Thanks, I thought there might be a connection, but I recently noticed radically different writing styles between the two names and thought someone, somewhere might have hit the wrong button. |
Of COURSE you want to be needlessly offensive! heh heh heh. "Just Me" identified herself as "Paris" (from other forums). |

Judged: 1 1 1 Beagle Bart, I read of you consistantly referring to the siting in Barton VT. This am news reported Vt SP searching for a police impersonator stopping vehicles in the Barton area, wearing police like clothing and with a dash light. Off subject, but interesting. |

I can answer that. I always pick a name when I join a forum. When I found Topix, I thought hey, just me. When I was on MMM I was paris and don't ask me why. Je parle francais, BUT picking paris for a name is odd to even me. |
Question regarding judging. Will it tell you who gave you the nuts etc?
Given the tectonic shift in the "believeability meter" recently, do you accept the information about the windshield as "fact?" A lot of the "facts" that were accepted as God's Holy Word have now been shown to be doubtful at best. Why would the origin of the crack be any different? |

To clarify, I started out "just me" when I found Topix and decided I may as well let ya know I was paris. I saw others who might understand me better if they knew who I was. MMM people remember me as a regular poster........

You've got the wrong guy, officer. |

Judged: 1 You know, I am pretty good at keeping track but I admit I hold things as true when they're not. I don't mind being corrected, I don't have to be right, just don't like being left to decide myself. But when it comes to the crack I raise my hand because I was there for so many discussions and the people who went to where the car sits to this day said the crack was on the inner side of the windshield. |
Okay, thanks for answering my question. |
yeah, whiston, i'm interested in hearing about the july 4th search too. wonder if they've ever searched the densely wooded area i ranted about way way back on this thread. Hey, Beagle, i'm no longer jealous!!!! I got a SPAM judgement (probably from you) and I laughed sooooo hard! i think that's a first!

Hi all,
Sorry for repeating myself here, but does anybody know the state of the Saturnīs tyres? Were they very worn or in a good shape? Were they winter tyres or just "ordinary" ones? This could be of some interest in relation to the Saturn possibly spinning round on the sharp Weathered Barn curve on the 112. Thanks! |
What makes you think I would give you SPAM? Well, at least you're not jealous! That's a relief! |
Teagle T,
Although I agree this is off-topic and I don't mean to sound racy, your brilliant and funny ideas concerning incendiary spam and nuts was helpful and, in some way, actually touching! It's interesting because we have a bbq and though I feel pretty clueless about how to work it, I'm sure my husband will disagree. Did I get 'em all? Back to Maura. |
Aren't old, worn out tyres ancient cities in Labannon? Signed, Xenophobe. Getting the information about the Saturn is like pulling teeth from a hen. Good luck. Maybe, if someone is really daring, and if the Saturn is still there - is it?- then a poster who doesn't live far from the place will stop and ask if the car can be looked at. Although that request may be getting a little old by now. |
hi all.th search story is at the old Maura Murray site. i am not smart enough to post it here.someone mentioned way back that the crack im the windshield had grown since the car was left in the field just from temperature change.it still bothers me that the saturn seems to be in a field with no other vehicles around it .take care philip
Who is in control of the Saturn? Is it for sale? |
Would someone place a link to the last Maura forum that was closed and run by Hlena. I can no longer find the link. Thank You

I thought I would see how Webster defined the word, fact: a piece of information presented as having objective reality.
