Judged: 4 3 2 Thanks, Advocator. I didn't ask for this war, but now that they've started it, I'm going to finish it. Apparently, they didn't realize that I saw this storm approaching and prepared for it by developing a paper trail they cannot controvert. They also underestimated my commitment to Maura and my willingness to publish my home address, telephone number, and email addresses. Since that information matches the information that also is available for anyone in the world to see on the WSBA website, perhaps they are beginning to realize that by doing the unthinkable, I have eliminated any chance that they will pull off their fraudulent caper. If they're smart, they will realize tomorrow, if not before, that the war is over because they have no smoke left to blow and they will find no cover in which to hide. The longer they persist the harder they will fall. One already has bullet-proof civil exposure to liability for defamation and another is very close to being in the same predicament. We will have to wait and see if they are willing to commit acts that will expose them to criminal liability. If they're smart, they will lawyer-up, it will be all quiet on the midwestern front, and we can return to address the matter that brought all of us together. No one should assume that only two people are involved in this attack, just as no one should assume that I committed suicide, if I should be found dead or disappear. I'm playing hardball. The question is what game are they playing and what is their level of commitment. The answers to those questions may or may not be related to what happened to Maura. I intend to pursue that avenue of inquiry as far as possible. I will sleep well tonight. Many blessings to you and the people you love. Fred |

Judged: 4 4 4 At this point, perhaps, we need to start a new forum for issues that ARE related to Maura's disappearance. Good luck to those of you invested in this forum for non psychotic reasons. I have become bored with the forum, although not its obstensible purpose. Hope you folks who are interested in the actual topic will drop me a line on the other, more meaningful site. I could not make my trip to NH this week as I had hoped, because work stuff got in the way. Am going to try to do it soon. Again, if anyone is interested in discussing with me, please contact me via the other site. Best wishes. |

Judged: 1 1 1 The Red Truck stopped on Bradley Hill Road and the driver of the truck exited the vehicle. The right front driver's side tire on Maura's Saturn was flat when it was initially inspected by one of the private investigators. Said Private Investigator believes the tire may have been knocked off the rim while being loaded off the flat bed. If you look at the photos of the Saturn at the NHSP impound the right front tire has been filled/repaired. It was noted that in early photographs there was an U-Mass parking permit Maura's Saturn. More recent photos reflect the parking permit had been removed. Mr. Murray is quoted as saying evidence from the summer of '08' search of the Mountain Lakes area was obtained. At least that's how I read it. A medium has spoken to the team of PI's and has also visited the immediate are of the crash site. I recall Weeper having his doubts about medium, psychics, and remote viewers so I smiled while reading John Healy's statements about his and the other PI's experience with the medium disclosing personal facts about the private investigators themselves. The soda bottle found beneath the Saturn filled with a red liquid smelling strongly of alcohol - per the responding officer - had been sent to the lab and tested. This was recently disclosed on the other forum by White Wash who has also stated that LE has stated on numerous forums they have tested evidence. The only evidence I was aware LE tested were the pair of underwear Maura's sister Kathleen found placed on top of the snow on a remote trail leading to French Pond. LE tested the underwear but the results came up inconclusive. Given the size of the underwear Maura's family believes they did not belong to her. Please also note that it was disclosed on Maura's forum the underwear were ripped/cut into two pieces. |

Judged: 1 1 1 I think it was implied in the word "novel" which is by definition fictional. Or it could have simply been a reference to a very long piece of writing. Oh god, who called the nerd police? I'm going back in my hole how. |

White Wash confirmed that LE has sent all evidence to the lab for testing. This does not necessarily mean testing has been done.(I know labs get backlogs of stuff--I don't know if they get five years' worth of backlog, but whatever.) I also have not heard confirmed yet that LE actually took the soda bottle in as evidence. One can certainly HOPE they have, since it's been mentioned as evidence a number of times, but that crucial link is missing.(the same way it is missing in the airbags-tested-for-Maura's-DNA scenario) I don't know whether that's White Wash assuming, White Wash asking us to assume, White Wash obfuscating, or simply White Wash's personal style of writing. In any case, in a situation such as this where so much that was assumed turned out to be false, I for one need to hear each step of the way confirmed. My own personal chain-of-evidence, if you will. And yes, John Healy's responses were fun to read!:) |

