Regardless of whether or not the poster was the supervisor, or whether or not the content of the post was true, I would think most people, especially someone in a security job, would strongly hesitate to post something like that because the post brings suspicion on the poster. According to the story, the supervisor is the only person whose identity as a driver of the Saturn that Maura would have been trapped into protecting. Even if Maura did receive a call Thursday night, has LE directly confirmed that it was the call that upset her? I would imagine that the security desk would receive at least several calls each night.

anyway, since i'm here, it comes to establishing facts...from sources unknown...so i, too, am skeptical about the veracity of the supervisor's postings.
at some point, an article referenced the supervisor's "friendship" with Maura...and yet, she didn't even know Maura lived without a roommate?

Hey Elswhere, I have been reading through the dispatch log. According to it, the BOLO was indeed for a woman with "black hair past shoulder length: and height/weight was 5'5", 120.

Hi Snowy,

Paris posted in reply to Mason's statements about her contacting Vasi. Paris was the one who stated she could not confirm whether it was him or not. I have never initiated contact with anyone. I am respectful of the fact that this is an ongoing criminal investigation under the juridiction of the homicide division of the NHSP & AG's Office.

Vasi did write on on this forum and said he had no recollection of the events of that night and has never been questioned by the police about Maura.

I recently posted an UL article on the new forum which states the NHSP have not investigation a possible Vasi connection.

With all due respect, the majority of people on MMM were sincere and geniune. I do believe it was the supervisor who wrote into MMM but that is just my opinion.

I never once questioned the use of multiple aliases until I came across this Godforsaken forum.

Hey, in reading that dispatch log, it says of Fred's call to police the next day that he "stated that it is urgent that officer calls him, he has some very important information to give him." Do you know anything about this?

No problem. I know you weren't arguing with me. I was citing your post about never knowing who is who in an online discussion.

Yes, a poster did recently seem to think that Vasi's posts were not really by Petrit Vasi, the trama victim of late Thursday night.

As to your question, "What about the supervisor?"

I think it is important to distinguish between the person who in reality supervised Maura at her job as a security person and the so-called source (posted, quoted in a newspaper, etc.) of information. Anyone (i.e., someone other than the real supervisor) could have made up the story about the phone call, even LE. If it was reported in a newspaper article, the source should be documented.

In any event, there should be a public record that indicates whether or not LE (UMass PD in particular) ever confirmed the story.

If, however, the story is true AND the story was made public, especially on the ex-MMM site by the same supervisor, then that raises the roommate question. If the supervisor did not know that Maura had a roommate, then maybe the subject never came up until then. If so, then I would say that the roommate story was made up by Maura so that she could simple walk to a nearby location, quite possibly the source of the phone call.

Maura was frugal. Did she have a landline phone in her room? Did she have a dial-up connection for her computer or a high speed connection?

If Maura told the supervisor about a phantom roommate in order to walk up the street, was she going to the place the call originated or to an off-campus location where she spent a lot of time? Did she meet with her fate at that off-campus location?

Did Maura Murray have any connection to American River Nutrition or HQSM?

Trauma, not "trama" Sometimes critical care staff refer to EW's (ER's) and ICU's a trama-rama.

Did Maura Murray even know or meet the late Richard O. Johnson? Not that Mr. Johnson has anything to do with Maura's disappearance, but such a connection might demonstrate Maura's interests and social network.

Maura had been involved in a prior accident with her dad's new car that caused about 10K in damage and I'm sure Maura was distraught even though Mr. Murray was quoted on numerous occasions that it was no big deal. He also stated Maura was a good kid and had never given her parents a moments worry up until the accident.

I believe this is what he might have been referring to that and obviously figured the second accident would have caused her to be more distraught.

This is purely my opinion.

I also believe that the family were clamoring to find photos and identifying information for Maura to e-mail to HPD. I beliee you will find this on the log also. Maura's sister is Kathleen.

You know, I think I might have been in error in the first statements of my last post.

The vehicle was in Mr. Murray's name. I believe he wanted to ensure they were aware his daughter, Maura, was driving the vehicle and they had her information.

Um, here's the thing about this post.

I know "Paris" personally, and (I'd like to think) fairly well.

I do not believe that Paris actually wrote this post, or any of the other ones on this page. I will continue to not believe it unless I get a returned phone call from Paris indicating that this is, indeed, a post of hers.
