It's interesting that the home phone of a leading member of the Bish endorsed search and rescue team received a series of phone calls from an ex-priest convicted of having raped two girls during the 1980's.

The rapist, previously released from jail, was receiving a series of calls at his home phone from the prisoner phones at the Worcester County House of Correction during the fall of 2002, and the rapist in turn called the home phone of a leading member of the Bish endorsed search and rescue team. This series of phone calls occurred at the same time as Bish's bathing suit was found.

Odd many in Swiftwater feel the same as you do about Middlebury!

Why is a convicted rapist (of two girls) accepting collect calls from the Worcester County House of Correction and then calling the home phone of a leading member of the Bish endorsed search and rescue team at the same time as Molly Bish's bathing suit was first discovered?

If the Bish and Murray investigations are so interwoven, which they are, it makes one wonder.

Did Maura Murray have diabetes?

Did Maura Murray have high cholesterol (probably related to her possible diabetes)?

Was Maura Murray taking a statin drug to lower her cholesterol?

Was she taking some form of vitamin E?

If Maura Murray had diabetes and/or high cholesterol, and if she was taking vitamin E, especially if the form of vitamin E was developed or in development by a former UMass professor, then there's an excellent chance that her disappearance can be explained.

There has been sustained and intense interest in Maura's disappearance by Amherst area people who appear to be connected to the nutritional supplement business.

If Maura's health was compromised by having taken some of the drugs that this group were developing or promoting, then there is a very good chance that her disappearance is related to her possible health issues or her use of certain nutritional supplements.

Because the players are mostly local, it is very possible that the reason for her disappearance can be discovered.

It may seem hard to believe, but in terms of time and money, it beats the hell out of continuing to comb the woods of Haverhill, New Hampshire. Unless there's a reason to keep doing so and coming up with nothing.

What's to lose by looking at the possible Amherst nutritional supplement connection?

I am still really upset about that letter from Orville Fitch II to Fred Murray.. How on earth could you make a mistake like that ? The death of Maura Murray. I'm sure his secretary wrote it. He should read things - before he puts his signature at the bottom. This to me just shows how serious the NH govt take this case......... Why????? Fred sued the state and the AG - if they had something they would have seized the moment - carpadiem ? spelled wrong I know.. anyway.. This tells it is not a priority - if he was familar with the case - he would know they don't know if she is dead or alive. Having a family member being told by the sheriff someone had been killed - I think this is ruthless and he should be repermanded. Your daughter goes missing then you get a letter saying she is dead......... someone somewhere knows something and.. it is starting to look pretty darn clear who that is.

I hope the Govenor finally reads my last letter too.

Peri - I think it was you who sent one too ? I can't remember who it was now... anyway. This has gone through not one - two - gov. of NH. I would guess this letter that was shared was just a sample of a long list of these types of letters errors.

I wish Nancy Grace or Gloria Alred would see this.. I know alot of you don't like NG - however - look at the Anthony case - we all know Casey as Tot Mom - she started that and even other stations use it now..

ok.. I am just really frustrated after seeing that letter - just blows me away something like that could happen - even when they are denying him info on the case..

It was November 25th that I read the story on the front page of CNN. Not one day has gone by I haven't thought of - how in the world can you vanish in minutes without a trace.......and the pain that would go along

I think the silence speaks for alot of us..........I wish the family could find the answers and the closure they are seeking.

First and foremost, I hope you are recovering well!

You are so passionate - if that's the right word?!?- about your frustration with OFitch, why don't you call him and express your feelings?
I'm not saying this in a "being a jerk" kind of way - it just might be more beneficial of expressing your anger at the source, than to us.
The other thing is, we ALL have made mistakes when afterwards it's like "OMG - I can't believe I did or said that!" Only human. Yes, it's terrible mistake, but maybe that's all it was.

Come on scooter, surely it has to be Fitch who penned the letter himself simply to give Fred a kick in the nuts. It couldn't possibly be a third string secretary who just screwed up. And certainly Fitch doesn’t have any representative who actually is authorized to sign (signature stamp) for him in manners like that. It must be intentional.

Of course that is done all the time. But where is the fun in reasonable attitudes like that when you can go a real rip-snorter of a binge and accuse all kinds of nefarious things. It’s much more fun to do that especially when you can also inject conspiracy theories about what they actually know and aren’t telling anyone about.

ScooterD.. I do plan on sending him a letter or email. I am not expressing my anger at anyone here. I think it is a terrible mistake - after everything that has gone down - you have to wonder - or at least I do. My opinion...... This letter where they made the mistake was an attachment to another document saying - sorry but NO you can't have any info on your daughters case. As I have said before I am very passionate about having to deal with the govt... unfortunatley it is all too common.. they are hoping you will just go away.. eventually some do.....

The letter passed two people - his receptionist/assistant and ofitch.. both missed it.. If the letter said.. I am so sorry please forgive me..

I would also hope that others that might be offended also would write........ Just like I have said from my first day here - media media media.. I haven't gotten alot of bite out of that. I just saw Polly Klauss dad on the new's he said media is crutial.... sometimes I just wonder why people would come to a site about a missing person .. if they didn't actually try to do something.. Don't get me wrong.. I know alot of people have and I am thankful.. i know that alot of people haven't too and don't think media is a good idea...

We get the point. Imagine the family reading your posts, over & over & over and over again, about what they read in the letter. You can be passionate without being repetitive. Or you could at least try.