Judged: 2 1 1 I respect you, Philip. I apologize, but if you take a moment and put yourself in my position, I think you will understand why I believe this matter has to be addressed and resolved ASAP so that we can get back on track. I did not ask for this fight, but I will finish it. If you do not agree with me, that's okay. People can criticize me all they want for the decision that I've made. I can live with such criticism, but it will not deter me from my goal, which is to end, once and for all, the bad faith effort to swiftboat me. I will excuse you for your derisive and unnecessary insult because I know your heart is true. There is nothing you or anyone else can say that will stop me. This is personal and yet it affects all of us because I am the victim of an orchestrated attack to destroy my reputation, my honor, and my credibility through the deliberate use of lies. If it works with me, you may be the next victim. Respectfully, Fred |

Judged: 2 1 Part One WHEN DID MAURA DECIDE TO LEAVE? WHY DID SHE GO TO HER SUNDAY AFTERNOON GALLERY JOB AFTER LITTLE SLEEP SAT. NIGHT? WHY WAS HER PACKING SO SKETCHY FOR HER TRIP? Why would Maura have bothered going to her part-time job at the (on-campus-most-likely) art gallery on Sunday afternoon if she had barely any sleep the night before or if she knew at that point she was leaving UMass or not coming back at all, even to get her last checks later in the week???? Why bother showing up at work? It seems that up until she arrived at the gallery at (?)2:00PM her actions were "business as usual". The final trigger for her to leave Monday must have happened between 2PM and 11:30PM Sunday night (when the trip searches began on her computer). It appears that whatever happened Thursday night at her Security Desk job kept her from having to report to that job again on Friday, Sat or Sunday nights? Her supervisor must have been aware that Maura was upset and it was understood she wouldn't work her next shifts????? So, IIRC (and I may NOT), Maura emailed the art gallery to say she'd be gone a week because of a death in the family? But she didn't email Security? So was that decided between Maura and her supervisor on the walk-back to Maura's dorm? Why did she go to the art gallery job Sunday afternoon? It wasn't to talk to her friend who worked there and vent about the car accident, because she didn't even mention it Was there someone else there Maura wanted to see? Or on Sunday afternoon did Maura still not have a plan to leave on Monday? Did she still have the Security Desk job, or was Thursday night her last night? Was she so overtired that she couldn't stay awake at that job and she didn't intend to continue that job? Or that her being distraught caused her supervisor to suggest she seek counseling and perhaps not return?(I need to go back and see which job she emailed and which she did not.) A number of posters agree that it's unlikely Maura was planning to return to UMass after the embarassing and uncharacteristic display at her security job, her untruth about the death in the family and having a roommate, as well as the way her room was packed up. So.... maybe she didn't make her final decision until after her gallery job. We know she talked to her dad that night around 11PM for about (?) 20 minutes and then began some computer searches for get-away spots. Was it late Sunday night Maura made the decision to leave Monday, either to get away and think about what direction her life would take, or to leave for good? |

Judged: 2 1 1 Her trip north seemed unplanned -- as far as we know she started thinking about it (computer searches) about 16 hours before she left. Some of those 16 hours she'd have had to catch up on some sleep. Billy's mom said Maura worked that day on a "group paper" of which she wanted to complete her part. She didn't pack normally at all. I once listed all the things you'd think she'd take if she planned.... if she had planned ANYthing, like hiking, visiting someone... She'd bring things like binoculars, flashlight, music player, extra batteries, camera, compass, first aid kit, signal mirror and whistle, boots, more clothes, etc. etc. Any chance the stuff in the car was just random stuff and not things she packed for a week off? Under what circumstances would Maura take so little with her after notifying profs and boss(es) that she'd be away a week.? I don't think she'd want to be seen on campus before CLOSE TO A WEEK was up in case she ran into a prof or boss!! So the idea that she was planning to be gone for a just couple days ($280 worth of days away) doesn't make sense, because she couldn't really return to campus. Where else could she go with so little stuff and money? By the time she bought liquor, some food, and gas, she probably didn't have much over $200 left. THIS WAS NOT A PLAN. THIS WAS NOT A PLANNED TRIP BY HERSELF. This was something else, and I sure don't know what. She wasn't heading in the direction of Ohio. She wasn't headed toward the nearest airports, was she? Was she thinking when she got into the Saturn of going home or to Fred's? NOT ONE PERSON has said if Maura had a friend in NH or VT or if she didn't!!!! That is not a hard question. If Maura never before drove herself on a trip alone, what would make her do that, with so little money, supplies, and no motel reservation??? |

Judged: 2 2 1 A novel is fiction, by definition. What I posted is non-fiction because, with the exception of my comments that are clearly labeled and my introduction and conclusion, everything else consists of quoted material with references to the original text and the numbered paragraphs contain the speaker's own words. The document speaks for itself. Gred |
