Beagle - you know i have always liked your riddles. I am glad to see the forum moving to a Amhert view IMO . You have been saying that for a long time - I think haverhill was just by chance. Really didn't matter where the car broke down - what ever was in play - was planned in advance. weathered barn or not - she was going to vanish

I find some of the new information interesting about Amherst and think it should be pursued if to only rule it out but I am still of the opinion that it was Maura at the car and Maura that fled the accident but I still am not convinced that what happened to her had anything to do with anyone in or in the immediate vicinity of the crash site. I still don’t know if Maura had something done to her or if she did it herself. So I am little farther than I was around 5 years ago. Bill

Hi Dawn and all,I am repeating i know but who did call about the toyota bending in Hadley.I have never considered it an accident.Again I am back to who the information came from and I am still very interested in Mauras prior life. That last weekend in Amherst needs to be looked at hour by hour. The fact that Mauras' friends have said nothing speaks volumes.I cannot imagine that they just do not care.I know they were approached and asked questions from people on campus after Maura vanished and remained tight lipped.AAA only has the Hadley accident on file ,even though it was reported on the MMM forum that Maura used them at least twice before. If the saturn was towed to Amherst that was after Maura got AAA from the Rauschs' for christmas. Thats one .And the second with the toyota bending thats 2.Then we have the keys locked in the car ,maybe twice thats 3 or 4.Maura reportedly went to Ohio over christmas break, whether she did i dont.Where was the saturn when she was gone and who had access to it.I assume it was good enough to drive to Hanson M.A. or Bridgeport C.T.or maybe an airport which would be on video but not good enough to drive to N.H.Did the car problem appear over christmas break when Maura was gone to Ohio.take care philip

Just wondering who you reported these issues to cause if you are not part of the solution then that makes one part of the problem yes? Old Timer wrote: M_Chaplin wrote: "If your from Haverhill Art do you remember the accident in Warren with the troopers? I just saw the tribute page for them and the state of NH flat out lies about what happened." I've seen more lies by State NH and LE to cover tracks over the years it is scary. I used to work for NHDOT for 33 years and know pretty much all the players. Art

Think to yourselves what might cause a bright, athletic, and beautiful young woman to act out in certain ways.
Just take a few minutes and think about her primary relationships. Since she never told her "friends" much, you can skip over them.

For over 5 years you have bashed the locals and the area unmercifully and now act so sweet and innocent welcoming a new local and saying they are a breath of fresh air. Yes it's sure refreshing compared to hearing for 5 years that the locals are illiterate rats that sleep in the same bed and need to be Lysoled. Your words are actually nauseating. Civility??? In your own word....pfffffffffffftttt!!! Wowzer, she wanted to Lysol EVERYBODY on the board. The whole lot of us.

Bill I actually posted on another forum once where the automatic censor would star those things out. I ended up having to have a discussion with someone about Moby Richard. I'm not even kidding a little bit.

That's why she continues with her insults, she knows she will have backing. She should have been stopped a long time ago and maybe more would have participated in the MMM forum. You don't have any trouble speaking up to someone that says the least negative thing about people associated with Maura.

Shack wrote: Helena, having never run a Forum, was cautious about the discussions because of legal issues. She was apprehensive as to what was written because of a concern for the outcome, that could have been misconstrued, in any final outcome of Maura's disappearance. I still have my share of butt gnaw scars from being chastised. Simply put, she had a fear of harming the investigation. I have never asked her, but I have wondered if their attorney advised the family to longer share any more information. This is bullshit. And if an attorney were advising the first thing he would have advised against would be slander, libel and character assassination - the very hallmarks which characterized MMM.

quija wrote: Posters say that their eyes glaze over reading my long posts. So I'll make this one short: In spite of being a great student, could Maura have been asked to leave UMass, as happened at WP? We know it's hard to break certain patterns of behavior quickly; it generally takes some time in therapy... That's interesting...thinking back to nursing school, if one of the students in my clinicals would have disappeared without reason, the instructors would've been out there searching themselves.....yet no media coverage of what insructors comments were on her disappearance....other than, I think, a short blurb that may have gone out by email. Where's the support for the other comrades?

but if her leave was due to something protected by HIPAA regs, they couldn't even begin to comment....something like leaving for therapy, pregnancy, stress, etc.

her employers coulcn't comment - due to hippa - or disabitly act of america - the rehab theory.. but after 5 years a friend would have come forward..now this is out there.. unless she has top secret military info.. so they sent her to rehab and then new identity... way out there i know.. i don't believe it for a second.
I think Quija is on to it..........
