I think yes - it could be a serial killer - a heck of an incidence of being at the right place at the right time (from his/her/their point of view) from ours the wrong place.

Problem in finding a solution (but not with the theory) is that no one really saw anything (if that was Maura in the car) not much to go on as far as leads. The exception being Mason discussing the timing of a few witness that should be questioned.

The before scenario discussions however - we have discussed and have some evidence to talk about.

I am even more frustrated now that the call was TO her. That tells me the police let that information "out" to hope it would get something be releasing that. She would have needed to missing for awhile and have a good solid case to get the phone company to release that information of the caller. Why would they release that ? The question of the day is who lives close to Londonberry or was in the area at that time. There is a reason they leaked that info.

Someone (a friend of White Wash's I think) went to the courthouse and was able to retrieve it from the public files.

I don't believe NHSP made it public. It was made public here on this forum.

Londonderry is just below Manchester above the NH/MA border.

There are TOO many missing person and unsolved homicide cases in NH/VT/ME/MA over the past several years. I am not an expert in this area.

I believe what the experts have to say though. If you think it's bullshit so be it.

This is very TRUE.

They would still require a subpeona to get that information. It is invasion of privacy. They would need to get info from tower of who called her - incoming phone numbers don't show on your bill. Then they would need to subpeona that persons phone company to release the information on the account and trace it back to the tower that carried the call. It is ALOT of work. Can we get a scan of this document? I am having a hard time with this part. Knowing how it works - it is next to impossible.

That didn't make sense.

1st - get a copy of Maura call records

2ns - subpeona Sprint for the tower that carried her incoming portion of call and the BTN - phone number of the person calling her

3rd - Identify the wireless carrier of that number

4 - Subpeona that carrier to release the information on that account and require them to retrieve info from the tower.

It is a llllllllloooooooooonggggggggg process. Back in 04 would have been even harder.

No, that is no proof at all.

Doesn't a judge need to sign a supeona? What is the justification and who can make the request?

A sprint bill in 04 only shows "incoming call". I have verified this. Tower information ALWAYS requires a subpeona. Call your local Sprint store and ask - I guarantee you what the answer would be. Getting the info from the other carrier is what is most likely impossible. Sharon could have given permission to view their account and access tower info - the other party would require a judge and need compelling information to do so. It takes weeks - months to get that.

1)RE; the sobbing voicemail, Billy (boyfriend) believed it was Maura; we were told LE thought it was just static not hearing anything specific. There's even conflicting info if the call came from the Red Cross
2)The sighting - most feel this sighting was not Maura. RF remains to be a 'controversial figure' for various reasons
3)Yes, some feel doubt it was actually Maura
4)No information, only theories/guesses of what was going on in Maura's life prior to her missing.

It has never made sense to me why she would leave a prestigious institution like West Point, and a prestigious career,(engineering, being a military officer) and go into nursing, of all things.

Nursing, as much as many people in the field refuse to admit it, is nothing but a blue collar job.(However, that is not the topic of this thread so please don't make this a discussion related to nursing.)

Wowzer, I agree - we CAN discuss this in a reasonable fashion (I think) IF we ignore the clones.

There is plenty of disagreement here, but there's no need of it being so rancorous. What we all have are a few facts and our opinions and theories. For example, I would not by any means say that Maura was definitely a victim of a serial killer. There simply is no proof to make that statement. There's no proof to say that she was drunk, or that she was suicidal, either. I would say that there is a chance that she was either drunk or suicidal, possibly both. Personally, I don't think it likely, but I don't know.
I do not believe that LE did all that they could and should have done.
I believe that witness accounts are frustrating and conflicting. That could just as easily be confusion or any number of other relatively innocent factors.

I'm just looking at posts on this oage and seeing things from the normal people that tell me that we can approach this discussion in a different manner entirely. I'd also say that if a post looks like wilfully distracting nonsense, best to consider it such.
"Are you accusing me of being a clone????" asked three or four times with no answer looks like such a post to me - nothing to do with Maura, just "all about me." Pretty funny, in some ways, since I really have no opinion on the question, or I didn't before.
