Dawn wrote: I got a PM to tell me to go look at the kingbash site. well.. low and behold.. No wonder I am gettng attacked like this.. same people on this thread - do that over there. gads.. I could only look at a page or two.. its just mud sling after mud sling this is about Maura Murray. Lets keep it that way. If someone CHOOSES to share their identity.. its none of your damn business. carry on please.. obviously you have another outlet to do so. Let this be about Maura. King slings mud those of us posting in the king bash forum post facts, you would do well to learn the difference. Like I already posted ther is plenty of "mudslinging" with all the names and identities of suspects that have been thrown out by posters in this forum. The claims are based on nothing more than idle gossip without one single shred of supporting evidence to back up ANY of the claims that any one of the suspects is really the guilty party.

I wish I could, my posts are always done on the run, half the time I'm not even sitting down. LOL i am stubborn. my home is no longer kept to the high standard i once kept (and no one has taken up the slack). i have learned many lessons by being present here and elsewhere. i've always been known for my high energy and multi-tasking. i post too much.

Wowzer wrote: <quoted text> It's a known fact that the more someone is questioned, the more their story will change as to what they saw. This was an older man that was questioned a million times by several people, LE, family, PI,strangers, etc. Wasn't it the PI that hunted him down at his new home in FL that he refused to speak to? I would have refused to speak to him too after being put thru hell, moving away and then have strangers track me down to question me further. He heard what people were saying about him, it was in one of the newspaper articles that he was hurt by what they thought after all he tried to do was help her. You seem to be stuck on the SBD and yes Peri he was slandered and his reputation was most certainly harmed by people like you. As much as you would like everyone within a mile to be dragged in to take a lie detector test, a grand jury called, and people to be charged with obstruction of justice keep in mind that as far as we know there is still NO evidence that a crime has even been commited. Your stories and facts change also on this forum and you have been corrected before for stating something that was wrong. Because of this would you say you are a liar or that after all the mountains of bullshit you were just confused? Didn't he agree to be interviewed by Maribeth Conway for a recent four-part series? The one that appeared last summer or so? I know that in the past eighteen months or so, a reporter was able to speak with him, which was a wonderful and unexpected bonus.

Suzanne wrote: <quoted text> I agree. A first step in finding a missing person is: know her background, where did she work, who were her co-workers, her boss, her colleagues. WHO WERE THE LAST PEOPLE TO SPEND TIME WITH HER. Maura worked at this gallery THE DAY BEFORE SHE DISAPPEARED. Then we have FC tell us it is 'none of our business?' I am including myself in that group of people. Are you involved in the investigation in some official capacity? Are you LE? A private investigator? UMass security? If the answer is no, then my statement stands. There have been questions I have asked family members that they have been unwilling or uncomfortable to answer. That is their right, their prerogative if you will, and I'm ok with that. Because I understand that, as a civilian with no special training, there's not actively a whole lot I can realistically do to help find Maura. What I can do, I try to do. What am I doing here? I am here to try to educate people--to help people try to keep facts straight, to clarify rumours or misinformation. That's all I've ever been on Topix for. What was I doing on other MM forums? Maintaining a "web presence" for Maura, so to speak. That's what the family created the website for, not to end a sentence with a preposition Quija...lol....I participated in those forums to come up with whatever ideas I could, and occasionally to do logistical help (like when Helena couldn't deal with an Excel spreadsheet) but mostly to let the family know I was there, that I cared, that Maura was not forgotten. I have no illusions that anything I provide may help find Maura. It would be wonderful if it does, but I wouldn't presume. My job is mostly to let the family know that Maura is loved and remembered--and also to keep wrong information from being perpetuated as fact.

Yes you do have to repeat yourself many many times because some people just don't seem to "get it" and go on and on and on and nausium.......... LOL....you STILL have to repeat the cell phone stuff, and I only sort of "get" it. And that's totally not your fault. You're just not speaking a language I understand. But I'm workin' on it.:-p

Snowy White wrote: Let's print it again: in Dawn's own words.... **Johnny Please sign up on the other forum so private messages can be sent to you and you identity can be confirmed. If this is a joke - this is a very sick joke and unfair to those that care about the Murrays or Maura. It is not a funny joke. If you are who you say you are - you can join the other forum where your IP can validate who you are.** Yawn. She said that she and Johnny had dealt with it in private. Why did you feel the need to bring it up again? Seriously? SOMEBODY, please stop. I don't care whether it's you, or Dawn. But SOMEBODY has to not respond when they are poked. I don't care who started it, or who's right or who's wrong.

think about it...there are parallels. vigilante justice involving McKay/Kenney/Floyd came by way of guns. here, the weapons of choice are accusation/innuendo/gossip. they, too, are destructive.

Then we are all FOOLS because most of us here are trying to glean any crumb of information that we can to actually HELP in finding out what happened to Maura. Bob is in Indiana throwing wine boxes off his roof. Someone else is spattering a rented car with coke from a red licorice stick. You are saying we are all just poor deluded fools.
