Beagle, I have heard you say this many, many, MANY times. First Student bus company. Check. Maura's dorm. Check. Butch the Bus Driver. Check. And no. I don't think there's anything there more than a loosely woven together series of coincidences. There are First Student bus offices ALL OVER THE FREAKIN' PLACE. From their corporate web site: First Student Inc. Corporate Headquarters 600 Vine Street Suite 1400 Cincinnati, OH 45202 We are the leading school bus operator in North America and Canada with a fleet of more than 60,000 buses. Every school day First Student safely carries 3.3 million students to and from school across North America. We operate in 40 US states and 9 Canadian provinces. We operate 722 locations in North America and Canada. 722 locations, Alden. That's a lot. One of them happens to be in Amherst. Yippee. While we're at it, why don't we assume it's the Texas/South regional fleet manager for First Student, because his first name is Fred, just like Maura's dad? Once again, you're making a connection that is not there. LOL. That's REALLY spooky about that First Student fleet manager and Maura's father. Both named Fred. Coincidence? Yeah, maybe. Dude, this is an x-file.

Did John Regan have a residence in West Chesterfield NH and happen to know a certain Eugene Van Bowman who has a connection to Tina and Bethany Sinclair?

After reading Firecat's post and being most certain that Paris and Beth were good friends, I went back and found these messages. Post by Just Me, message # 473 at p. 24. “My name by the way was Paris on the MMM and dearheart on Brianna's. I stopped posting when I felt I was not being acknowledged. But thanks to my friend Beth I learned all about the reason and rhyme and now I understand. I'm not trying to hide anything by calling myself just me. Sometimes I realize that's all I am.”:) Post by Quija, message # 490 at p. 25: “I figured you were friends with Beth when I saw where you came from. I'm so sorry for the loss of your precious friend. She seemed the most wonderful person devoting her life to helping others. And --- I always carefully read Paris's posts!” Post by Just Me (Paris) Message 494 at p. 25: “Thanks guys for kind words and yes, it hurts to be without Beth. She was humble and lovable.” I recall other references but haven’t found them yet. These should suffice to contradict the person who posted as Paris on the subject of Beth. I will continue reviewing and get back to ya'll if I find anything. Fred Just my opinion.. but I took that banter back & forth as Dawn messing with Mason. If you noticed the only other person posting to "Paris" was Dawn. I don't ever recall Paris being nasty.

The short conversation between Dawn and Paris sound like they know eachother which I doubt is the case since Dawn is fairly new to the forum. After reading the last few days of posts I am beginning to wonder if anyone here is who or what they say they are.

With all due respect, the only things that should matter and be the focus of the forum are the facts revolving around Maura's disappearance.
Focusing on who is who, who said what, and why sort of detracts from the purpose of why we are all here.
I admit, I've allowed myself to get caught up in the BS. If someone wants to think I'm Firecat so bit it. I respect Firecat so I'll take that as a compliment.
The Volunteer Private Investigators are who they say they are and that's all that matters as far as I'm concerned.

It's hard to focus though when supposedly grown men are swearing, fighting and arguing like two children with each other or maybe themselves and bury the useful posts with their idiotic fighting. Doesn't it make you wonder why they have hijacked the forum and are burying the facts?

Paris, I was not the one questioning whether your prior posts were authentic. Firecat stated that she'd give you a call and I figured I'd leave it up to her. I apologize if you felt offended. I thought about telling everyone that you called me yesterday morning but I figured with the tone of the forum in the late people would accuse me of making it up and God knows what else. This is certainly not directed at you but I am tired of the crap and craziness and I've been the fence about washing my hands of this forum altogether for some time now. I am glad you came on and confirmed for yourself. Please know your mother is in my prayers and she is lucky to have such a loving daughter as yourself.

I think I agree with both Elsewhere and Snowy in their recent posts, although they appear to disagree. Focusing on who, as Elsewhere states, does indeed distract from the point because the who behind each post is about as much insoluable mystery as what happened to Maura. I could be what I say I am, or something else. Same as everyone. With certain excetions, there is no reasonable way for anyone to know, so take what you like of my posts and leave the rest. Same for everybody else. But I also agree with Snowy that (and I paraphrase here, forgive me Snowy if I distort) where a poster is non-credible and aggressive, they impair the exchange of valid information and ideas here. So it does matter who says what about who they are, particularly if they use such statements to elevate the perceived value of their comments. In a way, I don't see a disagreement between Elsewhere and Snowy. This because I think they both seek to promote a focus on good information. Elsewhere seems to espouse the idea of just ignoring the incredible, annoying posts and culling for the valuable ones. Snowy seems to espouse the idea of calling out the BS (again Snowy, forgive me if I have misinterpreted). I myself have engaged both concepts. It is really hard to not want to tell someone to shut up when they are (intentionally or not) making a mockery of this forum by imposing their psychological needs on it by fictionalizing themselves and propagating a lot of BS. On the other hand, the shortest route to good information exchange is just to ignore these aberrant voices. I do my best to do the latter, but sometimes ...
