The state owns to 33 Ft. from the center line, this makes the trees by the accident scene owned by the state. Art I could be wrong but in CT I thought that the property was yours. It could be taken by the town or state for purposes of increasing the width of the road but until that time it is property of the person. I know that the GIS system in CT shows that property as belonging to the property owner. Not saying your wrong. Saying I don't know but it appears to operate differently in CT. Which being a different state may have different laws. Bill

Friend of Maura, If that is the case, then why hasn't this been vertified by LE and then the case closed? Why would her family still be searching for her? BTW, who is the creator of that geocities site? Thanks

It's common knowledge......in certain circles of people......who are close to the family..... These certain circles of people - how did they get this information? You imply it's because they are close to the family and, yet, the family doesn't know? Explain this, please.

Including, but not limited to, swimming, "water running" (which is like running, done in the upright position with the aid of a flotation vest--some crazy/serious runners even do it in their running clothes, including their shoes, but usually it's done in a swimsuit) and other no-impact exercises. YMMV, see your physical therapist or orthopod for details. Offer good while supplies last. Thank you very much. Are water exercises very common for someone with the kind of leg injury Maura Murray had? Hardly ever used? Used most of the time? About half and half? Just looking for a ballpark guess as to whether Maura was using a swimming pool before she disappeared. Again, thank you very much.

Also, would Maura's injury sometimes be treated with time in a hot tub? Like a therapeutic style Jacuzzi? Thanks again.

A fetus, on the other hand, is at a later stage of development. The term “fetus” is generally applied seven to eight weeks after conception. Furthermore, an early-stage embryo can be artificially maintained for a few days outside the body while a fetus can only exist inside a woman’s body. It certainly can’t be maintained artificially, despite some of the more outrageous rhetoric about “growing fetuses for their spare parts.” Although I’ve encountered alarmist statements about the possibility of “fetus farms,” such a scenario is impossible, unless one were to regard the bodies of women in much the same way as we regard cows that are maintained to produce milk.

You have made a carefully worded, non descript statement. If there is any truth to your statement, I am sure you will include facts of this report to proper LE who will verify it.

Rumors or Fact about West Point: Hi everyone --- There have been so many things posted on the MMM/TOPIX forums over the years, some in good faith, checked out to the best of the poster's knowledge, and evaluated as to the balance of how this information could help us understand what happened with Maura vs how hurtful this information could be. There are, of course, other things that seemed posted for the sole "ebolic" purpose of making us bleed out our ears. I can believe Maura was a great student since there were enough comments from the schools. It's obvious and documented that she was an award-winning runner in high school. Her friendships, per her friends, were not relationships dominated by sharing every detail of her life, like some female students have. She was a hard worker with two part-time jobs, and I think we have enough information to take this to be true. We have pictures to prove she hiked with her dad and spent vacation time with Billy. If I am wrong I will apologize very publicly, but I'll repeat that at least 3 reputable people (whom I will not name until they tell me to) told me that Maura was asked to leave West Point because of an honor code violation that was not a huge deal in the scheme of things. There may or may not be evidence regarding this, since if a cadet agrees to leave on his or her own volition, the files will be purged. Otherwise, a trial will be held. I don't know if a file being "purged" of the matter in question means literally shredding it, throwing it away, or if it's just "sealed" in some way. Somehow, some way it did become known. None of our currently-bickering group, nor member of my own family told me this. It was soundly confirmed elsewhere. And, as mentioned, there actually may not be evidence of this remaining, except in the memories of West Point Upper Administration who worked with Maura and counseled her. I backed whiston up when he stated this because I felt it was extremely important in understanding her state of mind, her self-esteem, whether she felt she was studying in the right field (or had been rushed into a choice that wasn't right for her) and whether she had control of her life, etc. A short vacation? A running away? A hazy, vague, emotional plan to end her life? A perp harming her under any of these conditions? Unknown.

I'll repeat that found three reputable people. I requested they tell me that Maura Murray was asked to leave West Point because of an honor code violation. All three complied.

I don't see how any problems Maura Murray may have had at West Point translate into the intense interest in her disappearance by a certain group of people in the Amherst area who appear to be connected in one way or another to the late Richard O. Johnson. Just because she had personal problems at West Point a year or two before her disappearance doesn't mean she didn't have a connection to the wrong crowd in Amherst, Northampton area.

If police really thought Maura Murray's disappearance was a suicide, I don't know what purpose all the secrecy would serve.
