Why cause there are two containers?

In the AM I have a coffee cup and a bottle water
does not mean there are 2 people just I like a bottle for one and cup for the other!

I don't know about DNA - however - how could you come to the absolute conclusion - they are from the same person unless you HAD DNA and finger prints. If there was a bottle and a cup - that clearly suggests there were more than one occupant of the saturn.

If it's such a Moral Dilemma lurking why do you
do it?
Why is it you unlurk we just get rolling on this forum?
Someone is close to the truth on something the
derailing has started!
Next will come the attack ducks!
QUOTE who="Lady Gray"]<quoted text>
With all due respect, as is known, there aren’t many facts known. As I’ve said before, the only reason I continue to read is to keep the facts that ARE known……accurate.
Below is a portion of Sharon R’s posting from the old forum. For those who don’t know of Sharon, she is the Mother of Maura’s fiance, Billy. Sharon and her family were extremely involved for quite awhile in Maura’s disappearance. This is a posting of her’s regarding FBI involvement:
Sharon:
The FBI was not EVER involved in Maura’s case as an investigative body: simply put, they were FINALLY asked to interview Maura’s family and friends in Hanson…the UMass Police interviewed the campus friends, professors, etc…..and I am convinced the NH SP invited the FBI to do the interviews because of us reporting that the FBI had offered their help as soon as they were invited…if you do a media search, you will find articles stating that Scarinza announced that the FBI were invited…again, in my humble opinion, that announcement was to take off the heat -- also, Scarinza, at the same time, told Fred that the FBI was invited in, yet while Fred was driving back from Troop F barracks, the director of the regional FBI called and spoke to me, leaving the message that we were no longer to pursue them in Maura’s case…that the case was being managed by NH SP and that was the end of the matter until such time the NH SP chose otherwise. The director made it clear to me that his call was at the request of NH SP.

"The FBI has joined in the search for missing college student Maura Murray, but without a single lead in the nearly two-week old case, New Hampshire authorities said the additional investigators might not make a difference."

"New Hampshire state police have declined the FBI's offer to help find Maura Murray, saying there is no evidence of foul play, even though the nursing student and former West Point cadet left behind her car and belongings after it skidded into a snowbank on Route 112 in Haverhill."

"The father of a University of Massachusetts at Amherst student who vanished a year ago on a New Hampshire road asked Gov. John Lynch yesterday to release records of the investigation and accept the FBI's offer to help find her."

Anyone ??? Wowzer - the stage is yours. Also I did go back and read from the begining as far as I could - page 24 and you were very nice at the start. Please no offence - I am really curious now what facts you might have put out there - becuase now I believe you WERE trying to help solve this and you probably got beaten down from the backlash.. For newbies - do check it out.. a poster at the start stands out too... was that real?

Well, thank goodness. I wish there were more detail but this is what I recall, less the identity of the woman.

Back to the dispatch log!
Why are only Westman and Atwoods calls there?
So witness has to be Atwood since nobody
else has come forward or been dragged under the
media bus!

No sign of foul play.

75% chance of a conviction.(Of WHAT, if there was no foul play!)

Girl disappears near a state border and FBI don't insist of getting involved?

What does all LE know?

Major Crimes Unit? Brought it for political and nominal reasons?

We believe she is deceased, but there are no signs of foul play.

What the heck?

It's sounds like they're sure she is deceased, but took her own life (maybe a REAL goodbye note was found in her room and the first one there took it away?)

Then who is it that LE has a 75% chance of prosecuting? A person who hounded her and forced her to leave? A person who verbally abused her not long before her disappearance for something she did? Can a person be arrested for "driving" someone to feel so bad they decide to take their own life? Did someone see a person with NH plates run her off the road?

I'd really like to know the whereabouts of Maura's friends, but mostly family, from Sunday night through Tuesday late afternoon. And, of course, on Friday midnight to 12:40AM.

Even if local LE had evidence that convinced them Maura was suicidal, wouldn't the FBI want to look at this case from the start, not start with a conclusion? Why haven't they? Do they agree with the HPD's initial conclusion? Did a UMass Administrator or Official or Security person get to her dorm room first and remove a goodbye note and give it to the FBI?

Why have searches focused right around the snowbank scene if it's thought a perp picked her up in a car and took her away? Why are a lot of posters convinced Maura never left Woodsville?

Except for the possibility of a suicide note that solves the "what", all that's needed for that scenario is the "where" of finding of Maura's remains. The FBI wouldn't be needed for that if they believed she took her own life, would they?

And would the FBI be needed if state and local NH LE have a really good idea who took her and this person was unlikely to have, or known not to have, left the NH?

The FBI wouldn't listen to circumstantial evidence that Maura "was suicidal" from a town PD unless they independently verified it, right? That's their job!

Just rambling because nothing makes sense, STILL!

That was my best guess. You wouldn't believe the stuff rolling around in my car. It's SO annoying, but apparently not annoying enough to clean it out. Paris, I believe a recyclable can "escaped" too!

Well if it was a truck guess I'd buy it being
left for sleding since it was a car I don't believe Sgt. Smith made that statement!
Given a few rounds with Sharon myself I could
see where Sgt Smith was cut short on his statement so he probably wasn't allowed to finish
it to Sharon!
It wasn't until Sgt. Smith finally got a hold of
Kathleen that they actually knew that it was indeed Maura and that Fred wasn't to Kathleen's knowledge with her.
<quoted text>
True, because Faith thought she saw a man in the car, smoking even. Yet she also identifies and refers to "the girl" That CS thought Fred may have been driving gives some credit to more that one person at the scene. At least to me.
Thanks for being helpful and for answering me.

White Wash,

This is by no means directed at you but I am totally burned out and at the end of my rope.

It is more than likely I will no longer be posting on this forum and has nothing to do with anyone individually or personally. It's the overall tone in general that totally sucks in plain English.

I am just getting that out there before I reply to you.

Please know that I googled Maura Murray FBI and the links appeared. The majority of the articles were posted on other missing persons forums and were not cited.

I am sorry I was unable to cite the sources for the articles but these have been published articles for years and years that I specifically recall reading.

I recall you once telling us that you have access to those types of newspaper archives so maybe you will have better luck pulling up the actual articles in print.

Trust me, the do exist.

The U-Mass police requested the aid of the FBI in interviewing wintesses in MA and devising a timeline those first two weeks. That's all the FBI ever did and it was in MA jurisdiction.

They where turned away by NHSP and the reasons are stated in those excerpts I provided.
