Det C, you and I know how things work, say like a local LE has an agenda and certain people he/she wants to protect? Even if they are out of their jurisdiction.
Only LOCALS know that score
I believe what you and the other PI's have to say
You are a known instigator of trouble that goes by many names in the forums LAFJA/VONHLP/don't let the door hit ya/ Queen Gertrude and several more. As I told you on another forum where you accused me of being in LE I will not play your game. This is Maura's forum and your vendetta doesn't belong here.

Logically speaking, how can one continue to develop useful theories (online) with "so few facts to work with"?
Theories based on misinformation may be creative, but would seem hardly credible as working theories, IMHO.
Is someone hoping to 'crack' this case by chance? By creating opportunity? By perseverance?
Without factual information...how?
But there is factual information. A pretty good amount of it, too. Not trying to be a tease, but the info is there if you are truly serious about finding it.

Det C. I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment of the North County, being a 49+ life-long resident myself. The picture Wowzer would like to portray isn't reality for most us natives.

1. Remember the open container law?
2. The average person, especially the average 21 year old, does, in fact, believe it's illegal to drink and drive. And they often act accordingly.
3. It is not illegal to drink in a place where drinking is illegal and then get in a car and drive it if your ability to drive is not impaired due to the alcohol just previously consumed.
4. "Oh-eight" is a PRESUMPTION of impairment..04 is plenty if your ability to drive is impaired by having drunk even a small amount of alcohol just before driving.
5. In Massachusetts, only the Registrar of Motor Vehicles may grant, suspend, revoke, or re-instate a resident's right to drive.
Don't forget that Maura crashed her father's new Toyota Corolla early Sunday morning after she'd been drinking at a dorm party with her friends and she was not charged with DUI. This was a little over 36 hours before the accident with the Saturn, so she would have known that a person can drink and drive as long as they are not impaired. She also was over the age of 21 and could buy and drink alcohol legally.

I am not saying it has anything to do with finding Maura. It has everything to do with knowing the score of what this area can be like. Do you really know?

There was an emergency transmission on February 9, 2004 about a female slid off the road, may have left in private vehicle and a description. Now, I cannot say who put that out there because I do not know. There was then a call to go all the way to the scene, it all was a busier than usual scanner traffic . I am not an originator of a second accident, although it makes sense to me. I now know that Woodsville Emergency services did not go there at 7 pm when the original call was broadcast. There was a 7 pm call about female slid off the road and may have left in private vehicle with reference to swiftwater road.
Is it possible that the reference was say,'toward Swiftwater'?
Female slid off road and may have left in a private vehicle could make some sense at the WB location.

Do you know for sure that Maura Murray crashed it?

Have you seen the report?

1. Find out whether or not the Corolla was insured by Arbella of Quincy, MA.

2. Find out which appraisal service in the area is used by Arbella.

3. Find out where Arbella's appraiser's office was, and basically still is.

So, to over-simplify only a little, but not so much that any accuracy is lost...

You're the owner of the school bus company. Someone who is essentially one of your employees, while driving one of your buses, is the last known person to possibly have seen Maura Murray.

Maura's disappearance is on the local news. You look out the window of your office and see Kennedy dorm across the street.

Is it really possible that the owner of the bus driven by one of his employees is not going to be a little bit curious about this?

Wouldn't the average person say to himself something like, "Wow. It was one of my bus drivers, while driving one of my buses, who talked to someone in the Saturn at the crash site in Haverhill and the person who drove that Saturn was assigned a dorm room right across the street here."

Yes, it could and we mustn't forget that Sgt Smith responded to the call from the vicinity of Petticoat Lane by driving 3 miles N/B on Rte 10 into Woodsville. He turned right onto Swiftwater Road at Cottage Hospital and continued on Swiftwater Road to where it becomes Goose Lane past the brier Hill intersection, and he continued on Goose Lane until he reached Rte 112. Along the way, he passed the hospital employee who was driving home after work on Goose Lane. Therefore, both of them should have noticed an abandoned vehicle in the ditch on the side of the road, but the didn't report it, if they did.

I believe the information that Anne heard over the radio was about the accident halfway between the Weathered Barn and the Bradley Hill Road intersection. Needless to say, identifying the person who reported to police that the female driver left the scene of the accident in a privately owned vehicle is the key to solving this case.

Continuing to over-simplify...

In addition to owning the school bus company, maybe, in a sense, you also own one or more chemical tankers (18 wheeler) that make deliveries to sources of public drinking water and swimming pools. And you also own a kind of extra special ISP attached to those tankers.

And one of these tankers, and/or drivers, makes regular runs to Wells River, and to Mullins Way, and to Comins Pond Rd, and to an area beside the cross country track at Saratoga Springs High School, and the well field behind the Putney Road movie theatres in Brattleboro.

Isn't it possible that someone who might have, for example, hacked the computer system in a company like this, have used the information about the location of these vehicle to help commit a crime?

Sounds too crazy to believe? Maybe. And that's perfectly understandable. But might be something to chew over a little bit.

What would you do if you learned that one of your employees driving one of your school buses was reported on the news to have been the last person to have seen a student housed in the dorm across the street from your office?

Pointer the smaller bus you saw on the left belongs to a neighbor that lives before the crash site.
SBD's two car garage can be seen at the end of film. His house was to the left of garage and set back a little. It was hidden by the trees so I was unable to see it in the film as the car was driving up the road.
Bradley Hill is right across from that two car garage.

"Practically everything you just named is your own personal assessment of what you imagine happened..."

"Finding a coke bottle with a reddish-color alcohol (WINE) in it under the very car she was driving is NOT a coincidence. It's very possible that she quickly threw it under the car..."

"I strongly disagree with you "presuming" she would bring gloves with her...And do you know who would EASILY be the most trustworthy people for her to have chosen? A COUPLE."

"You're basing a number of your points off of the theories that YOU personally (and others) have came to "

Apparently our friend here believes its only OK for _him_ to exercise logic and draw conclusions, that only he could possibly be correct - and anyone else that does the exact thing he does - is of "limited mental capacity."

I see now its OK to consider Maura was drinking. A finger in the dike.

Well I guess the old saying - if you want to do something right, do it yourself - isn't actually true.
