It's a big job...and time-consuming. I'm willing to help.
I, too, think it would be valuable to catalog theories, and organize facts and ideas according to topic...especially given the references to lost & sometimes found info. from the MMM forum.
Cross-referencing would be more difficult...perhaps a second step in the process.
If the "original" forum participants here think this duplicates any previous efforts or doesn't support goals, please advise.
At the very least, info might become more streamlined and 'readable'.
Agreed! Time consuming, BIG job is right. But like I said I'm willing to give it the best I can and if you along with anyone else can help we should get a good start. I also thought of it possibly being a duplicate effort, yet at the same time,if nothing else, going "in & out" of Topix can be a pain in the a@@ so may be worthwhile, imo. If anyone is against going forward with this idea, please say so and why you feel this way. I think I've come up with an effecient method to begin. I suggest Snowy (or anyone else interested in helping), talk about this - the best way I guess would be to exchange email addy's - unless you have free long distance phone service!

scooter, I was glad that I was directed to that page too. That woman standing to Maura's right looks to be a bit older.?..perhaps...friend or Aunt? Who is she...?

Question of anyone...did/does Maura have a friend
or relative named Christine. This is not just a casual inquiry.

Divide up aspects.?..?which ones...?
How.?..Maura psychosis, lesbian, suicide, living/hiding,Murdered in MA, VT, NH...?
She drove a wrecked car to 112..the car was
wrecked on 112. Someone stole her car..yardi yardi
I most likely would be on a thread with .?? all alone..no drama, no conspiracy, drove the car North, crashed the car, somebody grabbed her....don't want to write the rest.
Where is the last attempt.?..can't find it...
(Not Wiki)
Looking4...know you are snug with fur person, by the light of the silvery moon.
PFFFTTT to you Shack! I KNOW your frustration and what you're saying, but we have to keep trying for Maura. You realize that ;>). Maybe it's me but now it seems like there's too much dang info all over the place - it's just not getting easier to keep things straight. Facts, theories, lies, "yarda yarda." Your just cranky cuz Abe & the Beav are with me tonight. How' bout we put a "Lounge" back in one of the topics? Could I get a smile if I did that????

(I know, I know...but someone (anonymous)wrote the following post: Just wanted y'all to know that in the other Right to Know issue up there involving Maura Murray there is now a $75,000 reward for information

see the front page of todays Caladoina Record

I THINK "today" would be Aug 6, 2007 - haven't searched for that article yet - looking for something else at the time....I see if I can find article that's referenced later...

Just a quickie -- BEFORE anyone starts out to set up new Topix threads for organizing discussion, etc., I am aware that one of our participants here was looking into putting up a more standard type of discussion forum for us, not long ago. Not sure whether that is still under consideration, so I have emailed to ask.

IMHO, it would be much much better to have a standard style of discussion forum, and we could work on transferring over all posts of value from Topix.

Advocate, I do remember that...(and I usually
do not remember much) I thought it was you...or
Heartfelt, but, I didn't think it was my place to speak of it) Guess anything would/could be an
improvement to what we have had with Topix??...Not that it as not been a way of bringing in new ideas and minds, but compared with the "MMM Forum" in which one could at least, "search"...
My personal concern is for notariety and finding
Justice for a family.

Back in Spring of 2005, I told Anne that "this was
my first and last Forum" (other than Genforum)
.then to this.sigh..We want this nightmare over.

Scooter..not sure..but I think Sharon has kinda
sorta eased on out...so to speak...I talk to Helena, Citigirl et al..on occasion.

The moon is incredibly bright with all this white stuff on the ground and the ice on the tree branches. I can actually walk him all the way down the driveway without a massive flashlight!

Mason......found him......and one of his buddies last night, just trotting west on 112 right before the Weathered Barn curve.

Maura's textbooks were in the car when she disappeared. I know their budget is tight, but I doubt HPD is desperate enough for money that they'd sell evidence back to UMass.:-)
One thing's for sure, I haven't noticed any property tax relief yet from the sale of the books. Sorry couldn't help it, got the tax bill in Friday.

So, it would be interesting to know how the ADA requirements dovetail with this list, as an example of medical disqualifiers for military academies:

Notice it says psychotic episodes......many people have psychiatric disorders but do not suffer from psychosis. A PCP might not be aware of someone's treatment by a psychiatrist and if the person doesn't disclose, it would stay a secret. It could also have come upon her when she was at West Point and maybe she was required to leave, rather than voluntarily left?

I think it's a fabulous idea. My brain is just hurting trying to imagine organizing it.(Also, I didn't respond earlier because it's finals week and my brain is unhinged)

Nope, we won't get anywhere, but the cops, particularly the FBI could ask for that stuff at 9 am and have it by 4:30 pm the same day. They will have to be prodded, however, and if the first response is "no," it may take pressure by a national organization and/or a new law passed by Congress to force them to routinely do this in missing person cases. I could be wrong, but I don't believe they've ever done this before and it's such an obvious and quick way to check to see if someone is alive. They don't have to provide details in cases where people want to remain disappeared. A simple yes or no often will suffice by relieving the lost-in-limbo feeling.
It's just another mountain to climb, but it will save a lot of grief for a lot of people for a very long time, after we climb it.

I do think, since they're checking on her bank activity and etc, that they're probably keeping tabs on her SSN. Of course, this isn't an official confirmation of that by any means. I'm just saying it's my hunch. And my hope.

Agree.
You've already done some significant organizing on your own!
We'll take the input and lead of the plan that may already be in progress.
"...posts of value" is key in reducing the volume.

Scooter, I'm glad you found us all. I believe the 75000 reward was a 6 month temporary reward provided by an outfit that then switches the dollars to another missing person from the thousands. I believe there is still a 40000 reward. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
