Philip, I wasn't aware of the presence or lack of LE at the A-frame search one way or the other.....interesting. Of course, if it was the PIs investigating it, I don't think they'd HAVE to be there to make it legal. Who knows (not me!). As to why the Murrays have been denied so much information, it could be any number of reasons:

* LE is just working on the case and not interested in PR and/or keeping the family up to speed
* LE is peeved at the Murrays because of all the bad press and is being close-mouthed out of spite
* LE is covering something up
* LE doesn't know a whole lot more of interest or use (or that they can confirm) than they've already shared with the Murrays.(potentially this could be partly as a result of all that stuff in the backlog at the state lab. They might have thoughts but can't get the evidence to back it up so don't want to get into it with the Murrays until they can be sure....which could be years, according to the article)

Again, because I know some people will get upset that this list seems unflattering to NHLE, I have no idea which of these, if any, it could be, AND none of them are specific to the fact that these particular LE personnel are from Haverhill, Grafton County, or even NH. It's just what I came up with given the particulars of the scenario. So don't anybody get their WHITE WASH I'M ABOUT TO SAY PANTIES in a twist over it.

Did find something out,and not by telepathy. Not a big surprize or any special insight needed to imagaine, ALL the posters claiming things as FACTS are NOT indeed facts unless they came from the police. That is FACT. Since no on this board is supplying a source for their information, I can not be held to a requirement to reveal my source.

Oh, the other possibility of the fact stating debacle, the things stated as facts are assumptions, or taking information second hand and making them facts.

That is the best case scenario, and worse case, making it up, which I'd rather not believe personally that this is the case. Perhaps a few tidbits taken here and there and purported as facts.

An unthinkable possiblity put perhaps true, the police are leaking information to the public. If this is the case, this is NOT A GOOD THING.

DNA from saliva will not tell you the blood alcohol level of a person, and given the splattering of the alcohol in the Saturn, it can never be used as evidence for whether a person was drinking as the sample could be contaminated with alcohol. DNA evidence on the airbags can tell if Maura was driving the car at the time of the accident. It will also reveal if someone was in the passenger seat at the time the airbags were deployed. That is all the DNA in the Saturn can provide.

In the investigation of John Ramsey, re: his daughter's murder, police did not do DNA testing as they stated they did, recent DNA test-
ing revealed that the perp was none of the accused. The perp stayed in the house after their Christmas party, and waited for the family to return home, the rest is history.

Thanks Snowy for posting the site about the missing where I write. The posters here who are not familiar with justiceforchandra, should take a boo about how to behave on a forum, no mud slinging there at fellow posters, never. The outrageous are held in checks by the moderators and owner of the forum, and rd would have cleaned this house-up and out a long time ago, most people wouldn't last a new york heart beat.

what went without saying about the fact debate is:

that is not to say that the information from the private detectives working on this case, or information revealed by the Murray family is not fact, but unfortunately since this is a criminal investigation, police, detectives and family have not revealed everything that they know.

Also, some of the information in the media have some facts, but they are riddled with errors as we have seen. I tend also to take the information from the witnesses statements mostly as fact except where it has been pointed out that certain witnesses have APPEARED to tell untruths, as pointed out by comparing one witnesses statements against the others, information from private detectives and police that contradict some of the witnesses statements as well.

Lots of untruths floating around. Some of the posters make claim to knowning things, we must take this with a bag of salt, and wonder at the motivation behind such irresponsibility.

I have reported things as fact, when it turned out not to be, but have stood up and said so, none of which was intentional to deceive, just misunderstanding on my part, communication errors, misinterpeting, puppeting, aping coments in the media.

true, indeed, that on one occasion there was an extended exchange between FC, john and also Mason.
it occurred just prior john's leaving, and was followed by some heated debate the next day.
while Beagle was attempting to make some points about Maura, if i recall correctly, the conversation was diverted to ... yes, flirting. call it what you will, Ben.
no one could get a word in, edgewise.

i don't know who "neutral" is...but great to see my perceptions weren't off the mark.
