They request would go to Sprint. They would identify - what carrier - not as easy as it use to be - each carrier was assigned npa-nxx - area code and prefix - then around 00-01 line number portabilty was avail. you could take your number with you across carriers.

I do think the Wiki author meant well and appreciate their hard work. I just think false info was fed to them

It's the sworn affadavit by Landry. We were discussing it on or around 10/18 according to my records.......so, that should narrow down the search.

Sprint would then contact the other carrier - and thennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn we go from there.

I would like to see a pdf or scan of the offical document - not transcripton.

facts are missing from this entire thread, specific to Maura Murray's disappearance.
the discussion is, admittedly, built around speculation in the absence of factual information.

What can be made of it?
Whether friend or foe of Maura´s, wouldn´t it be quite reasonable to assume that the driver of the red truck might have been actively searching for Maura?
Ideas?

Supporting Affidavit for Issuance of Search Warrant I, Todd D. Landry, do hereby depose and say;

1. That I am currently employed by the State Police and have been for the past ten years. Currently, I am assigned as a Detective at Trooop- F in Twin Mountain, NH. I have received extensive training in the investigation of criminal matters.

2. That on February 9, 2004 at 1927 hours the Haverhill, NH Police Department responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle crash on Route 112 in Haverhill, NH. Upon arrival, Sgt. Cecil Smith was unable to locate the driver of the vehicle. Subsequent investigation determined that the driver of the vehicle was MAURA MURRAY (d.o.b. 05/04/82), 22 Walker Street, Weymouth, MA.

3. A witness at the scene later confirmed that the driver was MURRAY.

4. An extensive search of the area has been conducted and MURRAY has not been located.

5. During the course of this investigation, Cellular Telephone records have been obtained by Law Enforcement that were used by MURRAY. A representative from Sprint Corporate Security advised this affiant that during the late afternoon hours of February 9, 2004an outgoing telephone call was made to Murray from the Londonderry, NH Sprint tower. This call had to have been made from within a 22 mile radius of the tower. The identity of this caller and telephone number has not been made as of this date.

6. That identifying the caller of the telephone call could be pertinent to the ongoing investigation and may lead to the whereabouts of Maura Murray.

7. Based on the foregoing, there is probable cause to believe evidence in the suspicious disappearance of Maura Murray may be found through Sprint Wireless Cell Tower Telephone Records, including any outgoing calls from the Londonderry tower of Sprint to Maura Murrays Sprint PCs number ********** for February 9, 2004 from 0001 hours to 2400 hours.

they had to know the number to get that information. There isn't a date. I will finally let this go. I do recommend people to research on how carriers get detailed info

I think seeing the actual document would be helpful. This is not standard format. I will try to find a copy of what is actually sent. There are exhibits. etc. It is coded similar to a lawsuit/divorce . etc. The verbage is very differnt. It is not fluffy - cold hard facts. They need that so they don't get sued.

Last post on this unless we hear from weeper/columbo/white wash or see the document.

Dawn, the Murrays DO NOT edit that site. I want to say it was advocate who posted it, but I have no idea. You can actually look that up on Wikipedia, and find out who edits any given stub or entry. I'm kind of a WikiP noob, though, so that's about all I know.

Well, the one truth about participating in public forums is not to believe anything one may read in print.
Information will often be gathered, presented, and crafted to represent a certain point of view.
An agenda, if you will.

Rumor and speculation mixed with a smattering of factual information are not reliable sources from which to draw reasonably accurate conclusions.

IF information is retained and withheld or only PARTIALLY revealed at a convenient time by forum participants, then this is dishonest, and suggests an attempt to influence public sentiment, beliefs, or opinions.

The Murray family has been accused of not sharing by way of gaps and omissions...but it is equally possible their accusers have failed to share, as well.

This, and the fact that parties do not trust each other, has sustained roundabout conversations for a period of 5 years.
None of this helps in "finding Maura".

I would caution anyone to look closely and consider original sources of information while always maintaining a degree of skepticism relative to this discussion.

I would hope that the Detectives will check to see if this Stanger guy was in NH 2004!

I can't find where the new information on the red truck is on the other site. Could someone write the header it is under on the other site? Thank you.
If this is true, could that be why police were stopping red trucks before any knowledge of RO's red truck story? Could it be possible that this red truck was the " she left in a POV" I know I am jumping ahead, but perhaps they(LE) wanted to keep the red truck a secret because it is way more important than we ever thought.

I don't know if PI's have access to department of motor vehicles - it would be helpful to know IF Stanger had access to a red truck.

Thanks Snowy- it is helpful to know what has been going on is not something new. The fact it has gone on for 5 years is concerning. Didn't anyone other than Snowy ask for facts? Hard evidence - that is common sense when approaching a mystery. You first outline the facts - with info to back them up. Then move on to "possible" theories. Most important the PI's use and have used profilers. Weeper did mention profilers being used and would bet that LE has as well.

Also - with Wenatchee Child Sex ring - featured on 60 minutes - this is my home town - you want to believe the children - everyone hated LE ... then we found out - they were wrong and coached and LE coached the kids and they were in the wrong. LE could be wrong. I think putting pressure on the Govt would be a worthwhile effort.. as you know I sent a letter a few days after CNN had Maura Murray - on their webpage. I do like to keep her name out there. A stranger on this site might not even know what we are talking about half the time
