Beagle,
Ha,ha,ha - very funny about Tyres vs Tires... You and others here will have to put up with my British English spelling at times! Seriously: Is Mauraīs Saturn still standing on that open field by the NHSP barracks? Does anybody here have a clue? |
Once upon a time, I PRESENTED as a fact the six hours necessary to drink two beers at the bar on my way home from work. That fact was met with some degree of skepticism. Now that I'm single, however, no more skeptics. |

Our sincere thanks to those who gave up their holiday weekend!! Press Release: This past Friday and Saturday a group of licensed private investigators from NH, VT and MA, along with K-9 teams from as far as Connecticut searched wooded areas in Haverhill, NH in search of Maura Murray. Maura went missing in February of 2004 after a minor automobile accident on Rte 112 and has not been seen since. The family reached out to the Molly Bish Foundation a couple of years ago and since that time a group of private investigators has been working the case pro bono. This weekend's search was the third ground searched performed by the team for Maura's case. As information was developed just three weeks prior to the search, our usually sources of housing for the teams was not available. Local private investigator Nanci Mahoney, who was not part of the Maura Murray Task Force, donated her townhouse and obtained her neighbor's townhouse to house all the K-9 teams and some of the investigators as well as providing a home made breakfast for all Saturday at 5:30am. Shannon Door owners Tom and Tess Mulkern donated the Friday night meal for the teams. Betty Jane Newton donated a case of "Doggie Yogurt" for our K-9 partners and Starbucks Manager Kim Elliot donated the Saturday morning coffee. Without the kindness of these people this weekend could not have happened. On behalf of Maura's family, the Molly Bish Foundation, the K-9 teams and investigators I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of those who assisted us. |
Thank you Paris. I should have scrolled down. lol
I thought it was on Hellena's (sp) site. |

In light of the July 4th weekend search, what does this mean? The jig is up? What jig? |
|
Euro seems to think it's out in the same field. Is this correct? Maybe Wowzer or someone from the area knows. |

Beagle,
I never got the point of mcsmomīs comment. Iīm not sure whether it was intended as some kind of ironic jibe and/or as an expression of annoyance with this board discussing things not being deemed "politicall correct" by mcsmom. |

Sorry -
that should of course be "politicallY correct" in my recent post... |

Someone did not "apologise for saying Maura was secretive." Someone apologised for being taken out of context when she said that she "didn't want to get Maura into trouble." It wasn't in the "Mysterious Miss" article. However, I also read it. Am not at my home computer right now, so must find later. Unless Mcsmom wants to come to my rescue. Some people just fly under the radar. They keep to themselves emotionally. I know you know that, which is why you said it's not a criticism of Maura. Maybe the reason is simply "that's the way she is." As for campus visits, she may have been too busy. Nurses have a heavy course load, especially during clinicals. And, well, West Point is West Point. The reason I point these sorts of things out is not to be disagreeable, but simply to try to get people to see thigns from a different perspective. Good or bad, I'm always the person in the meeting who says, "But what if......???" |

Yeah, lots of errors. Plymouth Meeting PA? Uh.....not remotely. Not even close.

gvmeabrk,
What on earth makes you think Iīm not posting from Sweden? Donīt you think itīs possible to care about Mauraīs fate while being on another continent? Or what? Iīm at a loss here.... |
Is the July 4th weekend around the time Shack dropped the blood bomb?
The announcement of the search is as interesting for what it says as for what it does not say. Were there any results? Was LE invited? Present? Participated? Was the presumably private search team affiliated with the private mounted search and rescue group used to locate Molly Bish? Was this search team a regular team that works together frequently? Was Shamshak part of the search? Frank Kelly? Godwin? Gil Alba? Was Dragonfly there? This searching raises a lot of questions. What did they expect to find? What was found? What was not found? Who are the members of this search group? Is there any connection between the closing of the XM site and this search? |
|
Yeah, I sort of got that impression, too, but thought I was being to cynical. |
