Just can't take a right turn as there are barricades up. Mudslide happened near the Fish and Game Club so 112 is shut off from Bradley Hill to 116. They were working on it this afternoon but when they left the barricades were still up.

SOB! scroll on by! LOL Now, if Bob would come open the bar, we'd be all set. It will give those who want to be malicious something to gossip about. iThere you go , thanks for the judges carrying through with 5 negatives, pretty negative brains.....in my opinion...by the way roads are closes in a lot of areas, including mine.

Whiston, thanks for the offer of making a copy for me, but if it isn't Citigirl,Helena, Norma or Sxxxx, I don't think I would know her anyway. Tell your wife that we/I do appreciate her computer expertise. Looking4...glad to hear that you didn't think I was being fresh to you. I meantioned the watch cuz Beth had said to me that Maura had a Gucci. I thought at the time that it would be expensive for a student. Then I remembered that Mcsmom, in her gazillion miles of travel, was checking out pawn shops for .... whatever...?..etc.

Oh OK...so Swiftwater Circle is accesible from 112 still..... I may still just go 116 to French Pond--not sure I'll find Bradley Hill in the dark! I hope my house isnt underwater!!!! Should I bring the scuba gear?

Anne, knowing this is off topic...but, perhaps it will pass as being aware of the rural area. A few weeks ago, I was visiting on Bowen Rd. He offered to show me a short cut for the trip back. I followed slipping, sliding...and was starting to think it was a joke. Finally got to Scotch xxxxx And it has been raining since... I don't know if you are near that area..but.. damn..I am staying here. (my road up there is like March "mud season")
The pictures of 112 on TV bring chills to me, because of Maura..like somewhere..somehow..I dunno

If from Lincoln get on 116/Benton RD and keep going till you come to a fork in road just beyond Benton Town Hall. Bear right and you're on Bradley Hill RD. If you live near a river or stream then you might want to bring your scuba gear. OK I'll take another one of those lemons now in the judging contest. A few more and I can make some lemonade.

getting off 93 in Lincoln--thanks for the landmarks. You know, the first time we experienced a flood in that area, I couldn't help but think what/who it might unearth. Of ocurse, I felt the same way when they drained the lakes in Mt. Lakes htis past fall/winter, and that didn't turn up anything.
Hopefully won't need to use the 4WD but will be prepared nonetheless (yet another of my hick features--I have always had a gas guzzling SUV and won't give it up) Please judge me....please please please.......let's see how creative it can get!

FireCat wrote: <quoted text> Goodness. That makes it sound rather as if you've already solved the case and know where Maura is, and are taunting us. Hopefully you aren't that sadistic. This is what I was thinking as well. I stayed online the entire day of the volunteer search hoping for some good news. Poor Earl tried to find the headquarters and couldn't so I tried to cheer him up as best as I could. RO wrote in about the red truck that day which was great. I was able to get a blow by blow description directly from her. This is why mhy opinion of the image of the red truck is so vivid. Photogirl wrote in saying that the 2006 volunteer search was a witch hunt. Never quite understood her choice of words.

Firecat,
I agree about the contents of Maura's belongings in her vehicle. It was one of those coincidences that seemed worth mentioning.
It still does not take away from the fact that women's underwear have been placed in the immediate area for Maura's family and searchers to find throughout the years though.
Thanks Shack for describing the watch Maura's dad gave her. Thanks Mcsmom for periodically checking pawn shops. I know Silky mentioned that items from buglaries in the North Country were turning up in the North End of Boston.

Looking4amoose,
After a hell ride on the Kangamangous (sp) Highway one New Years Eve '88' on the way to Loon Mountain with my best friend, I switched to 4X4 and have always had it since.
I chose the directions and that particular route seemed a straight shot to Loon Mountain Ski Resort on the map.

Maybe people should start looking at the person "helping" on another case in Franconia. It seems this suspended attorney finds raping women to be acceptable, in my personal opinion. The rape statement link: http://search.technorati.com/withhealth.blogs ... It's the 5th post down: Christopher King 1st Amendment page is the author: "Most desperate and funniest thing i have done to get the opposite sex: rape."

Heres a tip..puhleeze spew your venom where it belongs...not here with Maura....we have more than our own share of snarling..... IMO ..if CK can wake up just one little town government and its LE, perhaps other towns will better themselves (win, lose or draw) I am NOT speaking FOR this Topix about Maura, this is only from ME. Maura disappeared 4 1/2 years ago...those gathered here care about that.

Made that mistake once myself when going to a closing on the camp we owned in Lisbon...it was only mid November and got stuck in snow squalls!
