Me again. It was an indie. My favourite films usually are. Garnered 3 awards, went mainstream, was reviewed by Roger Ebert, Variety, New York Times, SF Chronicle, Washington Post etc. Looks like we are in for a pleasant evening's viewing.

There were things that Sharon said that led me to believe that Maura may have had a drinking problem.
Suzanne, I usually agree with your posts, but this time I have to disagree (a little). Maura is 21 and was living at UMass Amherst, which is it's own little party town. I see someone turning 21 and having fun. No different than any other 21 year old. Maura still held down 2 jobs, plus maintained her grades. I think the drinking problem is a little premature. IMHO.

Yes, i watched the 1994 version on utube as well. You didn't really screw up, it looks like it's adifferent version, but it's not.
It's poor quality, poor audio, so turn the volume up right away. Kind of boring too but still....
I agree there could be clues. In fact in my mind I'm already off and running on something.

You are probably right. Here's why: Sharon said Maura liked Bailey's Irish Creme in her coffee - the ONLY time of the day that I drink coffee is when I wake up in the morning, so I think in my mind somehow I got the image of Maura sipping ETOH at breakfast. Because for me coffee means those very first zombie like moments before I start functioning. I do know that many people enjoy Bailey's in their coffee as an after dinner drink.

One's a short, and the feature is based on it. Same premise, same director, basically same movie...different versions.

Right, and all the trailors are so different. This one says how to rob a booksore on the book you see. Actually, the more I watch, it seems fun enough.

Yes, I totally agree with your point. But SOMETIMES Bailey's serves a purpose in the morning w/coffee IF you have a hangover?

It may be a low point here, but truly what you put out to the world will most certainly arrive back at you. If you spew hatred, that is what you will receive back. If you practice understanding and compassion, you receive....If you truly emit love...it will surely arrive.

I can't agree more. It's just a shame that someone didn't say this a few years ago on the old MM forum. There's no telling what difference it might have made.

Reference to Maura's disappearance is included
in news article of 3/19/2009 about Briana's
disappearance. "Someone Knows" on Maura's site.

Thanks Anne,

I am leaving once and for all with your kind words.

Just the other day I was thinking to myself how blessed I've been, especially this past year and yes you are absolutely right.

Yes, I will admit that Maura's disappearance has been very unsettling for me. I am 5'7", 125 lbs., my hair is much like Maura's, and I travelled those same routes alone quite a bit for a number of years.

It could have been me and I think of my family being told, "Oh, she ran away and started a new life", while they plead with LE and the public that I wouldn't do such a thing year after year. But, that's moot at this point.

I regret the opinions of the private investigators for the Molly Bish Foundation and the expert criminal profilers are not what people want to hear.
