David Eliot Marks was born on February 23, 1952 in St. Augustine, Florida. He died in the late 1990's in the Amherst/Northampton Massachusetts area. Marks and Maura Murray appear to have a unique someone and unique something in common. There is a limit as to what can be posted, so I cannot go into details further, at least not right now.

However, there are many indications that Maura was involved with some kind of life extending or body enhancing drug use or sales.

The theory about a Vasi hit is certainly still a realistic one, which does not necessarily exclude the Marks connection.

Marks was into some very life extending "venues" and therapies, and I think that's where the Marks/Murray connection exists. They obviously never knew each other. It's sort of like - LIKE - two people who were the customer of the same drug dealer who also furnished them with cars and sports tickets. That's just an example - for illustrations sake. And limited at that.

I think it's possible - POSSIBLE - that Murray and Marks died for related reasons. I don't mean it's possible because there's one chance in a million. I mean it's possible to the extent that further investigation by the appropriate people or agency is probably warranted.

I'm not totally sold on this theory, but along with the Vasi hit theory, it's certainly one worth looking into.

The "alternative drug" theory is very definitely worth looking into, if for no other reason than it has attracted the most Amherst area people in that field and the most resistance - and not, by any means, just on this board.

We just called them flatlanders. My friend Jerry called his second home his weekend house. Most of the houses along 112 are nothing more than camps. Again who was this Marks fellow? and where did he meet his fate.

Thank you I never heard of him before. It's like 2 hours to hampton from there. I wish I knew what upset her when she got that phone call. Was she into something and was threatened about being exposed for it? I met this lady a couple years ago who claimed to be psychic and told me when I asked about Maura she felt she was in an old abandoned church. Well the only one I know of is just a cellar hole now but it's down the road about 2-3 miles from the crash site.

You have repeatedly said you know who is responsible or has a connection, but refuse to bring it to the higher authorities. Why Is That??? Instead you post here stating these things in hope that someone will pursue it further for whatever reason. I have only posted info which is true to fact to the best of my knowledge from interviews and news articles. I am sorry if info I have posted here has thrown a wrench into the case, but it is the truth as I know it. Maybe I have been misled by some.

You can say whatever you want about Me and that is OK with me. I understand where you are coming from and trust me I can take it.

I have been working on this case for 5 yrs. trying to find out what happened to Maura. Do you really think I would have spent the last 5 yrs. working on this case to come to this point of accusations and threats.... and for what?

I never knew Maura or any part of her family before Feb. 9th 2004. I have never made a penny from for my endeavors nor do I wish to. I got involved because I wanted to HELP and now it has come around to bite Me right in the backside. Ouch.!!

I live here and deal with this everyday, it is my reality now and If you think I like it you are WRONG. But, I don't blame anyone but myself for being in this situation. I wanted to do this and now I am here, like it or not.

SO....You can hate me or strangle or choke me or whatever you wish.

I hope this post allows people to realize I did the most I could for my friend. I love Maura, and it is relieving to read up on all the posts of caring friends and family.

White Wash, thanks for posting this as a refresher. Now re-reading this it's the first time I realized KM said she PREVIOUSLY begged Maura to go to a counselor. Maybe she just wrote this poorly but now I read it as "previous to that night."
She also wrote she walked Maura up to her room...and later writes she couldn't go see Maura because her walkie-talkie would not have gotten a signal.
I am not suggesting KM is involved in Mauras disappearnce; but imo, she had to know of what was so upsetting to Maura and one would think LE would know this info. Brings me all back to my original theory that the answer lies in Amherst OR West Point...along with the perp.

I'm afraid that Maura's case is going to remain unsolved just like Orville Gibson. It's been 52 years since he was killed and no arrest has ever been made. And the pisser is they have all the proof in the world on who was resposible.

Old HOOB Gibson case....

They knew who did it, there were 4 or 5 people involved that case.
