I think the hearing yesterday is ground breaking for NH - I think for not only the Murrays - for all families who have gone through such a heart breaking ordeal. I do hope they can bring answers and justice to all families involved. I think this is very exciting news - and at least two articles have been printed so Media attention is working. YEAH

Those of you appreciate dark humor and laughing at the failed exploits of people engaged in criminal behavior, might want to take a look at the trials and tribulations of Charles Ray Hicks, Jr. on January 29, 2008, in Stroudsburg, PA.

Mr. Hicks, who is charged with killing and dismembering Deanna Marie Null, apparently went to all of the trouble involved in dismembering her corpse, wrapping the parts up in plastic garbage bags, and cleaning up the bloody mess afterward, only to fail miserably in his efforts to dispose of her body parts.

Morning commuters were unhappy to discover that the freeways were shut down, They were horrified when they found out why.

Mr. Hicks apparently spent a good part of the early morning hours before sunrise driving around the Pocono region tossing garbage bags out the window of his vehicle. Not surprisingly, some of them came unwrapped disclosing their grisly contents for all to see.

"This is an example of a disorganized serial killer," said Dr. Judith M. Sgarzi, a professor of criminal justice at Mount Ida College in Newton Centre, MA.

Welcome to any new people to the forum. You will find there are great number of people who have followed this case for years. I came to this site after seeing the article on CNN - as most of you new people have come from hearing of this case. I am sure the past say 20 pages have not been about Maura Murray - be patient - it will turn around and you will find valuable information of a group of people who are trying to resolve this mystery of Maura Murray. Things get heated and very often off topic and sometimes for a very long time. However, there is always a diamond in the rough and hope you keep returning. My apolgies if you have been lurking and seeing some of my posts back and forth - just keep in mind keep the focus. Lots of games - but if you read between the lines and even a few riddles from Beagle - you will know who he is. You will find info that can help sort some of the information out there.

In the interest of promoting fairness and full disclosure, I want everyone to know that during my research of missing person reports and unsolved murders, I found out about a suspected serial killer who active in the New Bedford area of eastern MA in the late 80s.

Christina Monteiro (age 20) and Marilyn Roberts-Cardoza (age 34) were last seen in May and June of 1988. Their bodies have never been found.

Police believe they were killed by an unknown serial killer responsible for 10 murders. He targeted female drug users and prostitutes during the late 1980s and dumped their bodies along I-95 and routes 140 and 18 in the Freetown, Marion, Westport, and Dartmouth areas.

I do not know the cause of death in these murders, but the killer targeted a different group of victims than the Connecticut River Valley Killer and he apparently made less effort to conceal the victims as well.

DID I NOT CORRECT THIS WEEKS AGO? I don't keep bringing it up.. so no there is not a tick on me nor am i hypocrite since I cleared this up.? Please tell me how that is a hypocrite? I cleared it up - it was between Johnny and I? So why - are you attacking me? Tell me that. If I cleared it up - then why keep brining it up?????????? I am sure there is a religious phrase to go along with that - I'm certain. Some just can't forgive even when it was never about them... interesting. And yes the bible addresses that too - which since you brought that up - you would know that also.

Now for the what 5th time today - I have said get back to Maura Murray... Not one post insluting me has even brought the subject back to Maura.

Headway was made with the hearings yesterday. This could crack the case.

interesting no one wants to talk about that. I sent the links. This is one of the BIGGEST BREAKS in the case in 5 years - but old school banter seems to be more fun.

I am very excited about the new information and will be following it closely to see what NH decides to do.

I don't see anything else I could do but what i have done - so tell me please - to whom this had nothing to do - how do I take this louse off of me or not be a hypocrite - since I fixed it weeks ago.. Please .. Please do tell.

FWIW, I'm not able to find a whole lot of news regarding yesterday's hearing, because I'm not particularly local (as I think you know). Therefore I don't have a whole lot to say about it. I am still reading what little I have found about it.

I also have not yet heard back definitively regarding any sort of spring search (even to get one confirmed) or how to be of help from afar, before you ask again. But I understand you've also put in an email to the mods at MM forum, so that should do as well. I don't remember there necessarily a lot that could be done....I want to say that Shack bought dog biscuits, but I could totally be making that up. It might have been that she offered to do so.

Maura Murray Vanished .She may have been last seen in Amherst M.A.in feb 2004.No video of her has been made available to her family or to the public so the video is just reported in the press and amy or may not exist.Her family did put up missing person posters but were not told by local police what the person at the ATM which may have been Maura was wearing or which ATM was used.Also they were not told if the vehicle that was found in NH was seen at the ATM or if it was damaged or if the person at the ATM drove away to a liquor store or walked to it.Why would that information not be given to the family trying to find there loved one.Why would law enforcement not tell the family of a missing person what they were last recorded on video wearing.Even on the now closed MMM forum the description was vague ,maybe this phone, maybe these shoes,maybe this coat and then a light grey coat with large buttons.I have to ask, what on the old site is even close to true. no trees were hit by the saturn , no clinicasl were available in Norwood when Maura was in school and Maura was asked to leave Westpoint Military Academy.When i emailed the coach she did not know who Maura was.I am not saying any of this to trash Maura.
