Where is MAURA MURRAY

I don't know what the question of my driving fortitude/perseverance has to do with Maura..
But, yes ..I would drive my 95 Saturn on 3 cylinders, in February, to Woodsville, NH.... a 3 hour trip but, now that I am nearing 70 yo, I would leave at 2 to arrive at 5PM,(dark) because of my old eyesight.....However, in previous years..twaddle!..piece of cake.....! |

Hey Granny Grunt - Shack,
Done an O.J. lately?(wink) On a more serious note.......... According to the experts Maura was a victim of opportunity. The person(s) responsible for her disappearance was a stranger serial rapist. A local who lives and works in the area. Over the past four years it has been stated by one particular expert that the perpetrator has done it twice before. According to the experts Maura was murdered in an effort to conceal/destroy proof or evidence of the perpetrator's criminal actions. |
|
Side note,
I posted the above findings on Maura's forum at least twice and Helena thanked me each time I did. |
|
For those whom may not be aware, the word twice is a red flag.
A perpetrator is deemed a serial criminal after he/she/they have committed the same type of crime three times in a row. |

Hello all,
I was looking for a list of "running" races in NH and found an alphabetical compilation of annual events listed on the www.newrunner.com web site. I could only find one annual "running" race in Woodsville (in aid of the Cottage Hospital there, incidentally located on what is called Swiftwater Road)and one in Bartlett. Unlikely that Maura ever took part in either of these events, but considering the hospital connection in Woodsville, who knows??? |
Judged: 4 2 1 It is fascinating to observe the shifting loyalties, the departures and return of posters, the squabbles and partial resolutions. Not unlike the Liko Kenney/Bruce McKay threads, the immediate family of Maura Murray is apparently absent from the conversation. Note, please...I said 'immediate' family. Consider, also, the possibility that this subject and thread has taken on a life of its own. Personalities seem to be compulsively invested in the process of commenting and sleuthing that is based on fantasy as much as fact. It often appears unbalanced and irrational to observers. A similar challenge exists on the aforementioned threads that relate to Kenney/McKay/Floyd. Wild speculation can sometimes take the place of rationality. |

ADVOCATOR Thank You for finding the post. I feel better now.

The only place that comment appeared was HERE. |

Thank you. Seems, then, to a 21 year old, driving Saturn in similar condition from Amherst to Haverhill after dark in February would have been a "piece of cake," nothing to it. Local driving must have been even less of a concern? Possibly Saturn used in Amherst area more often than previously believed? Anyone know the color of Fred's Corolla? |
|
Not surprisingly, either. |

Are you referring to comment #1, sniffin or both? |
Sniffin's comment that he overheard Kathleen. Although apparently Helena is aware of this comment, so perhaps it's been said elsewhere, verbally or in print. Or maybe she read it here.

Hey, aren't you supposed to be in the dog house??? |
|
If Saturn was running adequately to use in Amherst area, why did Maura take Fred's Corolla Saturday night? Where was she going to drive Corolla on Saturday night/Sunday morning that she couldn't drive the Saturn? Or walk to? Or go with Fred to? Or take a bus to?
Any reason other than combustion failure in one cylinder to not drive Saturn locally just one day, Sunday, especially if it could be driven without too much of a problem from Amherst to Haverhill after dark one day later? Why didn't Fred just drive back Corolla to Quality Inn from ABC and Maura walk the 10-15 minutes back to her dorm? Or why didn't Fred drop Maura off at her dorm or wherever she was going? Was Corolla parked in UMass parking lot without a sticker? Parked within the SW complex? Or in visitor lot a good distance from SW? Seems excessive for Maura to take Corolla, with no UMass parking sticker, Saturday night just to elimiate a 10-15 minute walk back to campus from ABC when Fred could have given her a ride there and gone on to his motel. Didn't Fred and Maura look at cars on Saturday and were planning to look further on Sunday? |

No, Quija's in dog house. I'm on beach watching Red Sox. It's between innings just now. |

Just curious. Who were the experts? Thank you. |

I was not aware of where you had posted this information before. Not writing you off as ditz or hurt your feelings. Just wanted to know who these experts were. Nothing more. Thank you for the information. It is appreciated. |
