FireCat wrote: You know, Suzanne, that's the second time you've brought up the issue of publication (the first was when you asked me if I had ever been published). What does that have to do with anything? Trying to make yourself feel better about something? Trying to let us know that you're smart and accomplished and successful?(And that jibe about "those who can't, teach"? Wow. Like I haven't heard THAT before. Usually by someone who doesn't understand what it takes to be a college professor.) I never would have doubted--or even cared, one way or the other--if you hadn't kept harping on it. Example: Dawn is very obviously good at what she does--half the time when she's talking about her work I have no clue what she's saying, because she's so good at it and I'm so bad at it--but do I give a crap or accuse her of being elitist and rubbing it in my face? No--because I don't care that she's good at it. Her being good at it doesn't make me feel like less of a person. In fact, I'm THRILLED that there are people like Dawn around who are good at that stuff, so I don't have to be. Also, in this situation, she's darn handy to have around when we're talking about Maura's cell phone. Ditto White Wash. She's the first to admit she's not as comfortable writing a sentence as she is taking a photo. And damn, the girl can shoot. Does that make me feel bad? I will admit to a certain yearning, a wish that I could be a better photographer. But do I attack WW for being better than I at it? No. So posts like several of your recent ones, while distracting me from Maura's case, also make me wonder what the hell your beef is. Seriously. Have you said ANYTHING on this forum that's about Maura? My recollection of your posts is that they are mainly to insult individuals and to trash long-time posters of previous MMM forums. Yadda yadda yadda my remark about your "publications" was pure SARCASM and you didn't get it. You just plunged right in and listed some shit about literary journals. And then you LECTURE us about how knowing which gallery Maura worked in on her last day in Amherst is an invasion of her privacy ?!? People are discussing her birth control but knowing which gallery she worked in is invasion of her privacy! I clearly irritate you so just please leave me alone.

I also donated one of my guitars that was auctioned off to raise money for the Youth Arts and cultures program that was started in the community. I don't live in Brockton, Verizon DSL gives me a different server every day usually they are all in eastern MA although a few days ago they put me in Pawtucket RI.

White Wash wrote: Just for the record this IS IN CORRECT since I heard it directly from someone involved. CW told a neighbor what he thought he saw someone running around that time frame. The neighbor took him about the date and he checked his records and they where the same night! This neighbor told the Store Owner who was relaying every piece of information to Fred! So she picked up the phone and called Fred and told him! And CW did contact NHSP himself but by that point Fred was in his face w/the PI's and it instead of letting LE handle it well you got people refusing PI's searches! Does not mean that CW has not been help NHSP! This is just ONE OF THE MANY THINGS THAT are misleading about this case! <quoted text>Weeper wrote: It also brings to mind the assertion that a man saw a girl running along the road the night of the accident. The man who stated this did not report this to the police. A conversation this individual had with another person was “overheard” and reported to the police two months after the night of the “incident”, reported shortly before an extensive ground search of the immediate area was being planned. Thank you WW But it is just so much easier for some to accuse and blame the locals.

Suzanne, I certainly do not 'bully' anyone and have never noted that firecat does. There appears to be a paranoia here lately that seems unfounded. This is my opinion. If you have a question related to Maura that I might answer, go ahead and ask. There is nothing I would pursue more fervently than progress here.

Mason wrote: Part 3 -- FINAL The ancient Egyptians turned into major league party animals during a five day celebration waiting for the flood. It was a nonstop celebration of what they regarded as the beginning of their New Year and it conveniently allowed for the annual addition of four days to their 360-day solar year (12 months consisting of 30 days each) and one day to their lunar calendar to match them to their sidereal calendar. This five-day celebration turned into a six day celebration every fourth year to account for the 365 day and one-fourth of a day that the priests knew to be the true measure of a year from their sidereal year. The mythical legend of Osiris's magical resurrection from the dead by his sister, Isis, so that he could have an erection and impregnate her with their son Horus -- who would later seek revenge upon his paternal uncle Set, who murdered Osiris -- has been the source of many legends and stories, including Hamlet. The rejuvenation and celebration of the rebirth, redemption, and triumph of life over death through the magic of sexual intercourse has been an enduring and appealing myth to humans everywhere throughout time. The ancient Egyptians joyously celebrated this power and there can be little doubt that the judgmental and disapproving words drunkenness and fornication were nonstop activities that likely would cause Mardi Gras revelers to blush. Ah, how deeply I regret not living in those times! And wouldn't it be great if the Puritans had settled elsewhere, perhaps in Greenland? It was a full moon in Libra and now the Moon is moving into Scorpio that symbolizes sex, death, and rebirth. Do not be surprised if your sex drive perks up. And, practice safe sex or you may find yourself with a little boy named Horus asking about Uncle Set, who by the way, later morphed into the entity called Satan. Satan and Set represented Saturn to the ancient stargazers because it was the slowest moving object in the plane of the ecliptic visible to the naked eye. Indeed, Saturn orbits the Sun every 29 and one-half years. Jupiter, which is next closest to the Sun takes only 12 years to complete its orbit. The ancients calculated precisely how long it would take each visible planet to realign itself in a conjunction with Saturn. If, for example, Saturn and Jupiter formed a conjunction at a particular location in the night sky, the noticed that Jupiter would move ahead of Saturn and return to the same place in the sky in 12 years. Saturn, of course, also was moving during that period and they noticed that it wasn't quite halfway toward returning to that point. Now, Jupiter appeared to be chasing Saturn and slowly catching up. They noticed that Jupiter would appear to catch-up and form another conjunction before Saturn reached the point where they previously conjoined. The ancients considered orbit time periods in terms of Saturn's apparent motion. For this reason, they called him Father Time. Since there would be no death without the dimension of time, they regarded Saturn as the spoiler of all the fun. This idea played a big role in Saturn morphing into the Devil, even though the ancient Egyptians did not regard him in such a negative fashion. End of your astronomy, astrology, mythology, and religious lesson for the day. Go forth and celebrate Moon in Scorpio. Fred I hate to disagree with you, but the full moon was in Virgo on March 10 and will be in Libra on April 9. Scorpio is in May. http ://www. findyourfate .com/astrology /year2009/moon 2009.html

Anne Thanks, Actually I do have a question for you, I have always wanted to know (but was too shy to ask, well not really)- are you the same Anne that heard the police scanner on the night of 2/9/04? For some reason I have the impression that was a different Anne.

Then your contribution was huge and pivotal, I read it and reread it over and over, it was the only realtime exposure we had to what was going on at the official end of this event esp since the police logs and records as archived on the new forum were recorded out of sequence and jumbled.

Why don't you loosen your corset strings, let your hair down and hey why not really go crazy, you could even go so far as to end a sentence with a preposition. Ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put. Sorry, but legal writing is one of the courses I've taught in law school.

Mrs Bish dropped Molly at her lifeguard job, she saw what she was wearing there was no need for a look at a video for comfirmation of her clothing.take care philip I'm agreeing with you.
