Why did SBD's employer indirectly pay a legal fee of some kind, through Dove Interests, to John Regan's attorney after Regan pleaded guilty, for no good reason, to the attempted abduction charge against him in Saratoga Springs?
And why did a company which also owned a good chunk of Dove Interests, a company probably owned by SDB's employer, provide the majority of monetary donation to the Molly Bish Reward Fund?

off topic, cannot follow what is being discuss
White Wash: I have been contemplating the comments you made regarding the SBD being persuaded to change his statement regarding the sobriety of the driver of the Saturn at the Weatherbarn accident site.
What was the date of the article in question? From the get go, indubitably, the only person who could have made such a statements is the SBD as he is the only witness to come in close contact with the occupant of the Saturn after the accident, that we know.
The SBD taciturn statments begs many questions.
1. Why did Atwood change his statement, at least to the press? 2. Are we certain he changed his official statement to the police or did he change his statement only to the public? 3.Or did the police find evidence that does not place Maura at the scene of the accident, such as DNA forensic evidences verifies the DNA or fingerprints on the alcohol container (coke bottle) found under the Saturn at the accident site and/or perhaps on the airbag and/or the beer bottle, is not Maura’s? Thus if police found evidence of someone else being in the car, this would explain the later statement (4 months later) by law enforcement, "there is no conclusive evidence to state that the driver of the vehicle was intoxicated." (paraphrased). About this time DNA results would have been ready, and too Maura’s case was turned over to the Crimes Unit of the State police.
4. O.K. the statement of law enforcement four months later to the press, might indicate there was no conclusive evidence to state that Maura was intoxicated, is this back up by DNA evidence, or did law enforcement simply not believe the SBD testimony?
5. Or are police trying to exempt themselves from culpability and liability for not conducting a search earlier, and issuing a BOL and notifying the University of Mass immediately, as well as sending local police to contact Fred Murray. The risk factors involved in the occupant of the car being intoxicated are 1000 fold, and added to the list of other concerns to suspect perhaps the driver of the Saturn was endangered by hypothermia, and or injury.
An intoxicated person in the known set of circumstances was at risk, because of her diminished state of control and disadvantaged by weather, terrain and road conditions and access to services in the area and that the car was from out of state and the driver’s destination unknown.
6.Do the police expect that the evidence of alcohol in and under the Saturn was planted? The red stains on the door and the inside roof and dash board are suspicious if they came flying out of a coke bottle. Did someone (planted evidence), as it does not look like anyone was sitting in the driver’s seat when the vine stains formed although that is not to say these stains on the seats were not already there before the accident, however forensic testing could determine if the wine stains on the seat and about the car came from the same batch of wine.
7. Or did the SBD change his statement due to leaving the scene of the accident when the person was impared and possibly endangered.
What are your thoughts as to why he was pressured to change his statement?

White Wash:
Sorry for asking you specifically these questions re: above and I have one more.
You state emphatically that the police did all they could to notify Fred that his car was involved in an accident and the person driving was impared and had vanished.
While looking at pictures of Maura's car, as plain as the nose on anyones' face, the University of Mass parking sticker with serial number is on the driver's side window.
I fail to understand why law enforcement did not call the University Campus Police or their DETECTIVE to find out whom the sticker was issued to...
I can see that the initial call made at night allegedly by dispatch was to Fred the owner of the car, however within a reasonable length of time when Fred did not return the call; why law enforcement did not contact U. of Mass seems to me lacking.
Any comments. Had the University been contacted law enforcement would have found out immediately whom the parking sticker was issued to and the contact for her parents and or sisters.
I understand law enforcement was busy, I understand they are short staffed, but law enforcement is trained to track people down. However dispatch could have easily contacted the University of Mass. Yes I understand too that they had a busy night, but what I find hard to digest is comments that law enfocement did everything to contact Fred. The proof that they did not is in the pudding. Perhaps I am mistaken that law enfocement did contact the University, but and educated guess would be NO.

Can't follow the fact that his employer paid a "fee" to John Regan's attorney shortly after Regan, for no good reason, pleaded guilty?
Can't follow the fact that his employer has a very close business associate who provided the majority of the money to the Molly Bish Reward Fund?
Can't follow the fact that his employer is connected to someone with a certain interest in a certain residential property near Kennedy?
I guess if Weeper doesn't follow it, no one can.

whereelsewhere: I believe you asked me about Pauline Clark, seems you know more than I do about her and you are likely correct that her remains were found in the Mountain Lakes area. I understood that it was a brook off St. Peter's road less than a mile away, that is likely in the Mountain lakes area. I do not know whom was named a person of interest, but from what I have read, which is scanty the husband and wife were having problems, and that is always suspicious when the spouse ends up lying face down in a brook in a remote area. Theresa Allure and 2 other women were found like Pauline face down in a brook near the American boarder on the Canadian side, near Sherbrook,(m.s,)Quebec which is not all that far away as the crow flies. Perhaps it is a copy cat murder situation.. just seems strange.

Regarding a cover up... Was there a little hanky panky between a Greenfield area priest and a police officer? That is related to this case? Perhaps?
If you want to become a detective sergeant you have to ask the right questions the right way. Otherwise, your memories of packing fudge and your motives show through. Know what I mean?

Louise Chaput was from Sherbrooke, and I'll bet many dollars to any of Weeper's donuts that the same person killed both Louise Chaput and Molly Bish. But Weeper is too lazy to figure this out, so the lead just goes to the dogs.

Weeper, did you talk to anyone who inspected the Corolla after it crashed? If not, how come? It isn't a difficult task. Would seem rather relevant to the case, don't you think? JUST WONDERING... Is this what you call PI bashing? Or revenge? Or what, exactly?

Pauline Clarks body was found in the stream at The Mountain Lakes Lodge which is on Valley rd. This is right across the street from The A Frame where the carpet was taken from. The person of interest at the time was supposedly her boyfriend.

You must never leave the engine running, no matter how cold it gets. If you fall asleep, you could die. Or if you fall asleep, you could be dying. Or dead already. Only if you were lucky might someone come across you, fail to wake you, and would have to somehow stop the engine.
