Judged: 2 2 1 And as if that were not enough they went to his Florida home and came back and reported that SBD now lived in a "nice house and there was a nice boat" in the yard. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink. Hmmm. Who paid him off? You all were DISGUSTING. |
Thank you Dawn. I fully intend to do just that.:) |
God, what is it with people around here not being able to spell their own names right this week? ROFLMAO First there was Gred, now Jo. Maybe we HAVE entered some sort of alternate universe. John (not to be confused with Jo) and Mason, my first reaction about the "novel" was "....well THAT's certainly written like someone who's taken Legal Writing 001"! |
How do you know they're not checking out leads? That's the thing. They go about their business very quietly. For all we know, they ARE checking everything. That's Maura's best hope. |
Uh, not without a whooooole lot of back up and a badge and a gun. ! (fortunately I suspect this is your sense of humour at play) |
Judged: 1 1 1 There is absolutely NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER that SBD was driven out of New Hampshire. His MOTHER moved south to Florida, and he went with her. It was HER house, was it not? How is that sort of unsubstantiated rumour allowed, and another kind not? That's one thing I don't get. |
Judged: 1 Interesting that you see it this way. I see it as a man who had finally had enough of the cold weather in the winter and could retire and buy a boat. I never heard anyone say he'd been paid off. What's "disgusting" is the continued vilification OF ANYONE that goes on here. Period. Full stop. |

Hmm, I dunno ... what about dinner at the Ritz? I'll pay for the wine if you can cover the entree :) Vicariously, of course. Am too far away from the Ritz unless dinner was flown in. |

Judged: 1 1 1 My goodness Suzanne, where on earth does all this innuendo come from? I am not one of the PI's. People are funny, you all want local input then freak out when something is said you disagree with. It really is pretty easy to look on these forums and wonder why locals do not respond. Might I add, that Mauras family has been very supportive of the extensive help they have received from locals.. |
Judged: 1 1 1 He is still a victim that his only mistake was trying to help someone that went off the road. Unfortunately Maura refused his help or she would be here today I have no doubt. The insinuations and character assassinations have continued and his reputation has been needlessly dragged thru the mud for 5 years. As I've stated many times before the things that were said about him and the local people were sick, disgusting and totally uncalled for IMO. |

Armed with a search warrant, agents from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), and officers from the Arkansas State Police and the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office raided the premises of notorious dog dealer C. C. Baird. According to the U.S. Department of Justice,“The search was in connection with an ongoing investigation of alleged violations of the Animal Welfare Act and other federal criminal statues.” It is believed that the USPS is involved because in addition to selling live animals for experimentation, Baird was selling animal parts and shipping them by U.S. mail.
One hundred twenty-five dogs and one cat were seized during the search, which lasted from August 26 to the 31st. Most of the dogs who were seized in the raid are hounds, walkers, beagles, and some Labrador mixes. According to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette,“many begged to be petted. Some appear thin, their ribs showing through their skin, and others had obvious eye infections. Baird's customers. ********** ...for the same reasons that Beagles are chosen most often to be used in useful occupations, such as detection of contraband, they are chosen more often than any other breed for testing purposes. No, they are not checking this out. |
What an absurd response. Why can't someone go interview him? Is that illegal? Just because someone besides LE or PIs gets there first, doesn't mean the potential perpetrator can't be talked with. |
Calling the kettle black again, eh? |
ROFL....good thing you didn't offer ME that. Because I have very expensive taste in wine. |
Judged: 1 1 1 Funny you should pick up on that and not on the rest of my post? It was implied that SBD was in a conspiracy with CS, CW and other Haverhill LE and they all were somehow involved in Maura's disappearance or the cover up of said disappearance. And quelle horreur, SBD was soundly reviled because he did not bring Maura a thermos of a hot beverage and a warm blanket. How evil can the man get? The fact is that Maura told SBD to GET LOST when he offered to call 911. Because he wasn't Mother Theresa this was to you just more proof of his guilt. |
Right. That's why they are using psychics. They have such substantial leads that they are recommending to LE the use of and reliance on psychics. That says they have zero, zip, absolutely nothing. |
