sh*t - we're all touchy as hell today, including me. I wanted to ask you, Just Me, who I like and find reasonable, kind and funny (and people take her words the wrong way sometimes --- but she means them the right way): You're friends with sophiebean and ladygray? Do you get the sense they're sorta trying to control this forum too? It's good when they correct the wrong facts, but sometimes they almost make me regret having Maura's disappearance "under my skin. They sometimes lash out at posters here. I hope they don't shift this forum into mostly all clones of their thrinking. What do you think, Just Me? You've always been good at mediating.
Thank you Quija, please write to me at my phoney address and I'll give you the right one after that.(mmm2long@yahoo.com) Sophie bean and Lady Grey are nice enough people and try very hard to represent all that they know to be true. I like to explore and go all over the place and that bugs some people obviously but I can't help it. I think that some day all this is going to pay off and I want to stay and try to help the only way I know how.....by keeping track, learning, asking, listening. I get discouraged when nobody answers me and I know sometimes I get the wrong message but like you Quija it's under my skin so there! I mean so there then, yah :)

Claysoup -- The logistics of your posts above were almost beyond my skills. How did you ever find those connections? Whatever way each of us is leaning as to where Maura might be, depending on the few facts that have gotten released, I agree it if that particular type of search I was going on about last week hasn't been made, doing so might eliminate that idea for good. The aerial intel person who was at the scene pointed to the map and said: Maura might've headed east and quickly realized the river is closing in on the road so she would not go that way; she could've crossed the river but couldn't have gone too far north because of house lights in distance so that might not have been remote enough; normally a place not to be found would be 1/2 to 2/3 the way up the ridge in the densest brush...(guess people usually look along rivers or valleys as well as along the top of ridges); but she might've heard dogs up over the ridge at the houses; SO, ultimately he felt she'd likely've wound up on the south side of the river northwest of SBD's (he didn't say "equidistant" but I think he meant something like that) from lights. OK, that's really it. I'd like this to be discredited and her found safe and soon, just recovered from amnesia from the accident....

Just Me --- after dinner I'll write to you at your phony address. I don't have a phony address but I guess my real one will do.

And again, anyone here who is good with computer stuff, it'd be great if you found a way for any of us to private message each other.

quija,

You're exactly right. Same goes for Wowser and JerryCanDo.

These three posters are straight-talking, level-headed people with common sense and a boat load of honest decency. If their opinions are different from the official party line... tough.
The official party line has not found Maura. I doubt it ever will.

Can't be better said.

Here's someone who actually KNOWS what he's talking about, LIVES in the area (otherwise known as the real world, not the virtual world) and DOES something about finding Maura instead of sitting home and bashing others' opinions.
That's called setting an example, a positive one!

It's all in public records. You just have to dig a little. Well, maybe a lot. What I didn't mention is that a member of my immediate family is the best friend of someone very uniquely and closely connected with the chemical company. He also employs PI's and bodyguards on a regular, ongoing basis. And that's a fact.

JerryCanDo, when CS was done making notes and after he talked with SBD about what the SBD saw, they went out for approximately 15 minutes to look for 'Maura'. This was just an initial search, nothing official. CS went in his police cruiser and SBD went in his 4x4.
CS shoulda called CSI or at least called this is to all police dept.'s in the area a young lady was missing or maybe CS shoulda followed the foot prints which he had refused to do in earlier cases!
It is a hard thing to live with for CS I am sure after he boggled this case up so bad!
We need less incompitant Police to patrol and keep us safe by us I mean everyone the off duty Police and everyone not just people they feel who should be safe as the northest especially VT and N.H. is becoming a dangerous place to live with all the horrible drugs and crime infiltrating those innocent states. In N.H. and VT there are way more innocents than most States an the people that look like they are swatting fly's are really waving to you as you drive by ok!!!!!!!!

Claysoup, you need to read about the six degrees of separation. I would bet, most of us here could link ourselves within six degrees. There may be something to what you theorize, but my instinct says you are just delving too deep. Try the six degrees experiment with someone. You'll be amazed at your findings.

Ohmy,
First, some LE who are protecting the wrong people need to be removed and then people can feel better. It is difficult w/ small police presence in the area, but even more difficult when some of those in LE are on the wrong side.ok!!!

