Shack brought soup.Or not. Apparently.
FWIW, I'm not able to find a whole lot of news regarding yesterday's hearing, because I'm not particularly local (as I think you know). Therefore I don't have a whole lot to say about it. I am still reading what little I have found about it.
I also have not yet heard back definitively regarding any sort of spring search (even to get one confirmed) or how to be of help from afar, before you ask again. But I understand you've also put in an email to the mods at MM forum, so that should do as well. I don't remember there necessarily a lot that could be done....I want to say that Shack bought dog biscuits, but I could totally be making that up. It might have been that she offered to do so.
Or it could have been Meow Mix.
Where is MAURA MURRAY

Which was initially reported in the papers, and corrected many many (MANY) times on the forum when it was realised to be the case. Yet it continues to be repeated in the media to this day. It continues to be refuted by many, including some directly involved in Maura's case (ie, PIs) whenever it comes up. As you have just done.:) This statement of yours, I must point out once again, is absolutely 100% FALSE. Clinicals WERE available in Norwood they year Maura disappeared. You have even said so on the (new) forum. Clinicals in Norwood were officially set up IN 2004.(You said so yourself.) Maura disappeared IN 2004.(in addition to the fact that clinicals, as per UMass web site, may also be set up in other places not on the "official" list). The person who reported that Maura was attending clinicals in Norwood was ALSO attending clinicals in Norwood. Since this person was driving, presumably (s)he knew the destination and location of clinicals. |

Thanks. Hopefully it was not dog biscuit soup? |

Philip,
By looking at Maura's bank statement from the closing date following her disappearance, the family will kow which ATM was used. Banks are required to list the details of where a transaction was made. What I deduce from this is that the police in Mass. won't give this information--it wouldn't be NH, since the ATM and liquor store transpired in Mass and the FBI is also said to have done a fine job investigating at that level. So why would two different police departments AND the FBI withhold information from the family? Perplexing to me..... |

I don't mean to be sarcastic, but that person has not verified where the clinicals were, has he/she? |

I don't mean the city, I mean the actual location--which hospital/health care/human services agency.

Judged: 1 philip, I have no idea why law enforcemnt won't share some of the information they have. IMHO maybe they do not have that information. |

Judged: 1 1 1 The public information about her life, relative to what is publicly known about most missing persons, is nearly nothing. It's almost as if she did not exist until she disappeared. |

Summerhill House? |

Judged: 1 1 If there exists an ATM video and if someone in that video can be identified by members of Maura's immediate family, then maybe LE thinks it's smarter to keep the video to themselves. |
||||
Good point. Maybe LE does not have that information. |

Judged: 2 2 1 I know you don't know the answers but, if there's a video at the ATM, what was she wearing? Was her hair up or down? Any jewelry? Why didn't the Mass. LE release the pictures from the ATM video like they do in so many other cases? The family was pleased with the investigation that the FBI did, so I'm assuming they have this information but aren't disclosing it maybe??? |

Judged: 2 I think what she was wearing would be VERY important - in the early search's - or to see who might have seen her.......... and in recovery - knowing what you are looking for......... process of elimination - what shoes etc Good observation - I do think the TRUTH is good. because.......... someone knows something......... |

Judged: 2 I have never posted on a forum before - obviously... ha ha.. Or I wouldn't have come up with a moniker - Dawn is my real name.. too late to change now. The only forum's I have ever even viewed ( NEVER POSTED) are on finance/ checking on what stocks I might need to move - needless to say - I have not visited those for a long time - hurts the eyes and burns the pocketbook.... |

Judged: 1 1 Not sure why a nursing student at UMass Amherst would travel all the way to Norwood unless the clinicals involved some kind of work that occurred during semester break in Dec/Jan. Is this possible, or are clinicals either one semester long or suspended during school vacations? Seems unlikely Norwood Hospital has much that other hospitals closer to Amherst do not have. Here's something from the Norwood Hospital web site: "Established in 1985, Caritas Christi Health Care, New England's largest community-based hospital network, is a comprehensive, integrated health care delivery network providing community-based medicine and tertiary care in eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire and Rhode Island. "Each hospital and facility within the Caritas family, while part of an extensive network of health care providers, has its own rich history of providing outstanding, compassionate care right in the communities where patients need it most. Caritas hospitals include: Carney Hospital in Dorchester, Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Saint Anne's Hospital in Fall River, and St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton. "Other members of the Caritas family, who provide social, educational or health care services include: Caritas Home Care, Good Samaritan Hospice, Labouré College, and Por Cristo. In addition, the system includes Caritas Physician Network, a 400-physician group practice serving patients throughout the system." ********** IIRC, Carney used to be something like a specialized head injury hospital? Is that true? Ironic, if so, considering Vasi. No connection, obviously. Maybe Maura and her friend chose Norwood Hospital, if that's where the clinical was located, because it was near Hanson? But there's South Shore Hospital, too, I think, in Weymouth? Definitely do not, however, overlook the potential significance of Summerhill House. Is it true that Dr. Keroack killed himself recently? |

Citigirl Has posted that her cliniclas were not in Norwood. I am going to go with her word for now |
