Just thoughts. About Maura looking like Maura and not looking like Maura. SBD says she didn't look the same, because of the hair being down.
He also said he couldn't see her from the face down because of the airbags, so who said her hair was shoulder lenghth. That's right, he also says he sat on his bus and flashed a light in to look at her as they spoke. How's that again? Yet Faith says they were outside together at the car when she stopped looking.
My coworkers cannot see like I can, they wear bifocals and

oops, wasn't going to elaborate but might as well. Did Butch wear glasses and did he call home to report the accident to Barbara so she could call it in? She did say he saw the accident and he wasn't home yet.....?

hi all, i have called ahead many times to a hotel and reserved a room with a credit card and then paid cash when i checked out.As far as i know no record is kept by the hotel once the card is vrified as good.Does anyone here know that side of the hotel business.Maura maybe made a trip to N.H without telling anyone that was close to her.Can we put this in the fact pile yet and if so WHY did she leave Amherst and her prior life in such a secretive way.I have been told that mr Murray has 'deemed ' Amherst not important but i and the many law enforcement people i have spoken with seem to think otherwise.They all have the same response which is why or how come.Maura was last seen on camera in Amherst.bring on the ducks. take care philip

Hello Whiston. A record is kept in all cases for Hotels for all guests and I would imagine Motels as well. I worked desk for 10 yrs mgmt, major Hotel dwntwn.
When Fred said Amherst was not important, I don't know what he was trying to say, and/or referring to because he also wanted to know about that call that upset Maura. Our videos are recorded color but monitors only show black and white on the floor. Images here are clear as are ATM's and most places. I disagree,(not with you) but I don't think the pictures would be less than telling and should be made public, segment by segment

If she accepted a ride or was forcibly taken against her will by an as yet unknown vehicle, she may be anywhere.

If you want to stick to the facts, then she packed, traveled, and disappeared from the final resting place of the Saturn. Period.
Still doesn't explain motivation and intent, IMHO.

I recently exchanged a series of emails with a friend of Maura's---knew her through school days in Hansen, and then they went to seperate colleges but stayed close. She said that she would feel it was quite normal for Maura to take off without having made plans ahead of time. She had (has?) an independent and impuslive nature.

Maybe it's not true after all that Maura was caught on tape......just read a case of that recently where an officer was involved in something shady.

Oh, the rest of the story would help, ha, ha.
The police said there was a tape showing the deceaced at some location and it came out later to be untrue and part of a cover-up.

like Paris, i'm glad to have this piece of info., too. i appreciate that offset for her apparently being as spontaneous as much as being an achieving student.

Occasionally I've found myself thinking that maybe Maura met someone new at school and decided to run away with him rather than confess her feelings to her family and Billy. But then I think there are so many ways to disappear that wouldn't be as involved and high profile as Maura's situation became. If she wanted to disappear she could have just walked away, knowing things would still be mysterious and cloudy, still leaving room for multiple opinions, etc. Either things went wrong after she felt she had made her "escape", or she never meant to disappear at all and something sinister later occurred.

Hello all,

I´m once again returning to the apparent witness account of John M-tte, one of the neighbours on Rte 112 next to the final resting place of the Saturn.

I have seen it reported that Mr M-tte clearly stated that he from his house actually witnessed how the Saturn was wilfully reversed into the snowbank, where it was later found.
According to the witness statement of Mr M-tte it is quite clear that the Saturn was deliberately planted in the snowbank.
If the reporting of Mr M-tte´s witness account is correct it would also make sense of Mrs W-man´s statement that she heard an acceleration, followed by a thud.
What if the Saturn came down Bradley Hill Road, stopped at the junction of BHR and Route 112, turned left, accelerated, braked, stopped and reversed into the snowbank, thus creating the sound of a thud with the car hitting the snowbank.
This would make sense, IMHO.
Ideas?

I've been reading many references to "FIT" and it has me confused. I recall when PI "Weeper" created this acronym for "Forum Investigative Team". Basically stating there is LE, the group of PI's/retired officers/etc, and the people joining in on the MMM forum. Different people all investigating or looking for Maura. What I don't recall is certain individuals 'assigned' to be a FIT member. The way FIT is presented recently on here it appears like it was an entity created by membership only; like a special task force or something. I always thought of it as 'just people on the 'net looking for Maura'...have I assumed wrong this whole time? I've been looking at all of us on Topix as FIT too. I wasnt on the MMM forum the last year+ it was around so maybe something changed!?!?

That's why they did it, and continue to do it - to discourage anyone else from coming forward.

Also, their five year derogation of the Haverhill area residents in general and a few residents in particular is the kind of talk heard of those who believe in eugenics.

If the FIT had been alive in Germany during the 1930's, they'd have all been the best Nazis.

The FIT are a purely mean, ugly, nasty, vicious, depraved, and utterly dishonest group. They have zero love in their hearts for anyone, least of all Maura Murray.

They are so low that they are using Maura Murray's disappearance and presumed death to spread their own version of hatred and division.

They care about Maura Murray only to the extent that they can use her fate to advance their own vicious agenda.

Inside, they're probably disappointed they could not take credit for the Holocaust.
