Yep -- two of Maura's security job supervisors came on the former MMM forum and said that Maura would not have had time in the first place to leave her security desk, go to her car, and drive it somewhere such that she could have hit Vasi,*because* the security desks are checked every 20 minutes and she could not have done all that in time between those checks.

To my knowledge, no LE has confirmed this information.

The correct answers were: irrelevant under FRE 401 and 402. Even if relevant, its probative value was outweighed by its prejudicial value and nit nshould have been excluded under FRE 403.

Also, the question was improper because it assumed facts not in evidence (i.e., lack of foundation).

Finally, you should have asked the court to instruct the jury to disregard the fact asserted in the question.

Now that we have good reason to believe you aren't a lawyer, would you care to tell us if you know someone who is a lawyer who might speak for you?

You seem like a really sad and lonely guy. It is really spineless for you to now try to appear like you were joking. Also, your inability to stop targeting me in your posts suggests pretty strongly that you are really, really lonely because you are obsessed with spending all your time talking to someone who has made it pretty clear that he dislikes. There is no sense of humor issue here, Mason. You are not funny or clever or witty. You acted out like a child with harsh words in several posts, then regretted it, then pathetically begged me to forgive you with the stupidly constructed implication that you were just joking and playing with me, which further offended.

Although I take broader offense at his personality, I agree with the idea that he has a God complex. Perhaps our accord on that matter sheds some light on why I thought he might have been on line here as two different people.

So unless a relatively reliable source can corroborate the existence of the distressing phone call, I'm not sure I would necessarily rely on it in trying to piece together what happened Thursday night.

Maybe I'm wrong, but if I had been Maura's supervisor, I would never have told that story on the ex-MMM site.

First of all, almost no important information of lasting value, in a direct sense, came from that forum. A lot can be learned by what was NOT said, but things like the ATM video, even key items in the time-line itself, were carved in stone for a long time. But it's the ABSENCE of things that seem to uniquely characterize the old MM forum.

Take almost any other disappearance you hear about on the news. Almost always, as far as I know, much more information is released by LE. So if the supervisor posted such hugely important information as the events of very early Thursday AM, then it is kind of inconsistent with the general lack of information on the site.

Second, the account of the night brings suspicion on the supervisor. Maybe the post(s) about Thursday night are accurate, but still I would think the supervisor might hesitate before posting that story on the old MMM site because her story puts her, the supervisor, in the unique position of being able to tell Maura to keep her mouth shut about a possible Vasi hit because she, the supervisor, could simply tell the police that Maura was excused from work for a short time before midnight. Maura had an emergency. Or dashed out in her car to get some coffee. Or whatever.

Even if the story is all perfectly true, its posting on the old MMM site should be checked out because it stand unique against all the other information, and it leaves the supervisor in the awkward position of being the only person who could have nearly complete control over what Maura would say about a Vasi hit.

If Maura said to the supervisor that she, Maura, was going to report the supervisor to the police, then the supervisor could turn around and tell the police that Maura was not at work for a time that night. And who are the police going to believe?

I'm not questioning the honesty of the real supervisor. I'm saying that she might well have not wanted to post that version no matter how true it was because it makes her, the supervisor, look like she might have been driving the Saturn. Such a story, regardless of whether or not it's true, would invite hard questions from LE and presumably the supervisor would know that and simply and honestly want to avoid that predicament.

Therefore, the posting - apart from the real supervisor - should be regarded with a little hesitation. It's a tricky issue, but it obviously opens the door on the possibility that the phone story was a plant by someone other than the supervisor.

My feeling is that if Maura was abducted, then the abduction was connected to some place near SW. The actual abduction may have occurred anywhere between Amherst and Haverhill, but I think if she was abducted then her abduction was connected with something or someone near her dorm.
