I pulled down a MySpace site intended to support Liko Kenney when I realized the main supporter of his cause had scammed me and others of monetary contributions, time, support and goodwill.
As Suzanne says, when one leaves this site...or even the other blog...it's necessary to take a shower to remove the slime.
Indeed, you noticed WTF/Bill's screen-name was misappropriated, likely by the same n'er-do-well. Better to have one's screen-name registered, as many of us have since done.
That said, Maura Murray and her family have become public figures. You have discussed the most intimate details of her life...her menstrual cycle, her birth control pills, and her lingerie, without the benefit of substantiated information...on a public venue. Others of us have not.
Together, certain of you conspire to silence by whispering to each other...sometimes keeping secrets, and at other times, leaking secrets about Maura, while always admonishing others that we are to "find Maura".
My question(s) are carefully expressed...and throughout, I have refrained from tasteless, vulgar accusations or speaking as if I pretend to have knowledge that I do not possess about Maura Murray.
You've pulled out your guns this week to target opposition to conversation away from the theories you promote.

If that means that I'm going to call out the BS when I see it so that we can uncover the truth as to what happened to Maura.. then yes, you're right FireCat. I've perused these boards long along and kept quiet long enough. It's time we all stay on track and come together as a whole to figure out what happened to Maura instead of playing games and belittling one another. If you aren't here for the specific purpose to help find out what happened to Maura then I suggest you remove yourself from the conversation so that those of us that DO want to find her can without sifting through all the crap thrown in our way. Its been long enough (5 years!) and its also been quite interesting to see at what times these nasty little fights seem to appear. Look back at the past postings to see what I mean. You can all draw your own conclusions. I'm not force feeding anyone my own thoughts or feelings on the topic. I want to get back to Maura. PERIOD. Anyone else care to join me? I think there are many in my opinion. 2/5/04 Maura is working security 10 PM speaks to Sister via cell phone. 1 AM receives phone call that leaves her so upset she is escort back to her room by her KMayotte. **Told KMayotte she had a roommate. **Later we have found another post by KMayotte that she was deeply concerned about Maura this isn't an isolated event. 2/6/04 Maura had class and clinicals. Per Pebody on websluths "She had ben sharing rides with a fellow nursing students to clinicals. Both of her jobs where with in walking distance from her dorm. Another close UMass friend has stated that she was shocked that Maura was so far from campus. She had been stranded after the semester begun. It's almost 7PM and I'm going to sleep. Screw it all. There are lots of posters here I like and who make me think. But WTH is going on here? I can't even follow who's mad at whom (note this FC!). Or why. At worst, why can't we have "parallel conversations", like the little kids have "parallel play"? We don't need a monitor here, we need a group therapist! The weirdest thing is that we'd probably all have a great time (would require alcoholic beverages) if we all met together in person..... It seems to me that the best way to "put people in their place is to give them enough rope to hang themselves! Just let them do themselves in! All this said, if anyone disses me I'll probably call them names too. Whatta world!

forever the diplomat, quija...i guess it was a lost opportunity if you missed the DD seance/meet 'n greet. admittedly, your sweet spirit would place us all at some hypothetical bridge to unity, or at least a parallel divide. but i say...stuff that thought back where it came from. save the energy. make no mistake...it is what it is. there's a guy here who occasionally pipes up...and often uses no more than 3 words...often accurate, and kinda' curt. i vote for him as playground monitor.
