Play the Lotto kids! FireCat and I agree! Doesn't every story need a beginning, middle and end? No Maura no ending! FireCat wrote: <quoted text> It's not over and done with until Maura's found.

Shack - What do you mean Helena would edit/delete? When people would write mean things she would delete? That just breaks my heart her aunt had read some of the crazy scenarios. Think if Maura was your sister - your niece - your daughter. We need to be brainstorming on how we can get national exposure - get AMW to air the information and keep the pressure on LE in NH and Mass. What about a petition? Pass NH and take it to DC

How would anyone know what the "the old squaw walk" meant without an explanation? But it still is implying Maura was upset enough to end her family. Or I'm still waiting for someone to come with another context for it. Being the dope I am will just sit in the corner till some big bad name calling whimp let's me out! Guess your Mother didn't tell you stick and stones break bones but words can't never hurt you! Thanks Mom and most people call me a B**** but thanks for the laugh! People like you crack me! What makes anyone draw any self worth from this site? Pleassssssssssssssssse! <quoted text> I don't following your logic...so I must not have communicated clearly. I gather your suggestion that everything we utter or think should be held against us, especially in times of distress? That's swell. Please add me to the list of dopes.

I could see an officer making the mistake of doing that. Everyone knows it happens. No one wants to admit it happens. Now it is time to possibly consider this. Listen to this carefully. What if that officer, or someone else (tow truck operator) knew about that non-arrest. What if that was what was being used to torment Maura at her desk that night? Possibly using it for leverage for some purpose. No proof without knowing who called. But... Possibility? Bill

My guess would be Quigi and Mason as the same as well. I am not sure who started this Topix forum - the title is Where is Maura Murray - that is what we need to focus on. Shame on you for saying that Fred was trying to help her hide the saturn. Have you seen the man in the interviews - he is heart broken father that still years later - searches for his daughter. When you searching in snow you are looking for remains. Very sad indeed. I'm off to lunch - very frustrated at some of the crazy comments

The red mark on the light of Maura's Saturn is the amber bulb for the directional light. The glass is broken and that is why you see it. Hope this helps. Also when I searched the acc. scene in the spring I found no broken glass from the light. This could make the theory of the acc. occurring elsewhere a good possibility.

And - has anyone pursued putting the pressure on through a NH state representative?

Everyone - What I would really like to see is everyone coming together to try to bring attention to this case. Talking about crazy scenarios - does not bring her home. I have gone back through the thread and am really surprised - I just see theories - not actions on how we can get exposure. That really needs to be the focus. Even if we put our money where our mouth is and come up with a fund for Fred to search on the 5 year anniversary. This needs to go national and not half a day on CNN's website either. my 2 cents. Sometimes I think we forget what it would be like if this happened to YOUR family. I would go out of my mind with worry!!! Lets step it up.

Bill I'm really trying to follow you but I guess my mind is frozen...I see the cover-up potential but wouldnt' the person being tormented be the officer that didn't do his/her job?

Are you saying Mason and I are the same person posting under different names? We're not. I'm me. Mason is "newish" to the forum and has lots more ideas. Wanna clear it up, email me at Quijie@comcast.net. Although Fred is obviously heartbroken, we have to consider his beautiful closeness with Maura and all the activities they shared; to me (with my dad), that would include telling him if I got into trouble, and him always helping me. This idea I mentioned has been free-floating in the forums for years and I figured it was time to mention it in a way my own dad would understand. Write me if you want, quij

I am totally up for putting pressure on NH state representative. I will tell you what I have been doing. I bought a ream of light blue paper and I have been copying every article possible I can find on this and am sending to AMW in a bright blue box. If anyone knows how to print webpages that come out normal - let me know because they don't look right. I tried to copy into word -however I want them to know they are legit articles. ps. Christmas is a week away..... a family should not have to go through another without knowing the fate of their loved one.

Det C - did you or do you know if anyone searched the roadside further away from where the car was found? Searching the roadside say 3-5 miles down the road? How soon did the theory come to be that the accident took place somewhere else? Thanks

Let me decide if I respect you or your beliefs, preferably without consequence....and vice versa. As I said before, if I want it, I'll seek it. If I don't want to be sold religion, politics or mysticism I won't be buying it. Snowy, I did not and don't plan to ask anyone to respect my set of tools. This is what I said, "Keep challenging those of us who resort to using tools for which you have no respect. Your passionate defense of an ordered and material Newtonian universe is needed for balance and structure to our discussions. You are what the ancients (as Jung would have explained in modern terms) would call the embodiment of the mythological Saturn archetype. With considerable respect, M" I invite criticism, not always deliberately as is the case with my sense of humor which isn't going to change, because as I said, "Your [referring to WTF] passionate defense of an ordered and material Newtonian universe is needed for balance and structure to our discussions." I hope you understand that I respect everyone's right to believe anything they want to believe because that is one of my basic values and if I have said otherwise expressly or by inference, I apologize because that is not what I'm about. Dawn, I am completely with you on this. While ideas and different ways of thinking about the case could help, it is only one way to push this case forward. So like you, I would love to see people donate to the reward fund, or volunteer to search (if you live in the area), or talk to a friend that is in the newspaper business or has a high profile blog and get this case attention. Here is a link to a pix of a 1996 Saturn like Maura's. It is a front view and you can see the amber bulb. http://www.kurtscredit.com/am/listings/images...
