Where is MAURA MURRAY

Well, the night Maura had to drive to the hotel where Fred was and she hit the guardrail causing the damage to dads car. Mass, yes.
Then in NH, the rails were hit at points near the "accident" scene (MMM site)

Maura was given a ride to the Quality Inn by the tow truck from College Towing company. The officers name who responded to Mauras accident can be found at the mmm website download the Hanson Express police reports. The accident was at the T of North Maple St. There is a blinking light at this intersection. No houses nearby and Maura had left her phone back at Sarah's. The reason for the accident was cited as driver inattention. 10k to passenger side damage from hitting the guardrail.

thanks< we can always count on you for good notes. I'm so relieved but (once upon a time) I was told the tow truck outfit did not drive Maura. The rest was told to me by my relocated New Hampshire hick.

That did not sound right......it's just I'm at work and the local Sherrif just came in and I hit send in panic......I should be working :)guilty :)(OH MY). I do not trust many police because of imposters........
I just want to thank everybody now for when you relate with me and I'm glad we are working on things as well as we are.

A long while ago i looked up the arresting officer at Maura's Hadley accident on the way to her dad's motel and that officer seemed like quite a good person, active in the community, etc. If you check the accident report mcsmom mentioned and find his name and google him, you'll see he seems like a real good man. I'd look elsewhere ---- IMO.

OK, whiston, are you saying that Maura was fleeing a crime in MA? Is that why you're so interested in what happened in MA?

hi sophie been and all .no i am not saying that Maura was fleeing a crime scene.i am still not sure she knew nothing about Petrit Vasi on feb 05 2004..feb 03 she was in norwwod late.eb 04 she was in holyoke, early. both times for clinicals.we dont know if she used the saturn to travel.we have one person saying it was in bad shape,maybe it was. who did she commute with.not looking at her prior life is nuts.that is like only studying the criminal from the point they commit a crime and nothing prior.i am interested in M.A.because we know so little about it and i think we should have known a lot more a long time ago.take care philip

We can only surmise what Fred was trying to say, but why doesn't he just come out and say where she was headed or why he thought she might be headed to the Haverhill area to take her own life?

She was obviously upset about something that she wasn't sharing with her friends or family members. The questions remain on what exactly that was.

hi all .i know this maybe came up before did Mauara use her phone on feb 09 04 or did someone else have access to it. i am assuming she needed a code to access her messages.also the 280 dollars taken from the a.t.m. she could have spent close to half of that 280 dollars at the condoin bartlett in one night.so was she meeting someone. was she planning on going back to amherst sooner than she told her teachers.did she have more money than we know about. did she have a free place to stay .maybe a key from someone back at amherst.it sounds like mrMurray would see mrMurray about once amonth and they would go hiking or running was this a year round thing. i am wondering how much free time Maura had and that is why i want to know what her schedule was.did she have commitments to school in amherst that would keep her there every day.how do you find out if someone was assaulted in there prior lfe without speaking to them thats a mystery right there. take care philip

Perhaps, the belief that she might have taken her own life was easier initially to accept and say out loud than the horrifying thoughts of what someone else may have done to your child?

but as an initial response? I would think it would have been more likely to say "Oh yes, she may have come up here to find peace--we hiked a lot in this area together or words to that effect

If Maura's Saturn hit Vasi, then either Maura or someone else was driving it. Here's one possible scenario if the Saturn, driven by an Unsub, hit Vasi.

Unsub: 1) Drives Saturn late Thursday night. 2) Stops somewhere on Chestnut Street east of Eames Place, Gray Street, Taylor Street, or Mattoon Street. 3) Drives down Mattoon, a one-way street, to Triangle Street. 4) Looks left, does not stop, continues with right turn toward campus. 5) Hits Vasi, whose leg dents front bumper/hood area and whose head hits windshield upper left corner. 6) Does not stop. 7) Parks car at unknown location. 8) Tells Maura about hitting Vasi, possibly threatening to blame Maura for hitting Vasi if Maura tells police.

Maura: 1) Keeps Vasi hit-and-run a secret. 2) Pays Fred urgent visit at Quality Inn early Sunday morning. 3) Calls Billy.

Saturn: 1) Windshield cleaned. 2) Driven north by Maura, accompanied by Unsub in truck. 3) Damaged at left front by truck to hide original dent left by Vasi’s leg, setting off airbags. 4) Abandoned in Haverhill as if stolen in order to avoid charges of hitting Vasi.

Maura gets into truck driven by Unsub, who returns to MA. Maura disappears between Haverhill NH and Amherst MA.

Possible conclusions: 1) Unsub knew Maura well enough to either borrow her car or simply take it. 2) Unsub lived or visited someone on Chestnut, Gray, or Taylor Streets; or met someone in parking lot at Mattoon Street near ARHS. 3) Unsub, with no fear of being contradicted, could tell police Maura was driving the Saturn when Vasi was hit. 4) Unsub owned or had access to a truck or knew someone who did.

Obviously, logical flaws or a variety of physical evidence could contradict this scenario. Also, the order of some of events could be changed to yield different results. But overall, if Maura's Saturn did hit Vasi, then it would be important to determine whether Maura was at her security job or not. If she was, which has been indicated, then who could have driven her car and relied on Maura to keep quiet about it?

Is there any physical evidence connecting the Saturn to the Vasi hit-and-run?

Ya know, this is a fairly plausible scenario. Maura was in fact working her security job the night Vasi was hurt, and based on information discussed on the MMM site, it doesn't appear she could have been absent from that job long enough to have been driving her car. But someone else could have driven it, with or without her permission.

A thought on the Saturn possibly hitting Vasi -- driver could have hit Vasi a glancing blow, swerved and struck a streetside pole, or the back end of a parked vehicle, would explain the Saturn's damage. We've never learned whether or not Fred saw the Saturn that weekend, he came down to Amherst to take Maura car shopping for a replacement for the Saturn. Assuming he didn't see it, maybe Maura was just so panicky that she wanted to get the Saturn "away" before anyone noticed the damage.

What is the connection between Haverhill and Maura?
I was told that the Murray family had a cabin in that area or rented one, is that true? I also heard Maura had a friend on Lime Kiln Rd. in Haverhill, is that true.
If I am to find out the real truth about what happened to her I need to know who Mara knew up in Haverhill.
I was told there was a Father and son team one had a name of Richard that were involved in the disappearance of Maura.
Everyone in the Haverhill N.H. area want closure to this just the same as the Murray family does because there could be some people up there that are hurting people or worse and it scares alot of the locals especially young women!
All the small towns up there are adding extra police to thier towns where there were never full time police as they are scared that one of thier own could end up like Maura!
The problem is if Maura wouldn't take a ride with a man that was passing by the staged or the last scene where her car was found would she take a ride from a Policeman or was this all staged, alot of questions and with not alot of answers!
I have an idea what happened but until I can prove it I will not say what it is as it involves another case and not the case you all are talking about in Mass.!
Time will tell and I believe it could be closer than we think I hope!
