Okay.. this makes NO SENSE. I thought LE were keeping information to themselves because this was CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION. WHICH IS IT?

To the extent that UMass-Amherst PD investigates cases according to the wishes of DA Elizabeth D. Sheibel, I think it is very possible that UMass will proceed very "cautiously" - as in real, real slowly - with the Murray case.

Scheibel is head of the Trustees of the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts (CFWM). There are indications that someone connected to CFWM, loosely or closely, may have been involved in the Bish case. So I doubt Sheibel would want to see CFWM involved in even a distant way if there wasn't an absolutely airtight case.

But, Sheibel also has a very strong interest in the world of adoption. Where do many if not most of the highly sought after adopted children (usually white) of college students come from? From pregnancy counseling centers near colleges. Like Birthright of Amherst Area, Inc.(Located, incidentally, near where Vasi was found.) And it is quite clear that abortion opponents in western Massachusetts have a very, very strong interest in the disappearance of Maura Murray.

So DA Sheibel may have a couple of reasons to make sure that any investigation that might involve someone associated with the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts and/or Birthright of Amherst Area, Inc. goes ahead really, really carefully. Like really, really slowly.

I'm not saying Sheibel is deliberately retarding the investigation into Maura Murray's disappearance. But a detective might well be concerned about Scheibel's potential wrath if a possible suspect becomes associated in the press with two of her areas of community interest, especially if it might compromise her future political career. That detective might not want to spend the rest of his career directing traffic because he didn't bring an airtight case to the DA's office. Just imagine if Rodney Stanger were associated, however loosely, with the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts and Birthright of Amherst Area, Inc. That would be a political nightmare.

So if UMass PD, in effect, operates under Sheibel's control regarding important criminal cases, and if UMass PD is leading the investigation into Maura Murray's disappearance, then the case might not get solved real fast.

And that doesn't count any embarrassment if UMass patent and financial interests are involved. There's certainly ample evidence of that possibility, too.

If anyone wants some assistance in understanding the circumstances under which Maura Murray disappeared, he or she can find a gentleman in Springfield who might help. I'm not saying that absolutely he'll help out, but if he can, then the investigation into Maura's disappearance might progress a lot faster. It's definitely worth a try.

Public records irrefutably demonstrate a clear corporate connection among
1. the school bus company (Haverhill NH);
2. the ambulance company (Haverhill NH);
3. an office across the street from Maura Murray's dorm cluster (SW);
4. the retainer paid to John Regan's attorney;
5. a significant source of bribes in the Rowland case;
6. a businessman with intense business interests in Saratoga Springs and Austin TX;
7. the owner of the property where the Saturn could well have been parked Thursday through Sunday nights;
8. and at least 60 percent of the Molly Bish Reward Fund.
Not to mention an Amherst "natural supplement" company owned by two leading Amherst pro-lifers prior to its having been purchased by a company that appears to have close ties to a sprawling manufacturing company, Espey, which is located almost next to Saratoga Springs High School.

Not to mention that someone within Espey has a residence in the same building from which came a series of old track medals. These track medals were offered through the same place of business as were offered the books revealing a connection between the child rapist and the Bish endorsed search and rescue team. Plus one of the two pro-lifers mentioned above has a clear connection to the same place of business.

Plus this same place of business possessed near proof that one of the leading international voices for the repeal of mandatory abortion in China was engaged in child porn or at least engaged in homosexual activity and pornography. All of which evidence was seized by the FBI immediately following its notification that the material found its way out of a Somerville storage unit to western MA with the unlikely assistance of someone at the Fairbanks Center for Chinese Studies at Harvard.

And all this, like everything else posted above, is a FACT.

Presumably, the dump truck was blocking the entrance to Comins Pond? Or was at least making travel in and out of the parking area inconvenient? Would this be true? Was the lot empty (on June 27?) because the dump truck was there? What kind of dump truck? Like a regular one or a tractor trailer style dump truck?

So let's say a nice smart college girl gets pregnant by a nice smart college boy and they decide to put the child up for adoption. They've received lots of help from a local non-profit, pro-life, pregnancy counseling center such as Birthright of Amherst Area, Inc.

So how much does a private adoption agency make on the deal? Or, where allowed by law, a facilitator?

Anyone recall the case of a Chosen Child facilitator in Longboat Key, Florida who took money from a NH woman but never provided the child? Took the money and ran? In fact, she used to work out of a location easily associated with the Rowland corruption case. Small world.

My opinion is the LE in MA are deliberately dragging their feet. I also believe that a MA PI who has investigated Maura Murray's disappearance has loyalties at odds with a solution to Maura's disappearance.

Maura's disappearance is directly related to the pro-life movement in western Massachusetts and Connecticut. There are extreme opponents of abortion who are very interested in her case, but not very interested in a public disclosure of what happened to her.

Murphysboro,

You've got a mind of your own, judge for yourself.

Lt. John Scarinza of New Hampshire State Police Troop F said police know Murray had e-mailed her employer she was taking a week off for a family emergency.

"We don't know if Maura is a victim, but the state is treating it as a potential homicide," said Senior Assistant Attorney General Jeffery Strelzin.

Jeffery Strelzin, the head of the state Attorney General's homicide unit, said .........

The defendants have denied the request, citing an exception in the law created by the New Hampshire Supreme Court for law enforcement investigative files.Police and the attorney general's office maintain that the release of other records could result in the destruction of evidence and witness intimidation.

http://www.courts.nh.gov/cstream/index_2006.a...

Sterlzin is quoted on the stand under oath stating there was a 75% chance of a conviction.

I'm too tired and disgusted to find it right now.

Oops sorry Murphysboro,

All but the last two sentences in my last post are actual quotes from articles.

The link I provided is the link to the audio/video file of the Supreme Court hearing regarding Mr. Murray requesting documents and files pertaining to Maura's investigation.

As a parent, I recommit to Maura on this fifth year, my compassion and concern for her and her family, along with appreciation for ALL who have worked tirelessly on their behalf, regardless of their beliefs and opinions.

I do not believe there is evidence of an element of her life so heinous, criminal or abusive as to drive her away from her loved ones.

As a mother, my emotional database calls up the likely scenario that she was taken against her will.

Having come from the culture of an extended family, I believe that if she had taken leave voluntarily, she would have rethought that option and would have contacted someone in her family by now.

It is possible she was able to mask extreme distress which escaped her friends and loved ones, and that she intended to take her life. There is no evidence, to date, that this played out.

Her world was infused with contacts who might have sensed or predicted her distress...unless, as suspected, a momentous circumstance occurred suddenly, and was being managed by her alone, or with the help of at least one other. Someone knows.

I believe she was/is unable, not unwilling, to reappear.

These, the circumstantial, emotional dynamics of her life until that day. Her living memory, to me, remains that of a beautiful young woman.

Frankly, I would care a whole lot less if there were 2000 Aldens if any "one" of them had a shred of evidence rather than an agenda.

For example:
"Maura's disappearance is directly related to the pro-life movement in western Massachusetts and Connecticut. There are extreme opponents of abortion who are very interested in her case, but not very interested in a public disclosure of what happened to her."

This is NOT fact, although it is stated as fact. There is no shred of evidence that this ha any relevance to Maura's case and is a waste of our time. Bringing the question of abortion into the mix only polarizes people and deflects attention from FACTS. There is ZERO evidence that abortion has anything whatsoever to do with this case. I don't doubt that a paranoia about being watched by these imaginary criminal groups is a "cause" of the multiple personalities, but we are not here to provide counseling for paranoia. We are here to find out what happened to Maura.

Thank you, Snowy, for your thoughtful post.
