involved in disappearance seems unfair! Once again no offense is intended . |

Judged: 5 5 4 I respect and agree with your statement. LE frequently does not show their hand. But that has *NOT* been the case in this investigation. Please do your research and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. They have taken tangible, possibly incriminating evidence and thrown it to the side. This is a small-time, bottom-of-the-food-chain LE department filled with nobody's. This isn't the NYPD or the LAPD or the Boston PD. This department isn't filled with skilled detectives who have an extensive background and a plethora of experience in cases like this. We're talking about a county with THREE full-time officers working at the time of the accident. A quarter of a block in most cities would have more than three officers assigned to it. I can see why you'd say that, but that definitely does NOT apply in this case. For starters, they took THIRTY SIX hours to start searching for her. When they realized how badly they screwed that up, they tried to dismiss the case as a runaway/suicide. When all evidence points to that not being remotely close to a realistic scenario (based on what the people CLOSEST to her say, and they know her better than anyone in this forum), they start butting heads with the family. They REFUSED to interview dozens of people who live right next to the scene of the accident. They didn't interview these people because they are not showing their "hand" - they didn't interview them because this particular department is completely inept at handling a serious investigation. They have absolutely no idea what they are doing, and subsequently they have become skilled at trying to cover that ostensible fact up. Concrete evidence supports the fact that LE has been negligent, incompetent, irresponsible and dishonest in every single phase of this investigation, beginning with the 39-hour delay in searching for Maura and continuing to this very day with the mishandling/disappearance of tangible evidence. Judged: 1 "FIT" team members...I remember talking about this red dot on the MMMFORUM previously. Wasn't the conclusion it wasn't paint/blood/evidence? But what was it?? Wish we could get into that forum again for all these questions! |

Judged: 1 1 I didn't think researching temp plates would be like walking to the moon but obviously it is. So far I have found temporary plates in NH have been white w/red lettering although I haven't found a descrip. or photo of any since 2000. Commercial temps. tend to be all white w/black lettering from what I can tell. In addition, I just started reading a site stating Mass temp. plates are not allowed...then my battery went dead on my comp and the damn thing shut down. Can't find where I was.......love technology - really. Pffft! I'll keep at it if you guys think it's needed - |
I've read several posts that have stated she might not have unpacked her stuff since moving in several weeks earlier at the beginning of the semester. This raises the question whether she was sleeping in her room. You've raised a good point. |

I think knowing this is important - but I doubt any conspiracy that White Wash has done anything more then go to the court house and interview police. I think that Mason's discussion of distances adds to the little and incomplete information we know. Shack - thanks for the heads up re: who "Beach Bum" is. The blitzkreig reinforces the point of WTF-the-original's post #8995, Mason's #8994 points out balance that would be appropriate. Mason points out in #8901 that it was a MA plate on Red truck. Mason #8916 - For these same reasons I think both a murder at Amherst and delusional are possible - and attack ducks lead me to believe the latter, making #8918 interesting in that was perhaps intended to be "obvious" however I've never read those ideas. "Stupidity of law enforcement" is just inflammatory, designed to keep the focus at the crash site. Files were won in court, the court already applied the "pressure" on "law enforcement." Mason's #8925 is an appropriate reply. "It doesn't matter" is inconsistent with justice. Peripeteia, have a look at the documentary called "Why I Ran" in which a woman was delusional. However - I feel she could have been deceived as well. Whiston #8930 - good point on the little sleep received by Maura - makes me doubt further she made the drive. Peripeteia - I think it critically important if she in fact was seen Saturday and not Sunday. However - a following would happen if she was a part of a plan to fake a disappearance - no other circumstance do I believe. WTF-the-original #8939 - I am surprised to read now that you are an engineer and did not speak up earlier when I brought up that I thought the car did hit a tree. I have the exact conclusion you do - but have felt that I was not qualified to make a determination as I am not an engineer - however - Firecat #8950 - you say you are a professor - but couldn't find any engineering professors to answer my question about the hood damage. Your efforts could be better spent looking for answers rather then wearing pointy boots. #9017 Sorry Colombo - I suggest you follow the evidence and not someone else's lead. Mason #8956 - good questions about a Red Truck waiting - I agree if a Red Truck approached and picked up Maura - it was not a murderer, but a wisking away. However - due to the extreme driving up to the crash site - no way this was a wisking away. White Wash #8970 just what I recall that Harry said - "Cell chargers have a red glow." No cigarette ashes in car too. Firecat #8980 - How the heck did the car pass inspection on three cylenders? If it did - how the heck did the car get in that condition between October and prior to February? Wowzer #8988 - Guns pointed at YOU - REALLY? mcsmom #8998 - just tell us what you know before we have to guess. Mason #9012 - Did her roommate like the beach? Good point I forgot re:advocator's post about 8:15 key cards. |

