Someone can correct me if in error, I believe looking 4 moose that Maura emailed her professors and work, and I am not aware if Maura gave the same excuse to her employer as she did to the Nursing School. thanks for the list of locations for clinicals, as we know that Maura was doing a Ped's rotation, out of the list all the hospitals would not have Ped's units, at least one wouldn't think |

Baystate has a pediatric hospital in Springfield. Per the previous forum though, she was travelling to Norwood. Do you know where the information on the Pedi rotation came from?

From what I can tell from the posted schedule for clinicals at Umass Amherst--Maura would've been doing Maternal/Newborn for a clinical, not Pedi. That is also offered at Baystate.

Judged: 1 1 1 Thanks for the information re: location of Pauline Clark's remains. I have some other questions but will see if there is a thread for Pauline and if there is not one will attempt to create one. I presume if the Lodge is across the street, then the location of the A-frame in question is on the T turn of the road, near Lodge Road. Is that correct. Thinking out loud: Lodge Road, is there a marsh in the area? Where is there a brook located near the area? Is there a pond behind infront on the sides anywhere near the A-frame? Or down on Lodge Road. Is there a river close by perhaps small river? Is the A-frame situationed on high or low ground. Is the lodge situation on high or low ground. Where were Pauline's remains found. It is not difficult to imagaine how easy it would be to ambush a woman driving alone in this area how easy it would be to send someone in this direction looking for lodging.. then stage an ambush. It is possible someone had a cottage for rent in the area that Maura might have been looking for, asked directions and she was directed to the secluded area of Lodge lane area. Are there any guard rails in the area (not that I believe Maura struck a guard rail) guard rails for some reason seem important. I was able to view a number of videos on the mountainlakes site, in fact there was 4 videos ironically it seems so familiar, or as I imagined the area would look like. Odd the SBD states that he went in the direction of the Mountain Lakes District, and was gone about 15 minutes, then he returned to the accident site, then drove to the French Pond area and returned to the accident site and assisted Monahan to search the area of the accident site. Makes one wonder if the occupant of the car did not mention something to him about the Mountain Lakes area, or perhaps the SBD went there because that is the destination of most tourists, and perhaps he figured (out of state plates) Maura was a tourist. If a person was looking to get away from the Madding Crowd of the world, gee the Mountain Lakes area would be a dream come true. I'd go for such an area if I need to rest, some exercise, fresh air, a perfect peaceful spot. I know this area has been searched extensively, both in the A-frame and surrounding areas, have any water areas been searched by divers, or dredging, scanning... On the maps, the distance from the accident scene to the Lodge and Valley road intercept is approximately 1 mile, 2 minute driving time, sure would be easy to walk, run, or drive to that area. The driving looks easier if one took Swiftwater circle the second exit east of the accident site, rather than the first turn off which appears much more hilly...according to maps |

Judged: 1 1 I thought that it was from Helena. I remember posting that the Ped's rotation is the roughest (in my estimation)rotation if you happened to be looking after dying children, and I thought perhaps that Maura took off for a week after having a heavy load in clinical. If Maura had been on Maternity, well this is sort of a breeze of a rotation, at least compared to pediatrics. Where I trained in Ped's it is the largest centre this side of a 1000 miles, and an excellent centre, however the number of seriously sick children there is mind boggling, they have every disease imaginable, and it was rough rough rough on the head and I was much older than Maura. However, a small local Ped's unit might not be so bad, but in large hospitals it can be a brutal experience. Also I believe Maura had a Ped's text in her car Anyone remember what rotation Maura was on? |

Judged: 2 2 2 Can anyone characterize her alcohol purchase for me. Its quite likely she might have been buying some sort of gift yet its also possible it was more a wine intended for a starving student. Was the wine found near the front seat something that appeared she had been drinking from? She certainly was sober enough to stick that red warning flag into the tailpipe. |

Would maternal have included a "home for unwed mothers" kind of facility? If so, there is Summerhill House in Norwood, previously associated with Dr. Eric Keroack, a close ally of Dr. John Diggs. |
|
Does UMass Nursing have any kind of partnership with Birthright of Amherst? |
|
Dr. John Diggs is someone closely associated with Birthright of Amherst. He appears to practice at Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer. He speaks vigorously, in military terms, against abortion and embryonic stem cell research, and takes an absolutist stand very similar to the Army of God.
The Birthright office in Amherst is located near where Vasi was struck. Birthright has an interesting connection to the nutritional supplement business. |
