It is apparent that you have apparently hijacked this thread. I am saddened by that revelation. I went 10 pages back from this page and you posted 50 percent of the posts. I truly wished you would look at what you are doing and take a new direction.

When did this turn into a media event? I understood it to be for anyone that wanted to meet the PI's and talk about theories and opinions and perhaps give the opportunity for someone to come forward with any information.
It should have been made very clear from the start that it was an anniversary gathering with media and reporters invited so people could decide if they wanted their picture on the front page of the local paper.
I hope DD is aware of this gathering.

Wowzer - I think some misunderstanding here. I had put a post up a few weeks back that I thought we could help the Murrays by getting more media exposure. The 5th anniversary would be a good time. This is NOT to create a distraction in Haverhill - whatsoever - this is just to get the word out there - someone knows something. Just trying to get justice for the Murrays. Not bring havoc to DD at all. Sorry for the mix up.

I'm just trying to get more newspapers across the county to run the story. Just like with other missing persons cases - national coverage helps - Elizabeth Smart is a perfect example.

Also - I am in Seattle - so I am contacting the Bellingham Herald and Seattle PI. I will not be traveling to New Hampshire. The event at DD is to meet with Weeper and Det C - not a media event. These are TWO seperate items. Hope that makes sense. :-) good night. Dawn

If I misunderstood then I apologize but the only gathering I was aware of was with Weeper and Columbo on Feb. 9th.

The Saturn-at-the-Weathered-Barn scenario is not the only movie at the Cineplex. How can any single poster possibly interfere with an investigation by posting theories on a thread like this? If it's quiet on the thread and just about no one else is posting, which is most of the time, then should a poster not use the time available to him? What if more people participated on this thread, as they do on many others, and they argued more of an Amherst perspective than a Haverhill one? Would you then say that there are too many posters on this thread?

Facts and theories that center on Amherst still unnerve a lot of posters, but relentless and repetitive nonsense about Haverhill seems totally fine with them. Why is that? Same old, same old.

The fact that there is still a strong effort to turn off the Amherst perspective says a lot. It says that info relating to Amherst is putting somebody on edge.

50 percent of the posting does not indicate an over abundance of posts by a single poster. It indicates an absence of posts by others who are always free to post just as often.

If Maura emailed her professors and boss about her desire to take some time off, would that email not have been looked at my the family and investigators? What did it say? When was it sent? Did it match her IP address? Has her boss been contacted to see which gallery she worked in? Was her boss at the gallery the same one as the job in the dorm? Probably not.

Lookingfor ...all such good simplistic questions....the answers, to me, would not hinder
any investigation. Such great simplistic questions that might be answered by HPD,
NHSP, UM Police, family, PI's ...?(too bad they couldn't all work together for the
good) Seems like basic investigating.....but, what do I know....sigh....

The most frustrating thing about this case for me is that there are so many simple questions with simple answers that have been denied to us even though those simple answers would have no apparent impact on any person's privacy and yet we are denied access to those answers.

Like the mythological character eternally chained to pushing a rock up a hill, we are limited to speculating and playing the what-if game with hypothetical facts until the end of time because we have been denied access to real facts and there is nothing else we can do.

I havn't been on this post in quite some time, when I come here my heart aches for the Murray family as they see no end in sight.. I hope that changes soon.
I hope somehow that the people who post in here keep in mind what is written is read and we should keep in mind to stick to the facts of this case and how badly this case was handled!
As well thinking of the feelings of the loved ones of Maura!

To all if I may,

My post earlier about going up to Haverhill/Woodsville on 02-09-09 was simply to give anyone who would like to meet for coffee an opportunity to put a face-to-a-name so to speak. I have no intention to be interviewed by the media. I have been going up there each year since I became envolved in this matter in 2005, as had Det. Columbo and we will continue to do so. It is also an opportunity for you to meet one another if you wish to do so, if not, don't show up. We do not need anyone's permission to meet for coffee at a coffee shop nor do we need to notify the media, police department or anyone else to do so.

Oh My - I posted an article awhile back. I will have Advocater put it on the new site. Maura is not on America's Most Wanted site - nor would they air her story - the NHPD refused to give them the police report so they did not air it. The Murray's still provided AMW with a CD - however, they don't air stories without info from LE. Which I think is very odd since they are treating this as homicide now.

I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I want to thank Weeper and Det Columbo for their tireless VOLUNTEER efforts on this case. Let 2009 be the year we solve this case for the Murrays.