Did I miss something? I am only asking(seriously).
You said "with her lit cigerette". Now, where did this come from? I am not asking your "opinion" as you like to give so freely. I am stating; was this on record? Someone stating she had a lit cigerette? If so, this may be a solid direction to move. Because (I may be wrong) but most atheletes, especially runners. Will have nothing to do with cigerettes. And everything I have read says she was a strong runner.
I suppose you did miss somethng as a person wwho saw Maura or a woman pretending to be Maura was seen at the MMM site and they saw a cell phone or some light or a cig ash. when the police were called and in my opinion the woman that played Maura in this screwed up saga they call the MMC.
All we can do is keep up with the evidence comming in and when the time is right strike and hit the killer withou him knowing it hahahahaha!!!!
It is going to just take longer to be able to put the killer in jil but like on tv the Ghostrider and Dick Tracy and Sherlock Holmes always get thier man and in this case men and women!!!!!!!!

After the son of a friend of mine finished his Army hitch, he came back home, shared a house with his old high school friends, got a job, and so on. He did well, but he also suffered from moderate depression. One night he drove down a nearby street so fast that when he hit the utility pole on the sharp curve he sheared off every bit of the car that was behind the engine and above the frame. The extent of the damage was impossible to comprehend. Phil died instantly. This was around midnight on a road neither quiet nor busy. About four hours later a guy who travels that road early every morning stopped at the police station to tell them that someone must have dumped off a pile of debris at the same sharp curve. The police drove by, saw the car parts, looked around the area, and found Phil dead in the grass. Those who knew Phil best, including his parents, all believe, but never say publicly, that he killed himself. A few weeks or months later his mother received a very hefty check in the mail because she was the beneficiary of her son’s surprisingly large life insurance policy, a check she would never have received had his death been ruled a suicide.

I will be removing as many dirty police as I can on the force as soon as possible!
I will keep collecting evidence to put with all the new information I have recieved and as soon as we get the ducks lined up I am going to shoot them down and charge them with the the murders of Tom Conrad and Maura Murray!

So, claysoup, did you ever divulge the name of your home planet? Did I miss that? That was pretty funny!

It was news to me yesterday or the day before to read here that the (??) 5 Liter Franzia wine box wasn't open!?!? Just damaged? It appears a receipt for the purchase of liquor in Amherst for about,$35-$37 was found in the car, but the other liqueurs were NOT found in the car? Any ideas?

Want to make a point that I'm not being judgemental -- I like liquor and probably too often I'm transporting that stuff home from the liquor store inside the car, not the trunk. A sudden stop, an accident, and you'd smell whiskey, gin or whatever for a city block.(I hate cities.) I agree with whoever said there's a possibility alcohol played no part in Maura's disappearance. But it's all just possibilities here.

Full disclosure: My home planet is Earth, but when you receive a string of unsolicited communications from a certain investigator who uses “connotatively neutral” aliases and usernames such as “carsrings” and “Michael Myers”(as in 10/31), asks you to spell “connotatively neutral” terms such as “disappear” and “disappearing,” and who also just happens to work for CUC, well, it makes you wonder just what planet you actually are on at the moment.

Is this wine box something like a box of two or three bottles of wine often purchased as a gift?

If a receipt was found, what liquor store was it from? Or can someone say, correctly, what street the liquor store was on or what other business it was near? Or more or less what area it was in? If there is a video tape of Maura at a liquor store, is the identify of the liquor store available?

claysoup - Aha - OK, I see how one's previously stable orientation on earth can be shaken....

As far as I know it was a cardboard box of wine, I think Franzia, I think 5 Liters, which does not have several bottles inside. Instead, it is filled with either a foil or heavy plastic (or combo) bladder (sorry) of wine, wine being accessible when the tap/spigot attached to it is pulled through a removable hole in the cardboard to access like a keg. There is a carrying hand-hold-hole on the top of the box.(There had to be a way to say this in far fewer words.)

You might want to check the MMMM forum because the video tape and liquor store were discussed, but now I can't remember --- just know that the tapes were not released.

This is what has been so upsetting to most people and thats the way this whole case was handled and the lack of POLICE work in this case!
Whay was it so hard to find at least alittle bit of evidence at a suspicious car accident or maybe they are withholding some info to use when the time is right so they get the right people and they will throw the book at them (the perps) with that inforation when they get enough information to convict and jail these creeps?

claysoup, It is my understanding that the video tape of Maura purchasing alcohol was never released by NHSP/Mass SP...I wanted to say I have read and reread your scenario, I find it interesting and informative.

Just me, I do remember the post of another couple stopping and talking to Maura as she asked them to call AAA. It would appear they were right in front of bus. maybe they picked up their child where the majority were left off at school.
