Hey Half Moon,

When I read 125 the town Raymond came to mind. My sister and brother- in-law bought their first home out that way. A beautiful new build on 3 acres of land.

The new information provided by DeRosa also includes three transactions that involve Rowland, Tomasso and Key Air, sources say: In 1999, DeRosa told investigators, he was given an attache case containing $8,000 in cash in a state Capitol parking lot by Ellef, then Rowland's co-chief of staff. The money was supposed to cover costs DeRosa incurred in purchasing and restoring a 1967 Ford Mustang as a 42nd birthday present for Rowland, the federal authorities were told.

QUIJA in response to #5639,
Wow, that thought has never occured to me. Could I have missed the word God? That could be. But, the girl was picture pefect Maura. And again, the problem that she did not speak out. I did stare Maura in the eyes for a long time. She,was also looking into mine with what I call a neutral look. I stared at both of them. The man, a very short time directly in his eyes. I believe I looked at them and checked them out, directly standing, facing them for at least 3 min. That is a LONG time. Would you just stand there under the conditions I just described and say nothing? Why did they say nothing about my staring and checking them out? I KNOW I would have said "What the heck are you looking at us for?" I just don't know anymore considering they say I did not see Maura.
My husband went into the hospital for colon cancer operation Friday, Saturday I was ill so I have been not well and busy. I do want to talk to the clerk one last time for some answers and go from there.
Probably will not be on until later this pm.
Thank goodness your husband has had the surgery, knows what he's dealing with now and you too for that matter. It's always better for the fight to know what you're dealing with.

That woman did not mumble readable words and then look at you in such a calm manner for nothing. That's just how I see this.
She was your main focus as you tried to take it all in. It doesn't surprise me that she was able to maintain her composure. People who are afraid of someone with their lives and/or who could possibly harm someone they love will do this. We most recently heard about Shawn who was abducted and kept for 4 years. He was abducted, attacked and eventually driven to an area to be strangled. But he pleaded for his life and he meant it, he would do anything to live if only this man would spare him. Upon finding out, relatives of the abductor recall seeing the boy on TV and making a comment to the still frightened Shawn who said, no way that's me..........he laughed it off.

I had someone in my store who desperately tried to make a call while the man who killed him that day was in the john. But there was no time, I was given back the phone and he shooshed me to forget he even asked. Mark picked out a hat for the fishing he thought he'd be doing but was shot at the lake from behind. I can only think he was trying to settle this himself, not involve others, get out of this somehow even though he knew. His lover had been rolled up deader than a doornail in a carpet by this monster who went on to kill Versachi, and then himself.
I wonder if this was Maura myself. My thinking was that this person was along for a drive and not trusted to stay in the vehicle herself. She would have to come in and act a certain way.
I am reminded of a drive through cashier who called police for someone mouthing for help who was being held against her will. Dru Sjodin reportedly swerved her car to avoid hitting a moving car. That witness described Dru and an old man arguing as they drove on by. Alfonzo must have been armed and Dru didn't want anyone else to get hurt is my thought.

I think it's good that you came forward. It may or may not be anything like what I've said above, but you came forward when it all came together in your mind at a later point. Whatever this was we can only hope will happen again if there is a chance.
Enough for now....

Wow, it IS a small world after all. My friend was here this weekend and we were going to take his bike on route 125 for a ride, but I said I thought it was too cold.(I'm wimpy that way) He showed up in a Bike Week T-shirt. I too live on 3 acres in a new home.
If I didn't know better, I'd think you guys knew me personally.

Mr. Rowland's donations from employees and executives at USCO Distributing and the Shannon Hotel Group, the Florida company, stood out, however, both for their size and the fact that the names are not among the usual suspects -- lobbyists, law firms and construction companies -- that regularly turn up in campaign finance reports.

Hmmmmm.........Grammar check, when I saw this post above, it made me curious as to what you are referring to. So, I went back and looked.

To my amazement, I found 3 prior postings that refer to:
*bike riding
*cold weather
*new home on 3 acres
*Route 125

This is pretty co-eenk-ee-denk-ee, huh? Elsewhere, Half Moon, what's up? These posts are:

It's Biker Week south of me at Myrtle Beach. I am thankful the weather has been great for the riders and their passangers. Couldn't help but notice how many of the men had long hair while passing by me on the highway.

I understand I am not the only one with coincidences of late. It appears another poster (actually a few) have had personal info posted w/ bits of info pertinent to them.
I would think that would be illegal. It's called cloning right?
This new digital age is scary with the attacks from those with just the right technology.

What if Maura were subject to someone having cloned her phone, able to listen in to her conversations and that scared the Dickens out of her?
Is someone who clones your phone able to use GPS to locate you anywhere?
People using such technology could also hijack your e-mail account and make it appear e-mails were sent from that computer, yet they never really were. Did someone else hijack Maura's account and send the "away due to a death in the family" e-mail?
High Tech stalkers. Let's talk about that. Alden et al...... You're good, much smarter than I, but there are those who just MAY be smarter than you. Let's open it up to discussion.
Whiston, yes, it likely did start in Amherst.
Perhaps I too should become totally transparent on the board. What do ya think?