Surely they have heard all of this by now - so not interviewing Mr. Atwood -(oh wait, they did) or the Westmans (Oh, they did that too...) or the M's (they did that)or searching for her (they did that)...is not a lack of knowledge (or intelligence a 5th grader would eventually catch on) ... so either they are just malicious, you completely misunderstand the situation, or something else is going on that only a few people really understand. I gather the latter is true. |
Judged: 1 A red truck with MA plates driven by a man apparently looking for someone on a Monday night in February certainly looks out of place. Apparently no one has seen it before that night or since. One poster on this site who uses the name BeagleBart has theorized that it may have been a tow truck that towed the Saturn. There are towing winches that are designed to fit in the back of a pickup truck that the operator can control without ever getting out of the cab, The driver backs up to the vehicle, hooks up to it in less than 30 seconds and drives off towing the vehicle. Repo dudes use them all the time. See messages 1112 @ p. 55, 1309 @ p. 65, 1514 @ p. 75. Was this guy looking for the Saturn? Did he tow it from Amherst to the 302/112 area so that an accident could be staged? Was he looking for the driver to pick her up and take her back to Amherst? Was this arranged to dump the Saturn far away from Amherst to conceal damage to the Saturn caused by running into Vasi? Did Maura ever leave Amherst? |

Judged: 4 4 4 You have a history of making exceptionally incompetent and profoundly stupid remarks, and you have once again lived up to your laughable reputation with this latest remark of yours. Either you are as pitifully stupid as your comments render you to be or you work in LE in the area yourself. You claim that they searched for her? Yes, they did, THIRTY NINE HOURS AFTER SHE WAS FIRST APPEARED TO BE MISSING YOU MORONIC IMBECILE. How stupid do you look. You also claim that they interviewed the neighbors? THEY NEVER INTERVIEWED THE NEIGHBORS. They questioned them to see where the driver went, and that was just for a few seconds. Even days later, they STILL did not interview the vast majority of the neighbors. And WHEN did they interview Rick Forcier? Explain this to me. THEY NEVER *INTERVIEWED* THE NEIGHBORS UNTIL IT WAS MUCH TOO LATE (including Rick Foricer, a man they waited MONTHS to properly interview). THEY DID NOT CONDUCT A SEARCH FOR THIRTY NINE HOURS AFTER THE ACCIDENT. Does it even cross your mind how blatantly stupid you look by making such inaccurately dumb statements? Either do your research or shut your mouth. Don't distort the facts to help your own interests. |

Is it common to pack up and move out for Christmas break? Maura was in the same dorm room the prior semester. |

I don't mean to be sarcastic about this but it would require individuals who knew her prior to the disappearance to speak up about her life, and it seems that no one from that time frame is saying much about what was happening. I don't revall having ever heard any results from the last search for Maura.....not even where it was conducted. Any hints? |
Judged: 1 1 ...strange Smith nor School Bus Driver went into the store to check to see if Maura was there.... |
