All I knew was that it was in Norwood. |

You didn't get the handbook, then, with the other information? And if it's for ALL UMass schools, couldn't it then also be for UMass Amherst? There aren't UMass campuses in Connecticut, or Brattleboro, and they have clinicals there. |

Judged: 1 It is not a very doubtful supposition. I will have to look again--either on this site of the other one. It must have been Weeper then. It was one of the PIs who said this again recently. Please bear with me....it won't be momentary, it'll be in the next few hours. Searching this damn thing takes time. |

Judged: 2 1 1 I have said that the witness is incorrect for saying they saw Maura early Sunday morning. I believe LE should go back and requestion this witness. As I said before that the reciept was no longer in my posession. Some hotels let you stay after 11:00. |

I think you'll find they arrange specific graduate clinicals in the distant sites---many of the grad students are distance learners except for an occasional on campus lecture. |
Citigirl...Just a thought...just because one "checks out" around 11 doesn't mean they went straight to the campus .....perhaps they
went to lunch/breakfast and/or looked at cars before arrival on campus....??? |
|
we are greatful that this man contacted family but unfortunaly it was not Maura. |
|
when specifics were asked it doesn't mean questions were being ignored. I personally do not know the exact location of Maura's clinicals. I only knew they were in Holyoke and Norwood. |
|
I have been to hotels where they have let me stay later than 11:00. When Maura and her father left the hotel they did not go to the campus until later on. |
|
After they left the hotel, did they go next door to an insurance appraiser's office? |
|
Did they leave the hotel in a rented car? If so, where was the Corolla at that point? Thank you. |

Scent trails are believed to be composed of microscopic dead skin cells from the outer layer of our skin that continuously fall from our bodies and float to the ground forming an invisible trail in our wake that dogs can detect with their super sensitive sense of smell. Windy conditions spread the trail far and eventually too wide for a dog to follow. Wet conditions suppress the scent. Hot, windy, and dry conditions dissipate a scent trail the fastest and hard surfaces like roads do not retain scent very long. In the road category, a road with high volume traffic traveling at high speeds is least likely to retain a detectable scent trail because vehicles generate high winds that scatter the microscopic dead skin cells far and wide so that no detectable scent trail is present for very long. Dogs need to be trained and subjected to periodic testing by their handlers to determine how reliably and accurately they follow scent trails. Search and Rescue teams in the Seattle area, which is where I'm from keep records on the training and performance of their scent dogs. I don't know if that was true in this case, but it's another interesting unknown worth checking out. We would have to know how much traffic passed along Rte 112 during the period from Monday around 7:40 pm until Wednesday when the dog was shown the scent object and commanded to search. Based on what I know, it's possible that a detectable scent trail was present. As with just about every other aspect of this case, I lack sufficient information to confidently form an opinion. BTW, a glove is an excellent scent object since the dead cellular material accumulates and remains inside the glove. Of course, someone has to wear the glove, or it's worthless. |

There is good reason to believe that Maura Murray was acquainted with someone connected to the Rowland corruption scandal and who owned a residential property near SW.
Rowland was a high school wrestler on the same team as John Regan. Regan pleaded guilty to a charge of attempting to abduct a student track star from Saratoga Springs High School. The school bus driven by Mr. Atwood was owned by by a company that has extremely close corporate connections to the executive jet charter company, Key Air, that provided Rowland with $91,000 of free air travel, mostly to Las Vegas. Rowland was sentenced to one year in jail, largely because of this free air travel. To over-simply a bit, the company that owned the school bus company and which is very closely connected to Key Air had an office very near, almost across the street, from Kennedy dorm. The same company, more or less, with the office across from Kennedy also paid a fee to John Regan's attorney shortly after Regan pleaded guilty. |
